* Teth-alla coughs. The towering creature frowns as she checks her equipment.

<[BNS]Minase> Actually, gold smells like trouble. I'm gonna go with the quack here and say Silver

<Maryn> Seems they don't want us backtracking after all.

<Tenrei> [A similar slab closes, blocking your progress forward.]
* Jung-ko use handsign now. Too bad no one can understand that.

<Tenrei> [small holes open in the walls and water starts spilling in.]

<Tenrei> [The pool is a very unpleasant shade of greenish-brown. There's a ledge over there you think you can climb up onto, and the light catches something that glints for a moment at the bottom.]
<Tenrei> [Shining through the murk like a clear beam of sun through fog]
* Jung-ko head to the ledge pronto!

<Maryn> Hey... Minase, got a water breathing spell or something?
<[BNS]Minase> Hahah, no.
* Jung-ko spit spit. The water is getting into her mouth.
<Tenrei> [It's deep enough to dive]\

* Maryn takes a deep breath and goes retrieve said shiny object.
* Maryn comes back some moments later, as she desperately gasps for air.

* Jung-ko periodically checks for any missing gear/medicine and dry it. She took off her labcoat, and is starting with her shirt right now.

<Maryn> ...hey Minase, I think there's some more stuffs down there too.

* Jung-ko strips! She's now only in her spare (dry) shirt, and only that.

<[BNS]Minase> Doing with what?
* [BNS]Minase turns to swim out of the pool, an idea brewing in her mind..
* Maryn swims over, with a murderous intent, her fist hits Minase from behind.
<Maryn> ..do that again and it'll be your face Minase.
<[BNS]Minase> Ah! Y-you!!
<Maryn> Yes. Me.
* Maryn stares at Minase.
<Tenrei> [A low base sort of hum, like from some great whale, echoes through the chamber.]
* [BNS]Minase turns, ready to begin casting a BOOM spell at Maryn... until she hears that.
* Maryn turns to hear this noise..
<Maryn> ...this gets better and better!
* Maryn is absolutely gleaming.
<Tenrei> [A huge body leaps out of the water directly under Maryn, swallowing her whole.]
<[BNS]Minase> !!!
* Jung-ko is still busy drying her stuff so she only hear a huge water splash and nothing else.
<Jung-ko> Stop playing around already, sheesh.
* [BNS]Minase flees to the shore faster than Michael Phelps!
<Tenrei> [Maryn: its stomach is all squishy and unpleasant.]
<Maryn> Ugh.... this is disgusting...
* Maryn struggles.
<Tenrei> [The thing surfaces, its eyes fixed on Minase. It looks like a small whale, except with a seemingly different diet.]
* [BNS]Minase stops short, her escape blocked!
<[BNS]Minase> Ah...

<Tenrei> [It bellows again.]
* [BNS]Minase screams and tries to flee the other way!
