  1. /me cracked his knuckles before laying out his supplies. This wasn't an easy project. He started small, drafting up the designs on some old newspaper. First to come was the stock, a mix of spare parts held together by some duct tape. Following his own instructions, he began assembling a semi-solid stock. It wasn't comfortable, or long enough, but it works. Next is a complicated bit. He needed something flexible for the cables to tie on. Luckily he had a broken sidearm laying around, encased in nothing but the Union's production polymer. He used a personal lighter to heat up parts of the slide enough to beat them flat. After that it was a game of correct measurements and precise cutting. Once his new piece fit the sketches, he assembled that too.

  3. (Marshall Johnston) ** With a good majority of the project finished, all that remained were the internals. A tricky part for sure--if he didn't already have a trigger assembly from his pistol. One simple drag 'n drop operation later, he has a functional crossbow. Arrows shouldn't be a problem, there's tons of junk around. **
