  30. Hey Kylle, thanks for the email. I'm definitely hoping to get the heat set up in the barn in the next few weeks. I'd love your help because all-in-all I'm clueless about how to go about it. All I've got is the furnace unit itself and the oil tank; I have about 25 gallons or so that should be good to get us started. I'm really not even sure as to what else this project will require, so if there is other things that you know I should get then please let me know and I'll figure out getting them.
  31. As for dates, there is this Saturday which I have minimally open, though if you were available earlier in the day then I would make time to work with you. Next Saturday, the 6th is mostly free for me at the moment. Also, the Monday, the 8th, is a holiday so I don't have school. The weekend after that I'm running my marathon and then after that is the 20th which is the Meat and Greet.
  32. So I'm looking at the 29th and the 6-8th as days that work for me. Any of those any good for you?
  33. Also, about the Spiritual concerns with Ross.

  42. You got it!
  43.
  44. I've been wanting to thank you again for the delicious treats that you brought us. We ate those donuts rather quickly :) And I had just run out of fruit so it was great to not have to go to the store for apples, perfect timing! We really enjoyed getting together with you all again and hope we can do it again soon. You guys are such an awesome family.
  45.
  46. God bless,
  47. Kristin

  65. Sam,
  66.
  67. Hope all is going well; I know you were shell-shocked and over-loaded with the start of the year @ St. Paul’s. I hope and pray and know that it will begin to settle down. I know the school’s are challenged and really pile it on to try and cut some costs and know it must be hard to give everything you want to each student when your time is pulled so tight, but I also know your work will bear fruit.
  68.
  69. We had a great job at your place the other day; I cannot think you enough for bringing us into your home at such a special family gathering.
  70.
  71. A couple things:
  72.
  73. A: You mentioned a heating project on the barn. If you still want to work on it this fall, definitely get me some dates and I will try to match up. Also, let me know what you need for hook-ups or I will swing by when I am driving Maisey to Matt’s and take a look. I have tons of wire, boxes, outdoor pig-tails, etc.
  74.
  75. As an aside – Ross had a wonderful time, loves your son and would like to help – he is quite good with tools but can also help out with Isaiah.
  76.
  77. B: In the area of Ross, I would love some advice sometime:
  78.
  79. Although Ross is only 13, he struggles with the issues of worry, guilt, sin, death, etc. He is such a great kid that I hate to see this worry issue affect him , but it is what makes him special in many ways. I have talked to him about these things and discussed God’s plan for him. He has also gone to counseling for “over-worrying” or concerns about “bad thoughts” and such. He is actually doing much better. Through all this, though, I am looking for some other practical ideas to help him redirect his thoughts and understand that God wants us to dwell on His love and forgiveness, not our sin..
  80.
  81. Ross and I both go to Reconciliation about once every two months and he understands the concept of God’s forgiveness and Grace, but he worries that he will still be too sinful in life; he is afraid of being bad in the future. He is especially concerned now that school has started because he gets a lot of mixed messages and additional stress (surprise!); he even had a classmate tell him that even thinking about sex is a sin!
  82.
  83. What I am looking for is some guidance regarding helping him understand the difference between trying to live the life Christ asks us to and worrying every moment about it and about his future. I have stressed to him that God does not ask us to be perfect, nor is anyone who he knows or looks up to. If you know of any books or ideas, I would love to hear them! This is not an emergency, just looking for ideas and I think you so much for taking any time to consider my questions.
  84.
  85. Please let me know about the project as I know both of us have busy schedules and let us know if we can be of any other help.
  86.
  87. Yours in Christ,
