Rhillanon… the place of last hopes.

The world is a dangerous place but here on the edges of civilization much of that can be left behind. Here is where the desperate or the ambitious go to seek out a new life or riches beyond what they could find in the cities.

The dangers here are different – less subtle and more primal before you. The people here are not the refined gentle folk you might find in cities, but rough frontiersman who make a living however they can. Animals and creatures lost in the cities here roam free in the wilds not far and prey upon men given the chance.

That’s not to say there isn’t a spot for you here. The wilds are uncharted and the folks of Rhillanon and the other towns of the Roughs are often in need of help of certain tasks. Even here among the independent minded there are those tasks left only for the hardiest souls – and given the glimmer in your eye I’d say you’re one.

A name… that is something you can make here. But be careful as you do - because this isn’t the sweet just place you knew.


Justice in the Roughs

Justice in the area tends to be rudimentary – it relies on a bounty system and a few specific Lawkeepers who are known for their reputation and integrity. Few enough of them exist and they take on the most dangerous duty in general for in a land where often enough might means right, they try to impose a degree of civility.
