Thoughts on Slosher Deco

Ok so this is one of the weapons I've been looking forward to the most. Back when the list of unused weapons was posted, I was hype as hell for the Slosher Deco. Splash Wall and Kraken, how could you not love that combo? Now that it is out, I'm as happy as I thought I'd be. Some people were thinking that adding walls would make the Slosher a lot better but the normal Slosher was fine with Burst Bombs. Sadly the normal Slosher also had Inkstrike which is one of the least helpful specials in most ranked modes. The Slosher Deco is great and Splash Walls do help as just about any weapon could use some quick cover and the best part of it, the Kraken. The normal Slosher was used for Burst Bombs but it's special was often ignored, now with a better special, there will most likely be more Slosher Decos then normal Slosher. People love Burst Bombs but without a good special the Slosher is basically just a Burst Bomb weapon and nothing else.

So after playing with it for around 2 hours I can say that it's very good. Sadly the rotation was Rainmaker on Heights and Bridge. Those maps are fine and all but Kraken isn't very helpful on Bridge, it's fine on Heights but of course we played Bridge more often than Heights. The Splash Wall was nice for throwing down to protect my friends who were Super Jumping in and placing walls to save us from the Rainmaker explosion. I don't have to say anything about Kraken, the Kraken speaks for itself. It's always nice and is good on anything you put it on. I was a little upset over the lack of other teams using it. In the 2 hour span we played, we only came across 3 other Slosher Decos. And those 3 weren't full teams of them but 3 different teams with at least one Slosher Deco. S/S+ people seem to not like memeing that much which is disappointing.

The Slosher Deco will actually be able to go toe to toe with weapons such as the .52 Gal and even the .96 Gal. Both can throw walls but the Slosher can slosh over the walls, something that the Gals can't do as easily. The Gals can shoot over and try to get the shots to fall down and kill but by that point the Slosher would have already gotten the 2 hits it needed. It will be able to counter both the .52 and .96, it won't be a hard counter to the .96 Gal as the .96 can just step back and still have range over the Slosher, the .52 Gal can't really do that as the Slosher can still compete with it's range.

All in all, I like it. I will absolutely be using this weapon a lot. The set is too good to ignore and who doesn't like killing people with a bucket?
