				 Electronic Device’s Purpose
	Technology is constantly improving. In the 21st Century, people are using advance technology to improve every aspect of our daily lives. Helping people is one aspect that plays an important role. A few examples would be communication, entertainment, business, and so on.  Technology is as important as the air we breathe in, and we cannot live without it. It has a purpose and greatly affects my life and others throughout the world.
	My life is overflowed with technology. I have been exposed to technology ever since I was a young boy. The computer and the cell phone are the main electronic devices that I use in my life daily. I spend about five to eight hours a day using a computer. Since I am going to major in Computer Science, this ratio is not as bad compared to those whom already have a B.S. degree on Computer Science or Computer Information Systems. Compared to my hourly ratio, others will spend time on the computer for more. About eight to twelve hours of computer time a day if someone majored in Computer Science.  College is also exposes electronic devices to students. Since I am a college student, I am obliged to come prepared with a laptop for class. The laptop is

important for me because it is for my major. The intention of using this electronic device is to gain knowledge and preparation for my future career.
	The cell phone is another imperative device that I must use daily.  I cannot live without my cell phone. It is part of my life and it connects me with those who I care about.  I spend about five to six hours on the cell phone mainly for communication. Communication is significant mainly because it gives a connection to those whom I would want talk to. This electronic device has a purpose; Such as emergencies, information, entertainment, and so on. A cell phone is useful for me because I can connect with my family and friends. I necessitate in keeping contact with my family. One example to explain why is because, I have to tell them where I am whenever I am either with a friend or some that I just met.  I need to keep in contact with my friends. One example would be long friendship relationship while he/she is out of state for college. My family and friends are vital to me, and using a cell phone would help improve my relationship with them.
The usual routine involving my electronics is texting someone. I would text message someone for some point communication. I would use the computer for gaining knowledge.  These devices are important to me because all of these help my communication, and education. I spend most of my time using these electronics as part of my daily routine. I would not say that using these electronics is exactly healthy for you, but I’ve learned to accept these technologies only because it is useful.
