Are you using the new route?!?!
- Yes I am. This is also the reason half of my splits are blank.

Why do you keep resetting?
- One of 5 reasons most likely.
1) I missed the Mudkip manip. This is a 1 frame trick at 60FPS. By extension I may also reset over no encounter manip to Rival 1.
2) Missing the Wingull manip. This is a 5 frame window (Although I rarely react fast enough for 2 of the frames!)
3) Missing the Abra manip. I am bad at this manip!
4) I died. Speaks for itself.
5) Run was too bad to warrant continuing. For example, tons of slow fights, hitting spinners etc.

Why Mudkip?
- Mudkip is easily the best choice for the first portion of the game. Sadly it means we rely on moves like Tackle and Mud Shot, but it's absolutely worth it given Treecko and Torchic are not good.

What is the hardest fight?
- Norman is probably the fight I'm most likely to lose to.

Why is the answer to the previous question not Tate and Liza?!
- The new route having both L38 and an extra poke for Tate and Liza makes the fight infinitely more likely to win.

Wingull? Abra? Kyogre?
- Wingull is my flyer, and is also used to significantly speed up the first fight in Roxanne's gym.
Abra is used for teleporting around the map, cutting out movement segments and makes getting extra items more worth it. Also means I can do Mt.Pyre early (the way Emerald does) and then complete Winona's gym afterwards.
Kyogre is the box legendary, and kicks ass in the late game, equipped with Shock Wave, Waterfall, Surf and Ice Beam.

What are you playing on?
- I'm actually playing on DS (and am basically the only person nowadays who does!). This actually puts me at a slight disadvantage, as the DS runs at a lower framerate than GBP and GBI. Theoretically you can just convert DS times to what they'd be on GBP based on framerate alone, but there may be other factors (such as loads) that we don't know about!
In favour of the DS though, I get to play with a D-Pad that is leaps and bounds above most other consoles and controllers.

What is your goal time?
- Right now I just want to get Sub Heinz (so, sub 2:02:40). More long term, maybe I'll shoot for Sub 2!

What is WR?
- 1:57:17 by Shiru.

What are the grades? (A+/A/B/C)
- These are actually more for the benefit of the viewer, to see how good the segments were in my PB, with A+ being the best, and C being the worst. Shows easily that losing time to an A+ segment isn't that bad, but losing time against a C segment is really bad. It also allows viewers to see where I'm expected to be able to save large amounts of time.
