  2. Mito 12
  3. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  4. Mito is notably less energetic than she usually is. One of the ladies at the housing complex tries to greet her with a "good morning". After Mito doesn't answer, the lady tries again, startling her. She asks why Mito's been staring at the ground, wondering if she's still looking for a four leaf clover.
  5. Mito replies that she hasn't found a single one.
  6.
  7. Apparently, Reira explained to Mito some of the things that happened. About witches, magical girls, things that seem like they're from a fairy tale. Although Seika didn't say anything about her circumstances, Mito more or less got what happened to Reira.
  8. Reira was possessed by a witch and jumped off the roof. Seika used her wish to save Reira. But Seika didn't want Reira to remember that stuff happened. Mito understands why. No one would want memories of themselves dying.
  9. Seika tried to shoulder everything on her own, without getting the other two girls involved. So naturally, Seika was mad that day.

  11. Seika 12
  12. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  13. Through a flashback, we find out what happened the day Reira died. Seika was part of the library committee at school, so she came home a little later than usual. Mito was sick at home with a fever. Then, Seika sees Reira acting strangely in the housing complex and follows her up to the roof, only to watch in horror as Reira jumps off. As she's grieving/in shock at what just happened, Kyuubey comes up to her. She heard that she could have a wish granted, and makes the wish to revive Reira, turning Seika into a magical girl.
  14. Seika didn't want either of them to learn the horrifying event that happened that day, nor does she want them to learn of the frightening existence known as witches. It's because they're both her dear friends and they saved her from suffering of loneliness.
  15.
  16. The president of the housing association greets her good morning. He voices his relief that the suspicious person incident was resolved, and that he'll be taking down the posters now. But Seika knows that the incident still isn't really over. The president then asks if she knows that Mito's family will be moving and tells her about his idea of holding a farewell party for them.

  21. Meanwhile, Reira thinks about Mito's bad news and Mito's mom's explanation that they (Mito's mom and dad) decided to move because of all the incidents happening around the housing complex. Further, Mito will have to change schools too, because they'll be moving to a place that will make it difficult to commute. Mito's mom tries to make it sound positive, by telling her that it's a new environment so she'll get along with other kids. Naturally though, it doesn't make Mito feel any less shocked, nor does it make her excited in any way, shape, or form.
  22. Mito explains that she's against the idea of moving, since they won't be able to see each other as often as they did now. And yet her two friends are arguing/fighting. Mito tells them that she wants them to make up with each other and to explain what's going on.
  23.
  24. Reira's monologue explains that she tries to explain to Mito, but Seika wasn't able to. After staring at the two of them for a while, she ended up leaving without saying anything.
  25.
  26. >Reira: (Seika... I don't see her... Mito too...) What should I do...? (I wonder if I ended up doing something stupid... But...I...)
  27.
  28. Reira lets out a shout in frustration, startling her neighbor. The lady asks what happened and Reira quickly assures her that nothing happened, leaving before the lady can ask again.
  29. As she runs off, Reira wonders what'll end up happening to the three of them.
  30.
  31. [Although you don't get any choices in the story itself via dialogue, the story map branches out to three different stories.
  32. Reira 15 and Seika 13 lead to the next part of the story, while Mito 13 leads to its own route. I'll start with Reira 15/Seika 13 -> ]
  33.

  35. Reira 15
  36. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  37. Reira's now at school, staring out the window. Her classmates make this observation and just assume she's spacing out as usual. One of them happily informs Reira that they'll have independent study in their next class, since their teacher is sick and they have a substitute one.
  38. The classmates notice that Reira isn't very enthusiastic and ask if she's okay. Reira claims she's just tired so they tell her to take it easy, not knowing that she's actually conflicted over all the drama happening in the housing complex and also the memory of the scenery she saw when she regained her memories of "that moment". But there's still something bothering her. Some part of her memory still isn't clear. And she hasn't seen Kyuubey since she contracted.
  39.
  40. But right now, she has things she needs to take care of. Seika and Mito, and of course, her duty to fight as a magical girl. She can't let Seika keep fighting by herself anymore.
  41.
  42. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  43. Seika 13
  44. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  45. Seika is silently thinking to herself. Her two classmates have been watching her from a distance. They wonder if something happened.
  46. Seika's completely oblivious to them. She's wondering what she should do. She wants to go back to being friends with Reira again, but she still can't forgive her for forming a contract. She understands why Reira did it, and she even predicted that if Reira knew the truth, that things would turn out this way.
  47. But Seika didn't want her to get involved precisely because Reira is such a caring, kind-hearted, beloved friend. And yet...
  48.
  49. Kyuubey told Seika that she should team up with Reira and fight witches together. But Seika can't do that. But unless they fix their relationship, Mito will...
  50.
  51. Seika remains conflicted, sighing to herself, which startles her classmates. One apologizes and the other scolds her, asking what she's apologizing for. Seika sighs, ignoring them. For now, what she should do is......
  52.
  53. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  54. Reira 16
  55. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  56. Reira got a message from Mito, asking if they could go home together. Reira replies that she has something else she has to do today. She feels guilty for turning Mito down, but she doesn't want to meet Mito for some reason.
  57. She feels bad for causing Mito to worry because of the drama happening between her and Seika. Reira silently apologizes to Mito, but she doesn't know what she's doing and should be doing anymore.
  58.
  59. When she arrived home, she senses the presence of a witch via her soul gem. Since Seika's been fighting by herself for all this time, Reira's determined to do her fair share. Reira follows the reaction to the shopping district and realizes that that's what Seika was doing there.
  60.
  61. Suddenly, she realizes that Seika is there as well. They're both surprised to see each other there.
  62.
  63. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  64. Seika 14
  65. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  66. Seika also got a call from Mito, but wasn't able to answer. She didn't know what to say, for one. For another, she didn't want Mito to know about magical girls and witches either. She knew that she should tell Mito everything, and that not telling her anything would only make Mito worry more, but she couldn't since she was scared of getting Mito involved.
  67. She emphasizes that she's well aware that it's her turn to explain to the two of them. But she can't. She's well aware that she's a coward and a weak person who can't talk to others.
  68.
  69. At home, Seika senses a witch and goes to fight it, only to run into Reira. There's an awkward silence. Reira finally breaks the silence and explains that she followed the reaction here. Another awkward pause. Reira tries to say something to Seika, who interrupts her. The barrier appears and a familiar attacks Reira. Seika tells her to transform after doing so herself. Seika's upset, since it seems like things will end up the way Kyuubey said. This is the opposite of what she wants. But they need to defeat the familiar.
  70.
  71. [Options:
  72.
  73. A) Fight it alone
  74. B) Fight it together with Reira

  76. First, B]
  77.
  78. She decides to concentrate on the enemy in front of her. Reluctantly, Seika calls out to Reira...

  81. Seika 15 (End No4)
  82. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  83. Seika reluctantly tells Reira that they should fight together. She instructs Reira to follow up on her attacks.
  84. They end up defeating the familiars with their amazing teamwork, which Seika thinks is because they've known each other for so long.
  85.
  86. Reira's happy, but Seika clearly isn't as happy as she is. This isn't what she wanted. She knows that she didn't have a choice, considering the situation they were in, but as a result of what happened during this fight, in which she did the exact opposite of what she felt inside, the distance between them becomes permanent.
  87.
  88. Seika wonders if they'll ever manage to repair their relationship.
