Hi Martin,

Thank you for the heads up. I am aware of this product. Umbrella Armories claims to be using genuine R-hops, so allegedly use of the trademark is legitimate. The more complicated issue however is that members of UA have said that they in fact don't always, and that money to them is more important than integrity. (in almost so few words actually) I have spoken with people who work at Evike, but the short version is that it is a vastly more complex issue to deal with than a simple C&D.

Well on all of the photos on Evike those patches look very glossy. It might be some silicone oil / lube but they still don't look right. Not even mentioning the rough finish.

No need for appreciation though as i got my own agenda in this as well ;) I didn't stumble accross this on Evike myself but it was posted on a local airsoft forum in a topic about R-Hops that I'm closely watching and actively commenting in. I'm quite desperately trying to convince people to invest into the real thing as troubleshooting installs and comparing performance is just pointless otherwise.

They probably use some sort of finish on them, which is a perfectly legitimate.
