Galactus power statements

Something was inherently wrong with the weave of the universe, and Galactus knew that in order to heal it he would have to hunt down the problem and destroy it. His cosmic senses had detected the anomaly 2 cycles ago, and he had been building up power to confront it ever since then. As he finished absorbing the life energy of the planet he was destroying he decided that the time had finally come. With a single thought he summoned his solar-system sized ship, teleported aboard, and then transferred to the site of the being he had sensed.

The anomaly had been lurking in the vicinity of the former rift to the Cancerverse and as a result his senses had been partially obscured. All he knew was that he was about to encounter an extradimensional being of great power, whose very presence within this universe threatened to unsettle. What he didn't expect was that the being would be expecting him. It had taken the form of a muscly human with a large mustache, and was casually reclining on a small meteor.

"Hello, Galactus. I've been expecting you. My name is Phane."

Galactus was taken aback for a moment. This creature spoke the language of his Taa, his own homeworld that predated this universe. Hiding his confusion, Galactus replied.

"Your presence in this universe threatens it in its entirety. Leave now or face the wrath of the power cosmic."
