While we've been spending time apart, I've realized how much I need you. I've known for quite a while, but now I know that I can't go without telling you.

I need you so badly. You mean more to me than anyone else ever could.

I need you in every way imaginable. I need your touch, your kind words, your hugs, your laugh, your support; I need every bit of you.

As much as some of that need is sexual, like the need for you to pin me to the bed and make love to me; to use me for your pleasure, there are so many other reasons I need you.

You're always so comforting when I tell you about problems. You know exactly how to calm me down and take care of me, and you keep me safe in your arms, and then do whatever you can to help.

But, you're also vulnerable with me. You let me see the side of you that no one else gets to see. You talk about the things that terrify you, and the things you feel you can't handle, and you let me be your comfort against those things. You let me take care of you.

And on those nights that one of us feels like we can't stand to be alone, we cuddle one another, and we're there for each other in a way that no one else is.

You look at me like no one else. I can see the love in your eyes every time you glance my way, and how your face lights up whenever you're with me. I always catch you smiling when you think I'm not looking.

I wonder if you see the smiles I can't help but have when around you. The way I look at you whenever you do things that would be mundane if anyone else did them, but when you do them, it never fails to make me smile and fall even deeper in love with you.

You are so many things to me. My protector. My friend. My love. My treasure. My world.

I need you like I need air, or food, or water. You are what holds me together, what builds me back up when I'm broken, and what makes me whole.

But as much as I want to beg for you to come back, I know I don't need to do that to get you to. Because I know you need me as much as I need you.

I love you. I need you. I am yours.
