- When Banjo spawns into a level, the game determines the angle Banjo is facing and records that direction. If a jiggy spawns with a direction, the game will use the value that was earlier recorded (or, Banjo's spawn angle/direction) and shoot the jiggy in that direction.
- This value is redefined when Banjo kills an enemy or beehive; the game will take the angle Banjo is facing at that moment and re-record that direction. Then, any jiggy that spawns in a direction will instead be redirected to the new angle rather than Banjo's spawn angle. This value is reset to the original angle whenever Banjo enters a loading zone (Motzand's church, Ticker's tower).
- It is currently unknown if the upward angle or height of a spawned jiggy with a direction can also be manipulated.
- This jiggy path manipulation can be used to redirect a jiggy into a more favorable position. For example:
- - The jiggy generated by defeating Conga (who's path cannot be altered) can overlap with the jiggy generated by Conga's orange switches (who's path can be altered). By jumping directly onto both jiggies, it is possible to grab both jiggies simultaneously while only getting one jiggy-jig dance.
- Other options are currently being explored.
- Listed below are the currently known jiggies that are affected by path manipulation:
- * Conga's orange switches (MM)
- * X marks the spot (TTC)
- * Boggy's first jiggy (FP)
- * Feed the pots (MMM)
