  1. The reason for the battle and the everything was the goddesses decided that they're just too involved and as such, decided to ascend to the heavens and let the world figure itself unless it was absolutely necessary and even then, the Hallowed Ones were always around to help.
  2. Usika was not pleased with this since he was tied to land itself and could not ascend, so he tried to keep them from leaving and that did not work well. Naturally, the Hallowed Ones took the side of the Triune.
  3. And Hael took up Usika's side. The land was devasted by this battle and it seemed that a stalemate would end up destryong everyone, until something dramatically tipped the odds in the Triune's favor. Hael switched sides.
  4. After coming to realize the devastation the gods were causing.
  5. This petty family drama was wreaking havoc on Evdomos, just like when Vuaya and Juveen unleashed their rage upon the land. So Hael unleashed her power on Usika and mortally wounded him before she herself perished.
  6. The Triune were able to seal him away and for her selfless act, Hael was reborn into a new realm. The Eternal Meadows. aka the afterlife. Yet, the goddesses' victory were not without loss.
  7. The seal they used took some of their powers so when they returned to the heavens, they could not physically come down to Evdomos. This made the Hallowed Ones' jobs even more important. After the goddesses healed the land and left, the saints helped the people towards a brighter future. 900 years later, a young Yaroki girl known for her dancing and beauty was praised throughout the tribe. Men yearned for her and women were jealous of her. She had everything she had always wanted and even managed to find a dashing husband and a loving child. Everything was perfect until her husband eventually saw a younger woman who was even more beautiful than her. Once she found out, she grew jealous and killed both of them before fleeing into the night. Her rage died down and gave way to sorrow before it turned into fear. Was she no longer beautiful? Did no one want her anymore? No one ever talked about her anymore after this new girl showed up. She began to search high and low for any source of hope until she managed to learn about the Eternal Meadows. You see, one of Hael's last wishes was to hide her from the history of Evdomos because she was ashamed of her actions, so few knew of her existence. It took years, but she finally managed to find a forbidden ritual that required a flower from every realm as well as a cursed incantation and the sacrifice of a soul because after all, you can't enter this place if you're alive. She conducted the ritual and managed to get in and see Hael. Hael was surprised that this mortal was before her. The woman asked to be granted eternal youth. Hael denied her request because that was just absurd. Not willing to go back empty handed, she casted a hex upon the guardian, one that began to drain her power. Hael was caught off guard and still healing after fighting in the war earlier. She lost a portion of her powers before forcibly removing the woman from her realm and sealing it away, but the damage was done. She had the power. Everything was fine for her for a few centuries, but eventually she began to grow weak. She failed to realize is she not only took a part of Hael's power, but also a fragment of Usika. Usika was shattered and sealed into eight pieces. Seven in Evdomos and one there. His soul would continue to drain her life
  8. unless she was able to have a constant source of life. Eventually she conspired to find people to search for the pieces for her as well as victims whose life energy she could drain. She began starting a rumor all throughout Evdomos about a flower that came granting wishes. Her idea worked and several people flocked to sightings. She ended up draining the life force of those who were successful to counteract Usika's essence draining hers. After a few more centuries, four people came to her, but each were strong willed and powerful. Their names were Warwick, Alexandria, Elias, and Lakshmi and she promised them great things if they obeyed her, so they did. However, long before this meeting happened, Hael decided to get even with the woman and upon learning she was a Yaroki, she sent her power to the fields and made a great tree come forth. Known as the Mother Tree, it acts a way for her to send her voice out to prospective Yaroki youth to go out on a journey to find her, but the meaning has interpreted by the people as a way to become wiser and more cultured. This journey is called the Ahotsa.
  9. Hael hopes one day that, someone can stop that woman because the longer she lives, the longer Usika will ascend once more and that woman is none other than Ashanti.
