- Knocking them out without killing them was only slightly harder than childishly simple because most of my ingrained habits - whether from before I picked up super-strength or from the memories of the Butcher - were based on the premise of hitting people as hard as possible. It took an uncomfortable amount of mental effort to pick them up by shirts or belts and fling them into walls - spreading the force of impact across their whole body - instead of just hitting them in the face so hard their skulls shattered.
