Samurai

Stance: The Samurai relies on switching through different stances to deal with various situations found within the heat of battle. It allows them to keep versatile and prepared for any situation. Each ability may require a different stance to accomplish. Additionally, each stance applies a passive benefit.


Butterfly Stance: A swift, flowing stance relying on movement and swift strikes. While butterfly stance is active, the Samurai may dash short distances to make their attacks, covering more ground. Further more, they may slip in between opponents to avoid attacks of opportunity.

Dragon's Stance: A stance with emphasis on ferocious attacks that batter and break down guard of the enemy, crushing them with overwhelming force. While in the dragon stance, the Samurai's attacks deal additional damage against enemies attempting to block; while it does not deal damage to them outright, it potentially disarms or knocks aside blocking weapons.

Turtle's Stance: A stance focusing more on defense than offense. While in the turtle stance, the Samurai may attempt to deflect opposing attacks, gaining a +10 bonus when making an attack on the opposition.

Level 1:

Dragon's Retreat: (Dragon's Stance): You make a wide sweeping arc in front of you before leaping backwards. This attack may strike every enemy directly in front, dealing minimal damage, but granting you space. ((You may switch into Turtle Stance when you use this ability.))

Level 2:

Snapping Turtle: (Turtle's Stance): With sudden ferocity, you unsheathe your blade and sweep your weapon out so swift that opponent's find it hard to believe you've actually swiped your blade out twice. You strike two times; your attack takes priority over the opponent's attack. ((You may switch into Butterfly Stance when you use this ability.))

Level 3:

Dragon's Claw: (Butterfly Stance) You may quickly strike your weapon forwards with a sudden, fierce blow that ignores all but the heaviest of armours. If you land the attack, you may stun them and perform a critical attack. ((You may switch into Dragon's Stance with this ability.))
