Replying to Mike Hawke

The LAPD's forensic scientist; Ella Maria Lopez was used to seeing dead bodies and many, many cop cars and cops around a crime scene having been breezing she had wished she had her jacket to keep warm. She had been gathering evidence from the dead body before her, she was shocked at how to clean the cuts were as she looked up while getting up. "It's just amazing, it amazes me still." She admits before looking again to notice a piece of fabric in the victim's mouth. "Give me a new bag, please."

After getting a new evidence bag she used her tweezers to grab the fabric carefully from the lips. She looked over at the policeman around, as she got up and noticed that most of them work just standing around and some would only seem to be interested if it benefited them. One of them though, she thought didn't belong here. Although, she'd be spending her life taking him for something not even the policemen there would have been able to do, she doesn't know it yet and she doesn't know how it eventually happens.

She had no idea there was a suspect in the area still and she couldn't exactly think fast when the suspect popped out suddenly and making a run for it, being shoved aside in the process of wanting to escape the crime scene. It caused Ella to lose her balance and leaned backwards but as she begins to lean forward time began to slow down, which was like nothing she'd ever seen or experienced before.

After she was now looking down, she was stopped for falling any further, although her experience during this time frozen it felt like she was a goner, dead but so how after the limited time that was stopped, started up again. She was pulled into a male's embrace. Heart pounding, throat thickening from the fear of almost dying. Having been asked if she was alright Ella closed her eyes and stayed in his warm embrace, with him slightly pull her away from him so that he can look down at her.

"Yeah, yeah.. I'm alright only the feeling of dying, it felt so real." She told him as one the cops made it seem like she was on something. She looked over them then closed her eyes before looking up into his eyes. She knew she wasn't at all crazy about the feeling. "Well thanks to this detective right here. I'm not dead and you all will see have your forensic scientist round."
