  12. [5:22pm] Proto_Lost: Simon follows after her, a feeling of sadness growing within him.

  36. [5:51pm] Alivi: Eriko nods. "I have….some things given to me by my grandmother, some jewelry… clothes…. other objects….but nothing of real value."

  39. [5:54pm] Alivi: Eriko nods she gets a notebook and gives it to Simon.

  41. [5:55pm] Alivi: If he looks on the desk there seems to be assorted books
  42. [5:56pm] Proto_Lost: He heads over to the chair, and gives the stack of books a quick look...what are they?
  43. [5:57pm] Alivi: A harry potter book, a game of thrones book, some notebooks, and a blue book with Japanese writing on it.

  60. [8:12pm] Alivi: There is a picture of Eriko and a man and a woman. They are all smiling and Eriko is holding what appears to be a degree. She looks like it is a college graduation.

  69. [8:17pm] Proto_Lost: Simon just smiles. "Must've been a good school if the Foundation picked you up." He keeps flipping through the album.

  71. [8:18pm] Proto_Lost: "Did you really want to be a chemist?"
  72. [8:19pm] Alivi: "Yes…. chemistry is the basis of all science…. if you want to understand anything…Chemistry is a must..."
  73. [8:19pm] Alivi: She smiles a bit.
  74. [8:20pm] Proto_Lost: Simon just chuckles. "I understand guns just fine without chemistry...but point taken."
  75. [8:20pm] Alivi: As Simon flips through he can see various pictures from throughout her life. There is some of her as a child with her father and mother looking younger. A picture of her with a flower arrangement and an elderly lady smiling. A picture of Eriko at what might be a Japanese festival she looks to be 7-8 in the picture and is wearing a kimono and holding up a goldfish in a bag.

  77. [8:24pm] Proto_Lost: Simon just smiles, feeling strangely left out and happy for her at the same time
  78. [8:25pm] Proto_Lost: He flips to a few pages before the end, the most recent pictures.
  79. [8:26pm] Alivi: There is a picture of her and her parents and grandmother again all dressed up. Seems to be a formal one.
  80. [8:27pm] Proto_Lost: "What's this one kid?"
  81. [8:28pm] Alivi: "Oh… that is just a formal family picture… we took it after my grandfather passed away…"
  82. [8:31pm] Alivi: Eriko moves over to look with Simon.
  83. [8:32pm] Proto_Lost: "Oh...Condolences for your loss." He flips a few pages back, somewhere between the grad pic and the family pic, if there're pages in -between them.
  84. [8:34pm] Alivi: There is another following it of her and some other girls. They are making peace signs and there is some doodles of hearts and stars having been made of the picture. It seems like it was from a photo booth. It seems heavily doctored. Close by is other photos of the girls all together. Shopping, Cafe, and other various activities.
  85. [8:34pm] Proto_Lost: He looks over to her. "Friends of yours?"
  86. [8:35pm] Alivi: Eriko smiles, "Aya, Kimiyo, Miki, and Satsuki."
  87. [8:35pm] Alivi: "We had been friends since high school..."
  88. [8:39pm] Proto_Lost: "Must've been pretty close then."
  89. [8:39pm] Alivi: "We were…."
  90. [8:41pm] Proto_Lost: Simon sighs. "Must've been rough when Kazuya let slip that you were assigned here."
  91. [8:42pm] Alivi: "They didn't join the Foundation..."
  92. [8:42pm] Proto_Lost: He looks up. "So...they don't know you're here?"
  93. [8:43pm] Alivi: She shakes her head.
  94. [8:43pm] Alivi: "They don't..."
  95. [8:43pm] Proto_Lost: Simon sighs, and flips to the end.
  96. [8:45pm] Alivi: There are pictures of her and a man. There is a happiness Simon has rarely seen on her face. He's seen some things close to that expression she is making. But together they look very happy.

  98. [8:47pm] Alivi: Eriko nods.
  99. [8:48pm] Proto_Lost: Simon feels an ache somewhere inside him, he knows that there's a very good chance that she's never going to be that happy ever again...not while she's in here. "I...I'm sorry kid."
  100. [8:48pm] Alivi: She leans back on the bed and looks at the ceiling. Simon can see other pictures including one where she is wearing a ring happily and some with her family. She was most likely at a safe site that allowed her to still have brief contact with her family.

  102. [8:52pm] Proto_Lost: "...Kid, I think I'd give anything to have you sent back to when these were taken. I've never seen you this happy in here...and I don't think I ever will."
  103. [8:53pm] Alivi: "If he was so quick to do that….it wasn't real..."
  104. [8:54pm] Proto_Lost: Simon looks up, a bit surprised to hear that from her.
  105. [8:54pm] Alivi: "Right?"
  106. [8:55pm] Proto_Lost: "Yeah, I guess so...if it was real, he'd move heaven and hell, and hope beyond hope that you were still alive."
  107. [8:56pm] Alivi: Eriko doesn't look over, she takes a shaky breath.
  108. [8:56pm] Alivi: "It can happen again…I know it..."
  109. [8:58pm] Proto_Lost: Simon moves over to her, and puts a hand around her shoulders. "It will kid, just wait...out there is a lad tailor-made just to be with you. And he's wondering where you are now and what a dame like you is doing right this very moment."

  119. [9:14pm] Alivi: She covers her face with her hands. "Otousan… I don't want to die…."
  120. [9:15pm] Proto_Lost: He holds her in a tight hug. "I thought you'd keep going with making your will kid, I....I'm glad you don't want to."

  123. [9:17pm] Proto_Lost: "You're not alone kid...I've never been this scared of a fight my entire life...I don't think I can bear to lose another daughter."

  125. [9:19pm] Proto_Lost: "This fight could be a month from now or next week, but I have a feeling that it'll come, and I hope that everything I have will be enough to protect you my daughter."

  252. [02:32am] padri: She twirls! When she's done, she moves in closer to Rick, leaving the waltz position. "How about the tango?"

  257. [02:37am] padri: She grins. "Then I'll teach you." She moves into his personal space, holding him at the same time too close to be casual and too far to be intimate; exactly where she wants him.
  258. [02:38am] padri: She moves him with her around in circles through pushing away and pulling close. It's very much the sexual teasing when expressed through Magpie's body, and she seems to remember it almost flawlessly when compared to the waltz.

  260. [02:40am] padri: "Everyone should know the tango." She guides his arm to hold her as she leans back, giving him the illusion of control.

  262. [02:43am] padri: She stands back up, right in his personal space again. "You could be very good at it."

  894. [7:31pm] Alivi: "But I'm not like you… I'm not a fighter…. I just know how to mix up chemicals…."
  895. [7:32pm] Alivi: "I just want to make sure I am doing my best..."
  896. [7:32pm] SWLogs: "Then concentrate on being great at that. That's a skill that's more likely to save us all from the apocalypse than blasting away at things." He sighs. "You can't worry about everyone, Eriko. I learnt that a long time ago. Doesn't do anyone any good."

  898. [7:36pm] Alivi: "How would chemistry save us?"
  899. [7:36pm] Alivi: Eriko looks like she is pondering more than asking.
  900. [7:38pm] SWLogs: "Who knows? But at the end of the day, science is probably the greatest weapon in humanity's arsenal."

  902. [7:41pm] Alivi: Eriko looks at the glock. "So this one...right?"
  903. [7:42pm] Alivi: "It has limited ammo…how much should I carry with me?"
  904. [7:43pm] SWLogs: "I'd go with two mags spare, and one loaded in. That'll give you plenty of ammo."
  905. [7:44pm] SWLogs: "If you get into a situation that you need more than that, well, a 9mm probably isn't going to be much help anyway."
  906. [7:46pm] Alivi: "True…" Eriko sighs.
  907. [7:46pm] Alivi: "How….do you load it?"
  908. [7:51pm] SWLogs: "Just put the mag in. There's no manual safety - see that little bar sticking out of the trigger? That has to be pressed in for it to fire."
  909. [7:51pm] Alivi: "Oh..."
  910. [7:51pm] SWLogs: "If you're unloading, there's a magazine catch on the left side, behind the trigger. Hit that to drop out the mag, pull the slide back to eject any rounds in the chamber, inspect it, release the slide and pull the trigger."
  911. [7:52pm] Alivi: Eriko stares at him.
  912. [7:52pm] SWLogs: "Like this." He takes the gun and demonstrates.
  913. [7:53pm] Alivi: Eriko watches. "Oh…"
  914. [7:53pm] SWLogs: It's run through a few times, then he hands it back to her. "Your turn."
  915. [7:53pm] Alivi: "This…..is hard..."
  916. [7:53pm] Alivi: She takes it and tries to do it. She doesn't slide back to eject the rounds.
  917. [7:56pm] SWLogs: "Gotta rack the slide back. Otherwise there might still be one in there."
  918. [7:57pm] Alivi: Eriko looks at Duncan, "O-Oh…"
  919. [7:57pm] Alivi: She does so and releases the slide.
  920. [8:02pm] SWLogs: "There we go. Practice that and you'll be doing it in your sleep."
  921. [8:18pm] Alivi: "Ok….."
  922. [8:21pm] SWLogs: "Awesome." Duncan safes the P226, and looks around. "Well, I think that's about everything."
  923. [8:22pm] SWLogs: "Oh, almost forgot - you'll have to pull some spare mags and a holster from the armoury."
  924. [8:22pm] Alivi: "Um Duncan?"
  925. [8:22pm] SWLogs: "Yeah?"
  926. [8:23pm] Alivi: "O-Oh….do I just….um…"
  927. [8:23pm] Alivi: She seems to have lost track of what she wanted to say
  928. [8:25pm] SWLogs: "What?"
  929. [8:25pm] Alivi: "Well….t-thanks for helping me….I will do my best….even if I still don't understand it…."
  930. [8:26pm] SWLogs: "Don't understand what?"
  931. [8:26pm] SWLogs: Now he's confused.
  932. [8:27pm] Alivi: "I don't understand guns…."
  933. [8:28pm] SWLogs: "That's alright. You know enough to use one if you have to, and that's all that matters."
  934. [8:28pm] Alivi: "Ok..."
  935. [8:29pm] SWLogs: Duncan laughs. "You're not paid to understand 'em, after all."
  936. [8:32pm] Alivi: "I guess..."
  937. [8:47pm] SWLogs left the chat room. (Quit: Leaving.)
  938. [8:49pm] Alivi: Eriko goes to the armory and gets what Duncan told her to get. She sighs and places Castor in her room in a safe place. "Sorry Castor…"
