- When I first discovered Jackie Jean’s work on ilovephotography.com, I was immediately drawn to it. At the time, I was only using Lightroom, and I remember sending a link to Jackie’s work to another photog I admired asking how I might accomplish similar editing only in LR. I can’t tell you how excited I was when only a few weeks later I found out Jackie, herself, was going to offer mentoring. The weeks I spent under Jackie’s wing were incredibly eye-opening. I had very limited experience editing in photoshop, and she opened up a whole new world to me. I can easily say that this was the best investment in my photography that I could have made. She’s kind, encouraging, funny, creative and simply has an incredible eye. Numerous photog friends of mine have told me that my work has grown immensely in the last couple of months, and I know (and freely tell them) that this is largely due to the time I spent with Jackie.
