Kid Anon and Fluttermom Part 37

>You step outside, at first you don't see hide or hair of them. Until you hear buckling sides coming from the side of the cottage.
>You can hear Rainbow Dash making sounds of struggling as you make the turn. And the sight you run into is both an odd...and humorous sight.
>Fluttershy was busy putting harnesses, belts, and all sorts of safety measures on Rainbow dash. The look on Dash's face was priceless, she looked rather flustered.
>You point, as you hold back a smile. "Mom, what's with all that?"
>Rainbow Dash groans as her eyes shift towards you. She was clearly not ready for this to be the "Quadruple" solution.
>Fluttershy turned to you the moment she fastened the last belt "It's nothing really, Just making sure nothing bad will happen. You really don't mind Rainbow Dash?" she looks towards her
>Rainbow dash grits her teeth, it was obvious she wasn't too pleased with the arrangement despite going along with it. "No..Fluttershy..not..at..all...perfectly..ok...with...me.."
>You walk over to RD and look into her eyes, yup. Definatly not too happy. "Are you sure you're ok with this Aunt Dash? Can you even fly like that?"
>She quickly expands her wings and flaps them, slowly lifting off the ground while creating a gentle gust. "No I got this...I just." She looks at Fluttershy "I look ridiculous Fluttershy..."
>Fluttershy looked up at her, and smiled "But don't you feel good giving Anon a tour of Ponyville knowing he will be absolutely safe from harm? It shouldn't matter how you look if safety is involved"
>Rainbow Dash turned away from her to roll her eyes away from her sight "yeah,sure, safety"
>she lands back on the ground.
>You walk around and give a tug at a few of the safety harnesses. "So, I just have to uh...strap these on? Mom, are you sure it'll be ok?"
>Fluttershy nodded "I've made absolutely sure that nothing can possibly go wrong. As long as Rainbow Dash doesn't do any harsh flying maneuvers, you will be perfectly safe."

>Rainbow Dash sighed "Yup...gonna be really cool to fly...really slow" she said with sarcasm
>Fluttershy just nodded, not catching it. "I knew you'd understand! Anon, are you ready to go?"
>You nod, you feel a little nervous. But look at all that safety. it's gonna be fine. "Yeah, I think I am" with a hint of uncertainty in your voice.
>Fluttershy helps you up onto Rainbow Dash. It seems she can easily handle your already light weight. Fluttershy has RD open her wings so she can tuck your legs behind them. and begins carefully strapping you to her.
>your legs are now locked in place tucked under her wings.your lower torso attached to the saddle placed on top to keep you from tipping to your side. Your arms even had cuffs that were connected to a rope connected to Rainbow Dash's right hindleg. They weren't too tight and you could nearly stretch out. But they were intended as another safety measure incase you somehow fell. Now you knew how Rainbow Dash felt, at least somewhat. It was rather ridiculous.
>"there! that should do it. Perfectly safe" Fluttershy smiled at you "There should be no way you can fall. I can trust you not do any kind of wild flying, right Rainbow dash?"
>Rainbow Dash just nodded, answering that same question again with a hint of frustration she was trying to hide "Right...nothing cool or awesome...got it..."
>Fluttershy smiled "Good, we should get going then...we shouldn't waste any more time"
>Rainbow Dash made a sudden turn towards Fluttershy. making you wobble just a little. you put your hands onto Rainbow dash. to keep your upper torso balanced.
>"Actually Fluttershy, I kind of wanna spend some time alone with Anon. Do the tour solo." Rainbow Dash said.
>Before Fluttershy could ask the question of why, you ask first "Wha? why"
>Rainbow Dash tried to turn her head towards you, but the belts did make it tough. So she just said it "No offense, But I only got so much time before the race starts."

>Fluttershy tilted her head "But the race is still days away"
>Rainbow dash sighed "Yeah but I've got A LOT of training to do. Every second counts. I'm going to lose time if you come along with us Fluttershy. Again, no offense."
>Now you're confused, how much slower was fluttershy? "Why would mom slow us down?"
>Rainbow dash realized she was entering an almost insulting territory, so she tried to put it as delicatly as possible "Well, she's...kind of slow..."
>Fluttershy made a small protest "But Rainbow dash, you can't be going too fast either if you really want to do this tour, safety first remember?"
>Rainbow Dash had no intentions of going THAT slow "Yeah but, Come on Fluttershy. What if you stop us for every little thing. AGAIN...no offense, but I'm on a schedule. Don't you trust me?" Rainbow Dash gave her a pouty face, fully intended to put some guilt in her
>Fluttershy bites the bait, her ears drooping as she frowns "Oh no no, I never meant to imply I didn't trust you....and I suppose...if time is that tight....I guess I don't mind"
>Rainbow Dash quickly grinned "Ok good! just wait for me by my house, this is going to be quick!"
>Fluttershy eyed Rainbow Dash "But not going too quickly...by going too quick" then she started fumbling on her own words "What I mean is...by going as fast as you can by...not going too fast...umm...I think."
>Rainbow dash nodded and tried to hurry Fluttershy along "yeah yeah, fast but not going fast got it! seeya soon Fluttershy!"
>Before Fluttershy goes, she floats up towards you and smiles at you "are you ok with this Anon?"
>Rainbow dash gritted her teeth again, it was taking a little too long for her liking.

>You thought about it...you already were pretty much stuck to Rainbow dash. And you didn't want to be a burden on her time but. You really wanted Fluttershy to come. "I dunno"
>Rainbow dash said nothing to this, she didn't want anything to keep things prolonged unless she knew exactly what she said to actually get things going along.
>Fluttershy didn't want to burden Rainbow Dash, and she wanted to make you feel as comfortable as possible. If it came to the point she couldn't convince you, then she'd convince Rainbow Dash to allow her to come along.
>Fluttershy just looked into your eyes with that warming smile and kissed your forehead like she always does "Don't you worry my little Anon, you are in good hooves. I promise, your Aunt Dash is very trustworthy. I promise"
>You reached for her, she came close enough for you to hug her ..ok..but you'll be there waiting for me...right?"
>Fluttershy nodded "of course, where else would I be?"
>Well, probably not naywhere else. She had already agreed to wait at Rainbow dash's house. "o-ok....then..I think I'm ready."
>Rainbow Dash grinned "Yes! finalllllyyy!
>Fluttershy zipped infront of Rainbow Dash to tell her one last time "Remember, not too fast"
>Rainbow Dash resisted the urge to groan "I got it Fluttershy, just be there before I do ok? Got a lot of training exercises I need help with."
>Fluttershy nodded "I'll do my best! I better get going then" she looked at you, floated back up to you and gave you another kiss "I love you Anon, stay safe alright? Don't hesitate to tell your Aunt Dash she's going too fast if she's going too fast ok?"
>You nod, you were still a little nervous, but...what could possibly go wrong? "got it...I love you too ,mom"
>Fluttershy floated up and off to Rainbow Dash's home as she waved to you, you waving back. And while Rainbow Dash waved back aswell, she made no attempt at actually moving.

>"Aunt Dash, I'm sorta nervous...this is my first time really...sorta..flying." you say as you gently grasp her
>Rainbow Dash was just staring at Fluttershy until she was off in the horizon "......hold on"
>now you were confused, she was just standing there, not even replying to you. "Aunt Dash...?"
>"a little more" She was just staring until Fluttershy was no longer in sight "...ok...good"
>You started to get more worried from her words, was she waiting for Fluttershy to leave completely? "Aunt Dash....w-what are you doing?"
>Rainbow dash grinned "Hey Anon, you ready for action?"
>You gulped "I thought I-I was getting a tour of Ponyville..."
>"you are, Rainbow Dash style. You better hold on tight." She began to flap her wings.
>Oh no..s...SHE WOULDN'T! you grasp on tight, starting to feel extremely uneasy "W-wait! what are you gonna do?!?"
>"Fly...." That's all she felt she needed to tell you as she lifted off, slowly at first, and just hovered.
>Oh..OH GEEZ! You grasp on tighter, closing your eyes, suddenly being in the air, your ride being uneasy, even if she's just hovering, was frightening "W-w-Wait! I-I-I-I'm not ready! What if I fall! Were too high!"
>Rainbow Dash looked down, she was barely two feet off the ground. "Wow Anon, are you really that much of a chicken?"
>you shout "W-What do you m-m-mean?! You're going too fast!"
>Rainbow Dash didn't know whether to laugh or groan, But she assumed you had your eyes closed "Anon...open your eyes"
>You very cautiously open your eyes and look down. You could easily see the ground. You gulped ".....o-oh...were not that h-high"
>Rainbow Dash sighed "Anon, ya gotta trust me. Don't you think I know how to fly? I don't know if you know this but I'm the best flyer in Equestria! I'm telling you, you can count on me!"
>You whine "B-but I don't want to fall....I don't.."

>Rainbow Dash again groaned, and started flying small figure eights and shaking about, still keeping low to the ground. You just screamed and kept your eyes shut as she went made a small loop de loop. the sheer terror you felt was quite real. Even if the danger wasn't. "STOOOOOP PLEEASSEEE" you started to cry
>Rainbow Dash stopped, and again hovered a few feet from the ground. "for Celestia's sake, Anon. we haven't even left yet!"

>You open your eyes again......same spot. Then...what was she doing? You sniffed "B-but..what was all that!?..I..I don't wanna go..I want mom..."
>Rainbow Dash sighed and landed "Don't be such a wimp! You didn't fall did you?!"
>You almost tried to get off, but those straps. They kept you in place good. You didn't reply.
>Rainbow Dash yelled "Anon!"
>you stop, still blubbering. "mm-mm..mmm"
>Rainbow Dash started to feel a little guilty "Anon, look. Stop crying ok?It's just...come on, don't you think you're overreacting?"
>You shake, holding back onto her, incase she flew again "I...umm..uhh..It's reall-lly scary...I don't.."
>Rainbow Dash was doing her best to calm you down, she was glad Fluttershy had left. Otherwise this would have turned into such a huge mess. "Anon, look, it's nothing. see?"
>she gently lifts off the ground, as slow as possible. You still grasp tightly. but it's not as frightening as before "mm-mmm"
>Rainbow Dash started thinking, and tries being straightfroward "Anon,why are you so scared?"
>"you start taking deep breaths as you try to calm down. Maybe you were overreacting. But it was such a sudden jolt, and then all that quick flying. it felt like a roller coaster. "It's just...really scary.."
>"But you're still ok right? you didn't fall or anything, and if you had kept your eyes open, you would have noticed I even did a loop de loop, you were upside down. Didn't you feel it?"

>you were? You were upside down while you had your eyes closed? you didn't even notice. You were too busy screaming. But, if she said you did. Then you must have. And yet...
>you tug at your safety bonds. No budge, you were still in place. You try calming down, in the realization you never actually fell. "was I really...upside down?"
>Rainbow Dash nodded "up and down and all around"
>and yet...you didn't fall. you give a few more forceful tugs. Nothing. All that, and you didn't even come close too falling. "and I didn't fall..."
>Rainbow Dash nodded "Duh! you're perfectly safe, I wouldn't let ya fall." Rainbow Dash started to notice you calming down, and tried to throw in a joke "I mean, if I did. could you imagine how mad your mom would be at me? She might just might be able to tear a cake apart."
>You tap at Rainbow dash's head "Mom isn't THAT weak you know." You started to calm down, as you feel a more sense of balance. And realize you never came close to falling.
>Rainbow Dash could feel your prodding,but said nothing about it as she continued doing her best to calm you "Ok ok, hehe. Hey Anon, would you have been that scared if Fluttershy flew you around?"
>You started to think...maybe? no..she probably would have gone super slow "N-no, I don't think so. I think mom would have flown just right."
>"probably, but that probably means she'd go real slow. no sense of danger, and it'd take FOREVER to get anywhere." Rainbow Dash said
>would it? "would it really be that slow?..I-I mean, atleast it'd be safe"
>Rainbow Dash agreed "yup, perfectly safe. But also REAALLLLYYY boring. It might even be faster walking. Come on Anon, don't you want to feel what it's like to fly fast?"
>you shivered "But mom said not to go too fast"
>Rainbow Dash nodded "yup, not TOO fast. But I think I can still go pretty fast. infact, how about we make a deal?"
>"a deal?" you wondered

>"yep, let me give you the tour, my way. And if you can handle it without getting all chicken on me. I'll use my bits from my victory to buy you a whole smorgasbord of delicious stuff from Sugarcube Corner."
>woah....that did....that did sound pretty good "That...sounds pretty good.."
>Rainbow Dash grinned, she was gaining ground. "Yep, not too tough huh? I'll be basically doing all the work anyway.All you gotta do is sit there and enjoy. Now...does that sound so tough?"
>in her words, it didn't. And.....well you had to ask "...umm..how much stuff can I get...if I accept the deal?"
>Rainbow Dash wondered, she didn't need that much of the prize money, she was in it for the chance to be the best And besides, the Cakes would probably appreciate the business. "ALMOST everything"
>Your eyes went wide....that sounded like a lot.
>"ok..you gotta a deal!" your fear, instantly gone in the face of deliciousness.
>Rainbow Dash giggles "Now that's more like it! But Anon, I want you to understand one thing before we go."
>"what's that?" you wondered
>"you gotta stop being such a wimp, I don't expect you to fix that in a night. But take it from your Aunt Dash, if you're scared of everything. You'll never have the courage to do what's right in the face of danger...or something like that"
>you nodded, paying attention to her words more closely since you made the deal. But you had to wonder. "Aunt Dash...have you ever gotten scared?"
>Rainbow Dash hesitated at first, but perhaps the truth would be best now that she has your attention..well..mostly the truth "A few times, it doesn't happen too often. But let me tell you about this one time..."
>She tells you about an incident in Cloudsdale, where Rarity had found herself in a bit of a pickle when she became overzealous in showing off her magical wings, and that she heroically saved the day after getting over her nervousness and fear of screwing up.
>"So, if...wow...I didn't..." you were speechless

>Rainbow Dash snickered "Yeah I know, I'm amazing." she rubbed her front hoof on her chest, acting as if it was easy to do such feats.
>"So Rari...ahrm...Miss Rarity could have?"
>Rainbow dash nodded "yup, went KERSPLAT if I hadn't gotten over jitters and swooped in for the save. I told you Anon, your Aunt Dash is really amazing. Maybe if you work hard, you can be as amazing as I am, hehe. I bet Fluttershy would be super proud of that, huh?"
>be as great as Rainbow Dash? that great? it sounded good. Man, to be a true hero? to make your mother proud? It sounded so good...and by Rainbow Dash's words. Completely doable for you. "Wow...I..I wanna be like that!" You started to feel reinvigorated.
>Rainbow Dash flapped her wings a little faster "That's great to hear Anon, so...ready to go then?"
>"Yes...WAIT!" you realized one last thing "W-what if Mom finds out you went faster than what you were supposed too?"
>Rainbow dash wasn't worried "Well, you aren't gonna tell her that, are you?"
>probably best not too, specially about the deal. She might get upset at both of you "N-no, not me! I won't say a thing"
>Rainbow Dash grinned as she looked to the sky "Good, Now. Let's get going!"
