- I notice 3 things about the places pro-immigration types use to argue heir position
- 1. Historically wealthy, economic powerhouses
- 2. Not to totally discount the idea that immigrants provide economic contributions but there is also the fact that they move to places with money and jobs, muddling the causality
- 3. California being a big example, these places have lots of inequality and dependency and budgetary issues. Suggests there I some rot. All 3 are related to immigration
- 4. Only California can claim otherwise for some migranrs: most work service jobs. Not great engines of production it st be said
