- Sprint was overall a good place to work. Even after you got laid off. Sprint was a bad profit-making entity. Even before you got laid off.

- But a successful modern telecom company is a modern high-tech company. Populated with modern high-tech employees. At Sprint the culture was moribund. And that culture was foreseeably fatal.
