- Sailor’s Misfortune.
- Hail to thee and bow to me,
- For I am Calypso, god of sea,
- Thou journey was both long and hard,
- Is now just some tale, told by a bard,
- Seek the waters which none dare cross,
- Past the wrecks cloaked in moss,
- If ferried by my true desire,
- Then fear not my deathly ire,
- Hear the halls of ocean winds,
- Feel their song inside your minds,
- Gaze upon my untold form,
- Hear my voice as a storm,
- Know that this is not thy ending,
- But only true, my heart’s mending,
- Sing to me of thy misfortune and thy life,
- Tell me tales of your great strife,
- I love the feeling of your pleas,
- When they’re cried upon your knees,
- Do not mistake me for some old crone,
- I hold naught but youth in every bone,
- Pray to me, o’ farer of my lands and kingdom,
- You are now mine, all above and seldom.
- Astro dreams
- To the stars I reach,
- But skies I can’t breach,
- Like prison I am held to ground,
- And no matter the strength I pound,
- All my flights are momentary,
- In face of victory I shall not terry,
- With hands of flesh I craft steel,
- Through steel, fire I shall seal,
- No heat will bleed through by my will,
- Of fear, my heart will no longer fill,
- The sky turns red in its protest,
- But I care only for what is lest,
- True to courage I can only remain,
- And in my bravery shall not refrain,
- On broken limbs and cursing words,
- None will slow or make me spurred,
- To touch the heavens is my goal,
- A true wish of an innocent soul,
- But what cruel twist of fate,
- That of all the days, this is the date,
- When a man in black, tool in hand,
- Shall guide me there, not as planned.
