Pawniard is an amazing Pokemon in ORAS NFE. Its dual STAB lets it hit almost every Pokemon in the meta for neutral or super effective damage. Pawniard is one of the best Pokemon in ORAS NFE since it has access to Swords Dance and Sucker Punch which makes it very hard to revenge kill and switch into. Not only is Pawniard one of the only offensive Pokemon with access to Knock Off, it actually has the strongest Knock Off in the tier which is one of the main reasons why I think its used so much.

Monferno has 83% usage(s/o Simbo for that number) because its the only Pokemon that resist Pawniards dual STAB and because its a great Pokemon in general of course. The 2 other Pokemon that can switch in more than 1 time is Tangela and Mienfoo, but my problem with those is that Tangela actually risks getting flinched from Iron Head and Mienfoo is basically outclassed by Monferno as Fighting type and as Pawniard check. What I'm trying to say here is that Pawniard forces Monferno usage, otherwise your team is at a disadvantage.

Im gonna vote ban because I think the meta is so centralised around Monferno and Pawniard which is not healthy at all. The reason why I want Pawniard banned over Monferno is because I think Pawniard has less checks and is a lot harder to deal with. I think that if Pawniard gets banned Monferno will be easier to deal with too since Pokemon like Gabite and Marshtomp will most likely keep their Eviolite which lets them tank more hits from Monferno. Another thing I want to point out is that if we banned Monferno before Pawniard we would probably have to ban Pawniard later anyway. We can't afford to do that since we don't have that many Pokemons in the meta.
