- SO YOU'RE PLAYING CHEESEBURGER CRUSADE! (or VIWATE, or VIWAM, thanks copyright)
- great! good! it's a fun game that deserves all the support it gets.
- but you may often find yourself confused- where do you get that item? where do you get that? what is King's Stasis? this pastebin by me, awe921, seeks to answer these questions and so much more. think of this as both a GameFAQs and a FAQ at the same time. so it's a Game FAQ(s).
- use CTRL-F to navigate this more efficiently. here's a list of things you can put in to jump from one part of this list to another.
- [RL] - Roles
- [PB] - Permanent Bosses
- [EVB] - Event Bosses
- [CR] - Credits (for this manual)
- [RL] "I beat a boss, how do I get roles?" [RL]
- Post proof of your obtained badge in the #badge-gets channel.
- Currently, badges that provide roles are:
- -- Delinquent Destroyer
- -- Ain't Afraid of No Ghost
- -- Titan Trouncer
- -- Delirium Deluge
- Ego roles are granted under special occasions, such as being the first to beat an event.
- - "Is [...] a bug?"
- -- ... jumping down to the bottom of one of Nightmare's obbies? yep, that's a bug. and it's been known for a while too.
- -- ... still being able to hit an enemy after whiffing an attack a bug? yep, that's also a bug. but nowadays we call it *TECH*. i personally call it "Damage Storage".
- - I can't beat [x]!
- alright, sit down. i'm about to tell you about STRATS.
- [PB] PERMANENT BOSSES [PB]
- [=] BRICKSVILE [=]
- ** Brutal Delinquent **
- assuming you're only armed with the Baseball Bat, the Delinquent will prove to be... not as much of a challenge as you'd think he is.
- he'll eat a hamburger when he first falls below 2000 HP, so he effectively has 5000 HP.
- HOW TO FIND: head behind the Establishment and head towards the right- you'll eventually see a tunnel that leads to the City Crossroads.
- - his kick and backhand are fairly non-threatening. just stay at a safe range and poke at him with the bat while retreating
- - jump when he swings his bat for his melee. this works for both variations.
- - Troublemaker's invincible to damage and his C4 often doesn't end up mattering because of how often Brutal Delinquent can reposition himself, so don't worry too much about him.
- - Rascal is fairly dangerous- he'll kill you in 5 hits. Jump and retreat, zoning him out like how you would do to Delinquent's kick and backhand.
- - you CAN'T OUTRUN Delinquent's tornado spin move, it *will* get you and start clobbering you if you start running too late or are too close. thankfully, you can look out for it's massive startup.
- -- if you're not somewhat familiar with when Delinquent's tornado move will end, you should play it safe and not get too close to the tornado attack. this is even more true in his Phase 2 variation- the tornado's size dramatically increases!
- -- delinquent's spin move travels roughly over half of the distance it would take to run from one healing pad to another.
- - delinquent's spike attack and shockwaves are fairly easy to dodge, but be on guard for their increased speed in Phase 2.
- ** Emerald Eyetheral **
- the Emerald Eyetheral can prove to be quite the roadblock, with their ability to summon mobs and complicated projectiles.
- don't think that it's over just by depleting his healthbar- a much tougher second phase is waiting just around the corner!
- HOW TO FIND: head to the right of the establishment, through the parking lot- you should see a statue of a player called Kubusole. go past him, and you should find an entrance to the Rundown Graveyard. head into there to begin the fight.
- - try to not jump when he fires the homing balls- it will cause them to go into the ground, making seeing them impossible.
- - the dark green orb that explodes is completely harmless by itself, so only focus on dodging the explosion. it gains the ability to spit out 4 homing orbs in Phase 2, making it significantly more dangerous
- - if the bullet hell is giving you trouble, jump onto a tall enough gravestone- the ones with the round tops and you should be able to completely avoid it.
- - the dual eye barrage is aimed at you- keep moving in one direction to avoid it.
- - grabbing the spirit orbs dropped by the undead heals you, but this healing is reduced in Phase 2.
- - the Undead in phase 1 are fairly more dangerous than the Scoundrel- they'll down you in 3 hits instead of the Scoundrel's 5, and they spawn in groups of 3. thankfully, you can down them with 1 hit, but they have just enough health to survive a bat swing in Phase 2 as True Undeads.
- - the Reanimated Knight's attacks can be dodged by backing away or jumping, or both.
- - if he starts moving from his gravestone, that means he'll cause a straight line of quakes- move to the side. he'll repeat this in Phase 2, so stay on guard!
- - if all else fails, fight the Meat Titan instead and obtain the Pipe from him- it'll down the True Undead in one hit and a Reanimated Knight in 5 hits.
- ** Meat Titan **
- the impervious Meat Titan is the Hard boss of Bricksvile, and he earns that title by being a force to reckon with. don't hesitate to use the environment to your advantage!
- HOW TO FIND: head behind the Establishment and head towards the LEFT instead- if you see a giant, ominous pit that's helpfully labeled The Pit, jump into it.
- - don't be afraid to use the high ground at the arena's edges to your advantage, as it protects you from several attacks he can do. be warned that he can climb up the arena's edges too!
- -- you can stay around the edges of the high ground in order to make Meat Titan repeatedly melee. he WILL inch closer every time he does this though, so don't expect it to be a solution that lasts forever.
- - focus on the rushers when it comes to dealing with the mobs- the other ones are too slow to be of much concern, and they will eventually despawn anyways.
- -- the rushers are too fast to be dodged by backing away, so time your jumps right to dodge their swings.
- - the Meat Titan's projectiles all slightly aim to the left- strafe to your right or the Titan's left in order to dodge the meatball and the boulder.
- - the meatball permanently slows you down upon hit, while the boulder is instant death.
- ** Nightmare **
- the elusive Nightmare hides away from the world, but they wont hesitate to fight back if necessary.
- HOW TO FIND: use the key on the wall behind Ghost Sam, who is by the campfire.
- - at the start of the second obby, you should be able to find a shard (look for a faint purple glow). obtain it in order to spare Nightmare and obtain Hidden Badge Type A.
- - the spinners move towards you at faster or slower speeds depending on how far or close you are to them respectively. keep that in mind when timing to jump over them.
- - try your best to keep moving forward while trying to avoid the spinners in the third obby- you WILL get hit by them, so try to spend as little time risking getting smacked by them as possible
- - the arc is buggy- you might need to spam Q to use it, but it's 500 damage is more than worth it.
- -- oh yeah, you have an arc attack when you have the sword equipped. it's keyboard exclusive though, so i'm sorry to any mobile users reading this.
- - his overhead swing can be dodged by strafing to the right, but his instant death blast (the super glitchy looking projectile that instakills you) is dodged to the left.
- - the eyeball makes dodging exponentially harder and makes meleeing Nightmare far riskier. it's up to you whether you want to stick to using arc slashes when the eyeball is out or keep doing what you're doing.
- - PLAY IT SAFE on his final phase (where he starts glitching). he's losing health quickly, and you should use arc slashes to add on the damage.
- - back away from the pillar attack whenever you see it coming in order to give yourself as much time to dodge the bullets as possible.
- [EVB] EVENT BOSSES [EVB]
- [=] HALLOWEEN [=]
- ** Warden's Valley **
- - the Warden's pathfinding got busted some time ago, so the threat he poses is sorta gone. SORTA. he'll still catch you if you're not cautious.
- ** Hardmode Valley **
- - IT (the red dude that goes USURURHDFUU RURRRRURRRRRR and goes at lightspeed) gets faster for every torch
- - a new enemy, The Toll (the one that goes AEUUEUGHHHHHHH) will appear near the exit once all of the torches are lit. it's main gimmick is that it charges at you.
- other than that idk man just try to not shit yourself
- ** Wicked Woods **
- - the Executioner's axe is instant death. don't try to tank it.
- - the ramp at the start of the obby section actually sucks. keep it in mind when jumping off into an obby section.
- - try *not* to spend too much time on the section before the boss fight- a terrible enemy has a chance to spawn, and he may be more dangerous than Redback himself. if he does spawn, know that he combines two attacks at once for all of his attacks.
- - Redback's webs will inflict a permanent slowing debuff when stepped on.
- ** Sir Frightsworth **
- - in his second phase, he'll summon 2 minibosses (a blue and pink ball respectively) to aid him. kill them at all costs- they will heal him, and defeating them will deal damage to Frightsworth.
- [=] CHRISTMAS [=]
- ** Flurry & The Frost Raiding Party **
- Flurry and the raiding party of frost folks are attacking! take up your arms with your new Crossbow, the ranged weapon of the hour.
- - head to the spawning point as soon as possible and DO NOT mess up at the start of the battle (i.e. die)! this strategy is entirely the fault of the Frost Warlock, which should be your highest priority target. they're able to spawn enemies, and they can stack up until they snowball (ha) into a near unstoppable cluster of iceballs and enemy after enemy.
- - the hitbox on a Frost Pummeler's fist lasts far more longer than it appears. hit the fist with your bat or weapon instead to safely damage it.
- - at the middle point of the raid, the Frost Goliath will appear as a mid-boss. do not get hit by his axe as it's instant death- play it safe and exploit Damage Storage with the pipe to safely hit and run him. his shoulder snowball cannon and his icicle attack are independent of his melee swing, so don't risk it while the cannon is firing or if you'll eat an icicle.
- - if you're low on lives, keep to the back and use the Crossbow to help deal damage from a safe distance. similarly, use the crossbow if you're not confident in dodging the Frost Goliath up close.
- - Flurry is a fairly easy boss, as you're a whole team of people (and I don't doubt that some of your team has event items), but here's some hints regardless
- -- it's a possible strategy to let the Frost Rebels that spawn alongside you shoot down Flurry while you distract him. watch out for Flurry's melee. it can be dodged by simply walking to the right/counter-clockwise.
- -- his snowball cannon barrage is a more intense version of his icicle gun blast, but it can still be dodged by constantly heading in one side.
- ** Trykhor **
- the snow golem Trykhor stands in the way between you and the salvation of Christmas, and he intends to stay there.
- - the pipe is only good for damage storage as the sword deals damage faster than it. whiff a swing with it intentionally when he spin attacks or starts firing icicles from his head, and then run up to him for some very late damage.
- - Trykhor's first two slash waves can be dodged individually, but the followups in Phase 2 are timed so that you need to hold space to dodge both waves, since otherwise you don't jump fast enough or you have to be SUPER precise.
- - don't stand on his head while he's spin attacking! you'll slip off, and be unable to get back up, ultimately costing you a life.
- - at a low enough HP (around 2000), he'll begin charging up a final attack. this is indicated by him saying "You leave me no choice." do NOT be fooled by the sound effect- it's not an explosion, it's an endless bullet hell attack, similar to HOURS' Bloxxerman.
- -- use both the pipe and the sword when he begins charging up his final attack- whiff with the pipe to Damage Storage, and equip & whiff again with it every now and then between sword slashes.
- -- even if he starts firing, it's not over- do NOT hesitate to try and run for him if you don't manage to kill him on time. damage-storage with the pipe and land as much sword swings as you can before you inevitably fall.
- * The Silent Night
- welcome to one of VIWAM's biggest challenges. the Silent Night. a gauntlet of 3 levels of varying flavors.
- HOW TO FIND: first, head behind one of the towers in the town and press down the Peculiar Switch to open up a wall behind the town. grab the Strange Key hidden behind it.
- next, find a PlaceID inscribed in the town's walls. everything you need to access Silent Night is within the town- no need to look out into the battlefield.
- if you don't want to find the placeID here's the place itself. https://www.roblox.com/games/11618074010/Silent-Night
- ** Factorial Blues
- a fairly simple ball puzzle- push a ball from Point A to Point B, until you stumble across the first "impossible" pink block.
- - there are invisible paths everywhere! those large maps at the side indicate where they are.
- - TREAD CAREFULLY. the first release of Factorial Blues had the possibility for balls to be launched out or for you to walk off them. nowadays, invisible walls exist, but still exercise some caution.
- - the balls are best handled when you push them with your back, not your front.
- - you can skip the "impossible" pink block area as the pink block doesn't block anything by itself & the ball only opens up a gate that leads to said pink block.
- ** Quiet Woods
- walk through a quiet path in the woods. you are not alone, however.
- - the camera cools down for a while, but it lasts for quite some time, making timing it rather lenient.
- - near the end, you will encounter a Shivergeist that turns purple upon being flashed for the first time. you may notice that music started playing. you should start running.
- -- he will continually rush towards you, and the flash will only temporarily stop him. keep moving, do NOT stop moving and be prepared to flash at any possible moment.
- -- keep looking towards the Shivergeist at all costs and moonwalk to victory, flashing him as he makes each charge towards you. if you lose track, quickly orient yourself with the arrows on the floor.
- - if you get turned into the Shivergeists' greatest feast, you can return to Quiet Woods immediately through the warp zone that should have opened up.
- other than that, the same strategy for Hardmode Valley applies- don't shit yourself.
- ** The Sanctuary
- in the deepest parts of your dream, Trykhor is raring for a rematch against y- oh nevermind he's dead.
- - you're unable to see the health of this mysterious challenger, but keep battering him and dodging his melees.
- upon taking enough damage, the real boss, Azurewrath reveals himself.
- - if you need to make a quick getaway, simply dashing wont cut it. dash THEN jump in a quick succession to perform a DASHJUMP, sending you flying at a MASSIVE distance.
- -- you can bunnyhop (hold space) to squeeze a little bit more distance out of the dashjump.
- -- by jumping 1/3rd of a second after the dash, you can perform a LATEDASHJUMP, which still sends you flying, but not as far.
- - the arc still works by Nightmare rules- inconsistent and rather buggy, so spam Q if you intend on using it.
- - if you hear a sound effect during his stomp attack, jump quickly- that is his fast stomp, with both the shockwave and the windup being incredibly fast
- - in his orb blast attack, cyan orbs are normal- blue orbs quickly lock in towards you, and pink ones home into you before locking in and flying towards you.
- - he follows a pattern- he'll unleash a series of attacks, before falling back to melee only to "recharge". if you intend on meleeing him, this is your biggest chance.
- - please don't forget to grab the gift of silent night after beating him. it should be around where Trykhor died.
- -- if you somehow miss it, it'll reappear in the Silent Night hub
- [=] APRIL FOOLS 2023 [=]
- * Studded Strife
- the forces of a Banlandian are rallying against the denizens of the Studded Lands, and YOU (and a team of up to 4 other people) are caught up inbetween it. this event will demand *teamwork* above all else, so my first piece of advice is to communicate with others.
- - decide on who should buy what upgrade and gather up the cash needed for said upgrades. otherwise, the money pool will likely become too thinned out- everybody has money, but nobody has enough money to buy anything.
- -- if the person who's trying to get money is too far away to collect dropped cash, don't be afraid to pocket it for yourself! it's better to have some cash in hand than to let it be wasted. you can even sort of "rotate" which person is getting the cash based on who has the most amount of points at the moment.
- - it's possible to skip Weaponry A(lpha). securing Omega before Doom.
- -- these are some of the more important upgrades you should be getting.
- - Weaponry Alpha - before Kleosean Duo. they'll work just fine for Destiny.
- - Weaponry Omega - before D.O.O.M. since the damage output is *needed* to beat D.O.O.M.'s time limit mechanic.
- - Walkspeed Omega - to reliably run away from Shia Kazing, who spawns after D.O.O.M.
- - and of course, Health- all 3 ranks are good picks, though you'll want it maxed out like everything else by the time you face the final boss.
- (now since i didn't list Invul, you must assume it's an useless upgrade, right?... well no, you don't get a forcefield when spawning in Studded Strife, so things can snowball into a rather nasty situation. Invul helps you give time to prepare yourself. it's simply just overshadowed by the immediate and obvious benefits of Health, Speed and especially Weaponry.)
- ngl the advice at the Cheeseburger Crusade wikia covers more general advice so i'll link to it there. they also have more comprehensive info, so i'll focus on the bosses. https://cheeseburger-crusade.fandom.com/wiki/Studded_Strife
- speaking of, it's time to talk about the bosses!! hooray
- ** KLEOSEAN DUO
- - focus on the Peacekeeper first. the Ravager has the ability to heal himself, but the Peacekeeper's projectiles are deadly, especially this early in the game.
- -- you could... *theoretically* kill Peacekeeper and bait Ravager in order to repeatedly stall for enemies to farm for cash. i haven't tested this, but.
- - it may be wise to separate both the Peacekeeper and Ravager from one another.
- ** DESTINY
- the middle point of the game- Destiny is right before the game takes its gloves fully off.
- - Weaponry Alpha can still work against Destiny, so if you are feeling confident you can skip getting Beta and go straight to Omega as mentioned previously.
- - DO NOT let the Egg Hunters stack. it's a similar situation to the Frost Warlocks. it may be smart to designate someone to killing the Egg Hunters off.
- - the yellow eggs will home into you at alarming speeds, so be prepared to dodge out of the way at any moment's notice.
- ** D.O.O.M.
- this is it. the DPS check. Weapons Omega is basically mandatory for this battle, because D.O.O.M. has an unique passive...
- up in the skies, a satellite's charge is counting up.
- * Part 2
- somewhere, the last of the cruel Teapot Tyrants remains sealed. locked behind 4 teapots- of which only 3 are needed to open the door.
- ... buuuut if you don't wanna do the whole puzzle, here's the Discord link to me linking the 2 games you'll need to find.
- ** Adurite Mineshaft
- yeah no this ain't even like Quiet Woods. the monster does not Do Anything other than kick you at the end. grab the core which is hidden somewhere around the bridge area, put it in, head to the opened door, push a button there, then call it a day as you head back to the bridge and secure an Adurite Teapot.
- ** Pottery Prison
