You close your eyes and think of the void, rejecting for a moment the surly bonds of gravity, floating free, serene and untethered from the world around you.

Reaching into the void, you say, "Devourer, y'there? I'm here. Yer not alone."

Exhaling slowly as he chills the spacesuit even further, you say, "All th'pleasure, all th'pain, all th'sorrow, all th'games..."

Shutting down the alerts on his suit, you say, "Ghosts of love, ghosts of lives, they all lived and passed You by..."

You say, "Ghosts of youth, of misspent age, of empty homes, a... lonely... cage."

Afesotinuilar curls into himself, numb to the cold.

Mumbling into the increasingly stale air, you say, "We call and cry too, weep at the blindness, beg... to be... unburdened... clutch at... kindness."
