- Symphony Of The Night
- aka
- Vampire Fighter II: The Dhampir Warrior
- (Alucard is a Dhampir, half vampire. THATS THE JOKE)
- For Andy
- Intended path
- FLASHBACK > ENTRANCE > DEATH TAKES YOUR CRUD > THOSE TWO BOSSES FROM SUPER CASTLEVANIA 4 ON SNES > CLOCK ROOM (the way down and to the left from clock room leads back to entrance) > FAKE ALUCARD > LIBRARY BUY JEWEL OF OPEN, BE SURE TO GET WOLF FORM + ENABLE ELEVATOR ON THE WAY > GO BACK TO JUST BEFORE THE SNES BOSSES, OPEN DOOR, DO UP THERE + GET THE DOUBLE JUMP > GO BACK TO JUST PAST CLOCK ROOM, GO TO CAVERNS, USE BAT RADAR THING FOR THE DARK ROOM TO GET SPIKE BREAKER ARMOR > WITH BOTH RINGS GO TO CLOCK ROOM, GET SPECS > THRONE ROOM WITH SPECS EQUIPPED, KILL BALL NOT RICHTER TO FOIL THE PLANS OF THE DARK PRIEST CALLED SHAFT > INVERTED CASTLE TOUR, COLLECT DRAC PARTS FROM CERTAIN BOSSES TO UNLOCK ENDGAME IN INVERTED CLOCK ROOM
- You can sequence break with a wolf form related glitch to get up clock tower to the double jump but because of the medusa heads it’s way annoying to go that way. It’s how I did it, but I first played on the jp version so I couldn’t read anything lol
- TRICKS
- You can do spells with a shield equipped, you aren’t locked in place for several frames like if you use a weapon, you’ll just wave the shield if you f things up
- The Family Attack.
- UP, Hadoken
- When you disappear, Left and right you can pass through enemies and stuff. Hold up for meteors. Down to cancel fireballs into a ducking pose.
- Three fireballs that hit once, versus the two meteors that pass through multiple enemies.
- Uses a little magic. 15 points to be exact
- YOUR SOUL IS MINE
- “Soul Steal”
- This one’s a bit more complicated.
- Left, then half circle right to left, right+attack/shield.
- Hits all destroyable candles and enemies multiple times, each thing hit will heal you for 8hp
- *ALL* THE MONEY
- Once you have the sword familiar, you can use this spell to glitch out the inventory for infinite money.
- Half circle from down to right to up, hold up a moment, then down+atk/shield
- NORMALLY what this’ll do is cause the sword familiar to fire off projectiles in all directions but it’s kinda useless for the trouble…
- But during the animation, you have access to the menu if you immediately talk to the librarian to do the shop.
- You go to sell a ring you have one of. Hit the button to open the menu, equip that ring. Sell the ring that you now don’t have in the inventory cause you equipped it. Back out of the sell menu, go back in. Oops, you now have 255 to sell. ONE MILLION DOLLARS.
- OP SHIELD ROD THING
- With any shield equipped with the Shield Rod, hit both attack and shield. There’ll be an animation and you’ll get some sort of buff.
- Do it with the Alucard shield, and the buff is “while you’re holding the shield out, you F everyone up and it heals you” for the most part. Makes the final boss a joke.
- COMPLICATED SEQUENCE BREAKY STUFF YOU CAN SAFELY SKIP
- When you get the wolf, when you transform back to Alucard from wolf form, you’ll be in a state where you can do the dive kick, before you get the double jump. This can be used to get fairy early in library, and get up in the clock room early, but the game expects you to have double jump at that point…
- IF THERES ACHIEVEMENTS THAT CAN USE A “NEW GAME PLUS” SAVE
- There’s a “Duplicator” for sale when you start a new game with a clear save on the memory card with a good enough %. It’s pricey, but if you’ve read this far, you know that money literally doesn’t matter.
- The duplicator, when equipped, nerfs your stats, but consumable items aren’t consumed. So you can spam items like “meal ticket” for a bunch of food items, or “power of sire” to just destroy stuff.
