- A lost white dove trills out a delighted warble as she rejoins the Flock of Miracles, now soaring among
- 60 shimmering celestial doves.
- As the last of the lost doves returns to the Flock of Miracles, the Thalassos below them begins to
- thrum with power. One by one, the shimmering doves circle the vast pool with their glorious song, until
- the waters glisten with a dazzling radiance.
- Accompanied by a rhythmic flapping of gills, Stellar Scholar Qoivhae Vivalde, the Royal Curator says,
- "No more collapsing please."
- Qoivhae gives a pained sigh.
- The Thalassos's waters radiate a cleansing beacon of Light as the Flock of Miracles takes to the skies
- above New Celest, soaring out to the expanse of the Inner Sea.
- Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, you say, "There."
- Comprehension flashes across Ciuvi's face.
- Aeral nods her head emphatically.
- (Celest): Ciuvi says, "I think we did it!"
- Romaan enters from the up, emanating an aura of immense power.
- (Celest): Ciuvi says, "All is well!"
- Hundreds and hundreds of doves descend from the city of New Celest upon the waters of the Inner Sea,
- which shimmer with luminous light at their angelic song. The waves shift and turn in answer to the
- Flock of Miracles, their very tides changing at the beckon of their heavenly song.
- Slinking in from the ether, a platinum furred lioness cautiously takes in her surroundings.
- Ciuvi claps her hands together merrily.
- King Aknarin Stormcrow, Worker of Waves says, "Did it work?"
- Then as abruptly as the Flock of Miracles descended, the doves return to the skies, and a giant quake
- ripples throughout all of Lusternia: for the waters of the Inner Sea have begun to rise.
- "Ooohhhhhhhhhh," says Aknarin.
- Utterly entranced, Ciuvi emits a long "Ooooh."
- Opening their mouth wide, Qoivhae gapes in wonder.
- "Wow!" Romaan exclaims!
- The waters rise higher and higher, manifesting into an impossibly mighty tidal wave which curls upon
- itself to the towering height of a mountaintop.
- "Wow!" Ciuvi exclaims!
- Gabe claps her hands together merrily.
- Romaan nods his head at Aeral.
- Aeral Ladyn, Lady of the Maelstrom asks, "Everyone have waterbreathe?"
- With a dream-like echoing resound, Duchess Gabe Ladyn, The Royal Vizier murmurs, "Water to put out a
- fire."
- Sir Romaan D'Varden, Knight of the Paladins says, "It helps to be merian."
- Yet when the tidal wave reaches its height, the wave does not descend. Instead, the wave holds and
- shifts, transforming into the most frightening water elemental the Basin of Life has ere beheld.
- A wry smile spreads across Aeral's face.
- King Aknarin Stormcrow, Worker of Waves says, "I do hope you can all swim..."
- Aeral Ladyn, Lady of the Maelstrom says, "Ohhhh."
- "Ooohhhhhhhhhh," says Ciuvi.
- Father Talkan La'Saet, High Priest of Methrenton says, "Hopefully Magnagora doesn't know how."
- Aknarin's eyes sparkle with amusement at Talkan.
- Gabe smirks at Talkan.
- Opening his mouth wide, Romaan gapes in wonder.
- The gargantuan water elemental twists abruptly, rolling forth two more glistening waves that serve as
- his arms as he reaches towards the sky. With a slash, the cold water cuts through the clouds until a
- piercing cry rings out as the elemental drags a blackened dragon into the sea.
- Ciuvi nods her head at Talkan.
- "Wow!" Ciuvi exclaims!
- Aknarin cheers wildly!
- Gabe stares in awe, her cheeks clasped between her hands, her eyes glowing a celestial green.
- "Woot!" Romaan shouts excitedly.
- Ciuvi raises a fist into the air and shouts, "Woohoo!!!"
- "Huzzah!" Romaan shouts triumphantly.
- With a furious screech, the blackened dragon writhes out of the elemental's grip, her mouth aflame with
- indignation. The two majestic titans - one of fire, and one of water - circle one another as the
- dragon's wings bear her over the waves, neither cowed by the other.
- And then, the blackened dragon strikes.
- Gabe gives a horrified gasp.
- Romaan gives a horrified gasp.
- Ciuvi gives a horrified gasp.
- Mist blankets the Inner Sea as an endless corona of flames strikes the gargantuan water elemental,
- sizzling into harmless droplets of water and air. Furious, the blackened dragon strikes the water
- elemental with flame again, and again - until finally the world is shrouded in mist, enveloping both
- creatures so that only their shadows betray the battle between them.
- Talkan furros his brow.
- Ciuvi curls her nose up and grimaces awfully.
- Aknarin sweats profusely and wrings their hands nervously.
- Ciuvi squints intensely.
- Storm clouds thunder above the Inner Sea as the titans clash, crackling with lightning and squalls.
- Then a single bolt illuminates the final, triumphant scene of this battle.
- Clasping her hands together, Aeral Ladyn, Lady of the Maelstrom says, "Light will always prevail."
- Gabe grips hold of Aknarin's arm, her face blanched of colour.
- Qoivhae clasps his hands in prayer.
- Romaan snaps to attention zealously, his posture an example of perfect military discipline.
- Choking in the vice of its tentacle-like grip, the blackened dragon twists angrily in the elemental's
- watery arms. The once mighty wings of the dragon have been pinned to her sides, and though she breathes
- fire again and again, it is to no avail. Her captor does not fear flame.
- Ciuvi closes her eyes and inhales deeply, absorbing the scent of her surroundings.
- Utterly entranced, Romaan emits a long "Ooooh."
- Muffled laughter echoes from somewhere outside.
- Ciuvi's eyes raise to the heavens as a look of hope flashes across her face.
- Talkan cheers wildly!
- The world does not end in fire for the blackened dragon. Instead, her eyes reveal her terror as the
- water elemental drags his victim deep, deep within the Inner Sea. Though the surface of the waves
- shifts and turns with the dragon's distress, after several long, agonizing moments, they calm once
- more.
- Lady Jarana Farain nods her head serenely to Aeral, a faint smile upon her lips as she watches the
- vision taken on life.
- Neither the water elemental, nor the blackened dragon ever re-emerge.
