  1. I am writing in reference to your email which was received on 30th
  2. August 2012 about the early termination fees applied on your final bill.
  3. I believe the bill breakdown is not very clear and due to the
  4. misunderstanding you want more clarity of these charges.
  5.
  6. I am really sorry for the length of time taken to respond to you and I
  7. would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Just to
  8. let you know we have taken your email as a feedback and our senior
  9. management team find it very invaluable.
  10.
  11. I am really sorry that you feel these charges are unfair as there was a
  12. breakdown in communication. As per our ?terms and conditions? we require
  13. 30 days notice from the date of your request to disconnect the service.
  14. Our policy is such that each time a customer agrees install Virgin Media
  15. services they automatically enter a minimum new 12 month contract or
  16. maximum 18 months contract.
  17.
  18. The early cancellation fees has a maximum figure of £180.00. On
  19. investigating the account I was able to see you were charged more than
  20. £180.00 so I have already amended the pending direct debit for you. We
  21. will be taking £179.94 instead of £216.57 as stated on your final bill
