  118. About framerates: I've dropped the label 50fps since it's invalid. Validity of all things encoding-related can be found at http://scenerules.irc.gs/t.html?id=2013_SDX264v1.1.nfo Existing episodes will be RERiPped at proper compliance, and they'll look better and be smaller and encode much quicker. Everyone benefits from this. No more rainbows in the black and white animation, no more jaggies. Weng-Chiang should be redone also since I was experimenting with temporal de-noising and that episode is dark as balls. We want our noise. Reconstructed animations will be 12.5fps, film bonus segments shot for TV will be 25fps, film bonus segments shot at film rates will be 24fps, and segments predominantly shot on video (the episodes themselves and many bonus features) will be 50fps. This is my interpretation of the tenets of the SCENE's holy document of x264 encoding law. Dunno what the Queen Spider has to say about 50fps but I think it will be valid soon since they've OKed it for TV. The holy document says shoot for the true framerate, so I will.
