- 1224 A.H - The Angel is born in Saddle Arabia
- 1229-1236 A.H - The Angel is educated and trained by the merchants of Saddle Arabia.
- 1237 A.H - The Angel recieves a vision of Celestia after being bitten by a poisonous snake. Becomes leader of the Ahl al-Youm.
- 1237-1240 A.H -The Angel wanders the deserts of Saddle Arabia with his people, learning the basics of swordplay and higher education.
- 1241 A.H -El Malak abandons his family and people to wander northwards, spurred by a prophetic vision warning about the return of Sombra in eight years time.
- 1241-1244 A.H -El Malak lives alone in the Wastelands, surviving on nuts and berries.
- 1244 A.H -El Malak arrives in Equestria after recieving a vision warning him of the urgency of his task. Meets with Celestia and gives the warning. Beginning preparations are made for the return of Sombra and the coming War.
- 1247 A.H -El Malak is knighted a Paladin of the Sun, is given a magic sword by Celestia per tradition of his order.
- 1248 A.H -El Malak participates in the Axis War, appearing in the battles of Stalliongrad, Fillydelphia, and Canterlot, as well as several minor skirmishes.
- 1249 A.H -Canterlot falls, El Malak justifies this as an intentional defeat, flees to the south to El Manelin.
- 1255 A.H -The Present.
