  1. Hi Halby, here's my application for the allstars roster :)
  2.
  3. 1) PERSONAL INFORMATION
  4. A. Personal Name * Mette Hee
  5. B. Age and Gender * 29, female
  6. C. Where are you from? * Copenhagen, Denmark
  7.
  8. 2) YOUR CHARACTER
  9. A. Link your characters armory page * http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/ravencrest/Junea%c3%ba/simple (USE THE URL CODE)
  10.
  11. B. Do you actively play your off-specs and do you have any experience playing them? *
  12. I currently play moonkin as offspec, but I have always found guardian to be more fun in raids. I have no raiding exp as moonkin in this expansion, so my preference for tanking might change.
  13.
  14. C. Do you play alts and would you consider re-rolling?
  15. I re-rolled a healer priest main (first holy, later disc) in my previous guild because it fit the raiding roster better, but further into the expansion my guild needed me to roll back to restoration druid. However I have kept priest as my main alt since then, and I have no problem playing either class/spec in a raid. It seemed the obvious choice for me to have a healer-alt as I have been playing restoration druid since vanilla wow (rip hurricane 41 point end talent in restoration). The basics for healing are the same across the board really, so making the swap between healer classes have always seemed natural to me. I have experience playing holy paladin as well.
  16.
  17. When choosing an alt for personal play, I have always opted for rogue outside of the raiding environment. But there are never any raiding spots for rogues, so playing this have always just been for personal enjoyment.
  18.
  19. 3) IN-GAME & PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
  20. A. Will you be able to attend all Wednesday+Thursday raids 20:00-00:00 CET)? *
  21. Yes
  22.
  23. B. Previous Guild(s) + Reason for leaving previous Guild(s) *
  24. I started vanilla wow as alliance main and played mainly with my real life friends. My first ‘real’ raiding guild (when server-firsts was no longer the shit) was Praemium Callidus, because competitive gaming was what kept the game interesting for me. I played resto druid with PC all the way through Black Temple.
  25.
  26. When Sunwell came out, a lot of oldschool PC players didn’t find the game as fun anymore and decided to either quit or play casual. Some officers were stepping down and I decided to give alliance one last shot with two of my guildies from PC, so we did a joint application to Loot FTW and played there through Sunwell up till Kiljaeden.
  27.
  28. I didn’t really like the raid environment in Loot FTW, and most of my real life friends had quit the game at this point. So I decided to reroll horde after Sunwell and for the new expansion. After playing in a friend’s guild for a while, I was encouraged by a few raiders in Last Resort to apply for a raidspot there. I stayed with Last Resort for almost all of this expansion’s content but after we killed Algalon the guild was starting to fall apart. In Trial of the Crusader the officer team was starting to disband and when Nopher joined Ensidia, Banai officially called it for the guild.
  29.
  30. At this point in my WoW career I was considering whether or not I should quit as well. I was in the middle of my education and WoW took up a lot of my time, especially on progress and it was hard for me to balance my life to do well in both things at the same time. However after a few weeks of playing with what was left of our roster in Last Resort I was contacted by Tun who wanted to recruit me for their Icecrown Citadel mainroster. I declined his offers for three weeks but finally gave in after he literally hunted me down at Dreamhack Winter in Jonkoping, Sweden to try and recruit me.
  31.
  32. I had a good run with Ensidia, and stayed with them for the rest of the expansion. Before the release of the next expansion the guild was already falling apart due to various reasons. It was clear that the guild had run its course. People were starting to get burned out and didn’t have the same drive anymore especially after we got banned for our Lich King kill and lost world first. People were raid-logging and didn't take the game serious anymore. The officers decided to merge our core people with Method in preparation for the next expansion. At this point of the game I was pretty burned out myself. However I stayed with Method for a while but decided to ultimately stop playing before the release of the next expansion.
  33.
  34. I didn’t really come back to WoW before Legion. I spent my time in other games (mostly Dota2 and CS:GO). I played some Cataclysm with some oldschoolers although it was very casual from release, I stayed with them till after Deathwing was dead. Played some MoP with some friends I had made during my years in WoW and came back late into Warlords of Draenor to play with a bunch of Dota2 players from Norwegian Inhouse League. The content was pretty much on farm and all you did was sit around in your garrison, but it felt nice to be back in WoW again, so I decided to buy Legion. The guild I am in now is a mix of people from Dota2 and their real life friends. Everyone are as casual as they get.
  35.
  36. This has been boiled down to a very short version. If you need any additional information about previous guilds + reason for leaving, feel free to contact me, I’ll be happy to answer any question you might have.
  37.
  38. C. What is your previous PVE-experience (Vanilla-TBC-WotLK-Cataclysm-MoP)?*
  39.
  40. Landed some server firsts in Vanilla, realm firsts through the other expansions. I used to be a nerdy theory crafter and used to sit for hours with spreadsheets to make sure I got the maximum potential out of my class for progress raids. This has also translated into other games like Diablo3 and Path of Exile. I have written gear guides and class guides for both priest and druids in earlier expansions back when Manaflask was still in its early startup.
  41.
  42. I’ve been playing some pretty serious PvP as well but that was back in the earlier seasons all the way up to Season 8-9 where I’ve been cut off gladiator 4 times in both 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5. Three of the times we overestimated how much rating you needed for cut and ended up playing way too many stupid matches against hard counter comps. Once we actually lost because the warrior from our 5v5 didn’t want to help the team get 40 more rating because he had already secured gladiator from his 3v3 team.
  43.
  44. I actually believe being good at PvP helps immensely if you want to excel in PvE. In arena you often need to make fast decisions depending on how your opponent tries to outplay you. This has helped me a lot with reaction time, overview and playing under stressful situations during raid.

  49.
  50. E. What addons do you have set up to enhance your performance? Do you use WeakAuras (or likewise addons)?
  51.
  52. I have never used a lot of addons to enhance my performance. Basic ones include raidwarnings (DBM)and damagemeters (skada). Other than that I get the addons my guild requires me to have like RCLootCouncil for example. However, I have used ElvUI for quite some time now as my main UI. I used to nerd UI setups a lot before the creator of TukUI made the Elv version which I have used ever since pretty much. It’s easy on the eyes.
  53.
  54. 4) COMPUTER AND INTERNET INFORMATION
  55. A. Computer specifications *
  56. Nothing out of the ordinary. I run both my OS and WoW on a SSD 850 evo. I have an old GFX but it doesn’t affect the games I am playing although I am dreaming about a new one haha. If you have any specific questions about this, just contact me and I’ll check it out. Honestly I built this PC like 8-9 years ago and only replaced parts when they broke. As long as it can run the games I want to play with no problem I am pretty satisfied. The geeky side of me want to upgrade my components but my bank account says I can’t splurge so I have to settle.
  57.
  58. Most of my offset gear (mouse, keyboard, screen etc) is from sponsor gifts, mostly Razer and Steelseries. I play on a 120 Hz screen.
  59.
  60. B. Do you have issues with D/C due to internet or computer problems? *
  61. I’m sitting on a 80/20 connection and I never have problems with my connection. The times I have disconnected have been due to problems with the WoW servers or bugs (like druid combat ress).
  62.
  63. C. Do you have a microphone and are you able to communicate on Teamspeak 3.0?
  64. Yes
  65.
  66. 5) SHOW US YOUR BEST, NOT SCRUB
  67. A. Why do you want to join the ScrubBusters Allstar team? *
  68. Honestly because I need to be challenged to keep enjoying the game. I was already getting a little bit bored of the casual normal raids my current guild was doing before I started doing Mythic+ with some of your guys from All-stars. It wasn’t until then I started to really enjoy the game again. However Mythic+ is going to reach its cap rather soon, so when I heard you guys were looking for another healer for your roster it piqued my interest. Since I raided hardcore, I haven’t been able to play any other game if it wasn’t competitive or at least with people always pushing to become better. That’s why I played so much ranked Dota2 and CS:GO after WoW. I am a very competitive player by nature so I need a goal with my gaming and I need proof that I am getting better. From other games that proof come from ranked MMR, in WoW it comes from playing in guilds who are serious about progressing. I need to play with people with the same mindset as me to thrive. Funny enough, a lot of my old hardcore guildmembers now play other games professionally. Old habits die hard!
  69.
  70. B. Why should we pick you? *
  71. I have been playing team games for as long as I can remember. Always competitive if it was possible and I am always pushing myself to do better. I always put the guild first during progress. I believe in a strict raid policy where I get to play with people who strive for accomplishments more than anything. This includes understanding why you sometimes get benched to make the raid setup work or get benched because you are under-performing. Obviously the latter isn't preferable. However, a friendly raid environment is of course very important, which is why I always try to remind myself to stay humble and take any criticism constructively. I believe I am a solid healer for your roster, but alas I probably still have a lot to learn. I am accustomed with hardcore raiding and I know how to stay focused for long hours if needed. During the race we raided 7 days a week, often with only 2 short food breaks and 7 hours sleep, rinse repeat. Hardcore raiding also taught me how to be a fast learner. On tight encounters it’s crucial to keep personal fuck-ups to a minimum if you want to succeed, so keeping a cool head in stressful situations is paramount.
  72.
  73. As far as healing goes, I have been very vocal in my previous guilds. A lot of encounters often requires the healer team to work closely together in order to keep the raid stable at all times. Knowledge of both boss mechanics, the various healer classes and fight progression is the key to successfully planning and executing the tactics prepared. This is also why I think having alts is important, you learn a lot about other classes by actually playing them.
  74.
  75. Most of the healers I have played with through the years have been very good at their class. However, there is always room to improve, so I have always spoken up when there was something I was unsure about. This helped reducing the possible errors when raiding.
  76.
  77. Outside of gaming I attend gaming events and socialize as much as possible with the people I play with. Last few years I have been to Gamescom (representing Curse), Dreamhack (Winter and Summer), The Gathering (Norwegian LAN) and ESA (European Speedrunner Assembly). I love to meet people and I am always happy and positive, just ask the people who know me. No babyrage here.
  78.
  79. My vanilla server used to be The Maelstrom. Not sure how many of your guildies are old school The Maelstrom players though!
  80.
  81.
  82. C. Is there anyone in ScrubBusters or another guild who can possibly vouch for you?
  83. I used to be guildmates with both Bastrel and Maitoz, although we played with each other at different times in our WoW careers and in different guilds.
  84.
  85. Other than that, you could probably ask the team I am running Mythic+ with, Quyn, Hardy, Hoji and sometimes Malakxy and Wormie.
  86.
  87. If you need vouching from another guild, let me know and I’ll ask them to contact you. I am still in contact with people from Last Resort, Method and Ensidia on a regular basis.
  88.
  89. D. How did you hear about us?
  90. I accidentally joined an all-stars Mythic+ group because Bastrel said he needed a healer for his group. I was supposed to play with some Swedish friends, but we ended up with too many people for one group. So I wanted to avoid drama about the healer spot since the other healer is autistic and doesn’t have any other friends he could play with (no joke).
  91.
  92. 6) CONFIRMATION
  93. Take your time to look through your application before you submit.
  94. A. Please leave your Battlenet/skype here so we can contact you. *
  95. Juneau#2629 on Bnet, Juneau#8051 on Discord. I am always online on those two if I am at my computer. If you need to contact me urgently, send me a pm highlighting me on Discord, and it should show up on my phone.
  96.
  97. Bonus picture of Maitoz trying to impress me by flying up really high and dismounting, then wanting to shadowstep down and not die but he failed and rekt himself. This was when he played rogue as main.

  101. Double bonus picture of one of the real oldschool guilds, Shadow Ryders, on The Maelstrom I used to play in. Considered to be the best guild on the server along with Hellion for a long time.
