[21:42]	* Kalinka	leads Phrine out of the gun shop, and heads back several stores until they reach the bakery.
[21:51]	* Phrine	is floating along in a slightly more joyful ignorant bliss than usual.
[21:54]	<Phrine>	"S-so, uhh... how've you been~?"
[21:58]	* Phrine	is the absolute best at casual conversation!
[22:02]	<Kalinka>	Have been busy, until lately.
[22:02]	* Kalinka	is looking over the cakes in the window display, but she's not certain which would be best.
[22:03]	* Phrine	helps!
[22:05]	<Phrine>	"Oh, the, the pink one~! Pink is the best of colors~!"
[22:05]	* Phrine	is clearly not biased.
[22:09]	* Kalinka	snorts in amusement, but nods, and heads inside with Phrine, rubbing her hands to keep warm. She'll need to pick up a better pair of gloves, soon.
[22:14]	* Kalinka	signals to somebody who looks in-charge-shaped, and asks him to box up the pink cake Phrine so clearly favored.
[22:15]	* Phrine	smells the smells of the bakery. It smells so... lively~
[22:20]	* Phrine	just leans against the wall and relaxes. She loves places like this, even though she's not supposed to...
[22:21]	<GMOwen>	[The man is all too happy to do so. Within about five or ten minutes, the cake is carefully placed into a box, and then wrapped up with a neat bow (also pink)]
[22:23]	* Kalinka	looks it over, and deems it adequate. When asked politely how she will be paying, however...
[22:24]	<Kalinka>	Ah, had only come in to have look around. Was much interested in large pink cake in window last few days, but has been already bought yesterday.
[22:26]	* Phrine	vaguely pays attention to the transaction. Kalinka said she'd be taking care of it, after all!
[22:27]	<GMOwen>	[The baker looks at her, then nods, and gives her a smile.]
[22:27] <GMOwen>	Baker: "Ah, that's right, miss. A banker came in and bought it yesterday for his wife. I really should put something else in its place... Won't do to leave a hole there, would it?"
[22:28]	<GMOwen>	[The baker laughs, and then gets back to work, apparently missing the large box in Kalinka's hands.]
[22:28]	* Kalinka	turns to Phrine, and gives her a smile.
[22:29]	<Kalinka>	All done here~ Shall we find other friends, now?
[22:32]	* Phrine	comes back to reality, maybe...
[22:32]	<Phrine>	"Oh? S'all paid for an' everything~?"
[22:36]	<Kalinka>	"And everything," yes. Money is burden of lesser folk.
[22:37]	* Kalinka	has had to keep herself and Phrine out of the man's head since walking in, so she's not particularly worried about being overheard. Nevertheless...
[22:37]	<Kalinka>	Would prefer to discuss elsewhere.
[22:39]	* Phrine	nods.
[22:40]	* Phrine	frowns as she thinks about "money".
[22:40]	* Kalinka	And so they leave the shop, richer by one cake.
[22:40]	<Phrine>	"Awwhh... Why'd ya have to r'mind me about money...?"
[22:41]	<Phrine>	"...Letty said I should get a job..."
[22:42]	* Kalinka	looks at her strangely.
[22:44]	<Kalinka>	You are no longer human, da? Job is not necessary.
[22:45]	* Phrine	tilts her head, unsure.
[22:45]	* Kalinka	is gambling on the non-human bit, but not by much. It's a pretty safe bet.
[22:46]	<Phrine>	"Y-Yeah, but... I, don't do much of much as it is..."
[22:46]	<Phrine>	"I mean, maybe I SHOULD do... something."
[22:53]	<Kalinka>	Perhaps take up hobby. Find interest.
[22:54]	<Kalinka>	Is good, keeping hands busy; will keep boredom from driving mad yourself.
[22:56]	* Phrine	really doesn't know what she's saying.
[22:57]	<Phrine>	"Oh, I'm not mad, I'm just fine~"
[23:02]	<Kalinka>	Meant 'insane' type of mad.
[23:02]	<Kalinka>	Will happen sooner or later. Weight of years grows heavy.
[23:03]	* Phrine	shrugs.
[23:03]	* Kalinka	is speaking about this in a sort of conversational tone, and probably not lending it the seriousness it deserves. It probably isn't helping her point any.
[23:05]	<Phrine>	"Ahh, that doesn't matter~ No one could tell."
[23:07]	* Phrine	is always not caring about lacks of seriousness.
[23:11]	* Kalinka	shrugs. Maybe she'll talk to some of her companions later about the whole thing.
[23:11]	<Kalinka>	Perhaps.
[23:14]	* Phrine	has already forgotten about getting a job.
[23:17]	<Phrine>	"How long are you staying this time, then...?"
[23:17]	<Phrine>	"Longer than last time?"
[23:20]	* Kalinka	turns to her and grins.
[23:23]	<Kalinka>	As long as I am tolerated. May have work, and be gone now and again, but would much enjoy having people at home to come to.
[23:24]	* Phrine	scratches her head.
[23:24]	<Phrine>	"Wait... wazzat mean~?"
[23:25]	* Kalinka	sighs, and stops walking. She reaches up on tiptoes, and pats Phrine's head.
[23:26]	<Kalinka>	As long as you want.
[23:30]	* Phrine	smiles and runs her fingers through Kalinka's hair.
[23:30]	<Phrine>	"M'kay~"
[23:31]	* Kalinka	enjoys that more than she dares let it be known.
