  5. Erelye: [**Loading...**]
  6. Pope Cipurr: >ask topaz about green diamond
  7. Erelye: [**Helpful Tip: The Articersil Process, first blueprinted in the Kappa Sector, can aid one greatly in photography.**]
  8. Erelye: [**Loading...**]
  9. Pope Cipurr: to be fair we're running up against a time limit :/
  10. Nomble: ...
  11. Erelye: [**Would you like to begin CHAPTER TWO: AND YET? Y/N.**]
  12. Pope Cipurr: not exactly healthy for exploration
  13. Pope Cipurr: Y
  14. Nomble: what happens if we say no
  15. Erelye: [**CHAPTER TWO.**]
  16. Erelye: [**Your name is AZURE LAPIS. You are on-board the *G.S.S. Exsanguinator*, en route to the Chi Sector, with your friends. They are all staring at you with horror and surprise at what you accomplished in the shootout. Please enter command.**]
  17. Pope Cipurr: >ask topaz about green diamond
  18. Erelye: [**She raises an eyebrow. "I didn't know her personally, you know. Just in a professional sense."**]
  19. Pope Cipurr: ...alright then
  20. Erelye: [**ETA: twenty-five minutes.**]
  21. TwinBuilder: > What's the Articersil Process, exacxtly?
  22. Pope Cipurr: uh, i'm gonna assume we're going to be asked about music...
  23. Pope Cipurr: do you think these guys are gonna know :/
  24. Erelye: [**Check the blueprints you found in the Kappa Sector.**]
  25. Nomble: Do that.
  26. Erelye: [**Once again, you look at them. You are astounded that you did not bother to even consider them when you first obtained them. They appear to show an easy-to-construct levitating droid with an inbuilt Polaroid of some sort, pre-digitalized for you, all in candlight and maroon ink.**]
  27. Nomble: Make it.
  28. Yung Venuz: do it
  29. Nomble: We have the materials, iirc.
  30. Erelye: [**You completely ignore everyone staring at you dumbfoundedly, and begin to construct the droid.**]
  31. TwinBuilder: Talk to break the silence. "Uh, any questions?"
  32. Pope Cipurr: ha
  33. Nomble: "who cares what others thing, i'm lapis ~~lazuli~~"
  34. Erelye: [**Everyone looks at each other for a moment. Charoite leans against the wall of the ship. "Sure. Who even are you anymore."**]
  35. TwinBuilder: Azure Lapis??
  36. Pope Cipurr: :/
  37. Nomble: Haha, what?
  38. Pope Cipurr: don't think i didn't see that
  39. TwinBuilder: ((I'm not going to pretend as if you didn't.))
  40. Erelye: [**"So, you suddenly have the ability to combat godlike gems by yourself. We're supposed to believe this is normal after you run away from all of us, and go to the mysterious tower."**]
  41. Pope Cipurr: ..."Uh, we may or may not have figured out MUSIC."
  42. TwinBuilder: ^
  43. Yung Venuz: ^
  44. Erelye: [**Cyan interjects. "Music?"**]
  45. TwinBuilder: No, not music. MUSIC.
  46. Pope Cipurr: "I think it's actually supposed to be pronounced with all capital letters."
  47. Erelye: [**"... Okay." Charoite returns to being the voice of the masses. "What is it, and how did you figure it out."**]
  48. TwinBuilder: ((I guess I'll let Generic explain.))
  49. Pope Cipurr: "Some kind of weird energy thing, there was uh, some instrument in the tower, and we just kind of tried to... do it? I'm not sure how it worked."
  50. Pope Cipurr: that is a terrible explanation
  51. Pope Cipurr: <:msPaint:213597855041060864>
  52. Yung Venuz: ...
  53. Erelye: ((It sounds more like a person than anyone else here does.))
  54. Yung Venuz: ^^^^^^^^^^^^
  55. Yung Venuz: (I am secretly a cold robot. Beep booop bep)
  56. Yung Venuz: .
  57. Erelye: [**"Interesting. Did you find anything *else* in there?"**]
  58. Pope Cipurr: "A void shard?"
  59. Pope Cipurr: that is definitely the right answer /s
  60. Erelye: [**Everyone colloquially mutters amongst themselves, confirming this is a plus. Only two more to go, then.**]
  61. Nomble: Is our drone finished?
  62. TwinBuilder: "And also, some kind of horrible eldritch abomination. It didn't even have a real name."
  63. Pope Cipurr: who was semi/colon
  64. Pope Cipurr: i forget
  65. TwinBuilder: "I'm pretty sure it was some form of punctuation?"
  66. Pope Cipurr: they had a name
  67. Erelye: [**Topaz speaks up. "Would it have happened to have been some sort of short white humanoid thing."**]
  68. TwinBuilder: ((Time to scour through the logs to check.))
  69. crystalcat: Yes, it was.
  70. crystalcat: Kind of blocky head, too, I think?
  71. TwinBuilder: ^
  72. Erelye: [**"That would make it a genetic experiment those Imperium maniacs used against us in the war. They should have all been locked up." Charoite glares at Topaz at the use of the word maniac.**]
  73. TwinBuilder: ((...The PXs.))
  74. Yung Venuz: RIP
  75. Nomble: ((was charoite one of the imperium in the past or something?))
  76. TwinBuilder: Yes.
  77. Erelye: [**Still *is*.**]
  78. Nomble: thanks
  79. Nomble: *oh*
  80. Erelye: [**Cyan asks one last question as you finish the droid. "So, uh. Who was that fusion lady? You kind of looked like you recognized her."**]
  81. Pope Cipurr: ...we did? i forget
  82. Pope Cipurr: why did we recognize her
  83. TwinBuilder: Well, we've seen FOMALHAUT within SOLIDUS?
  84. Pope Cipurr: previous employment or...
  85. TwinBuilder: emeraldxtsavorite, their two gems, are their password.
  86. TwinBuilder: Other than that, (which is a purely meta reason), I don't know how we could have recognized them.
  87. Yung Venuz: rip us
  88. Pope Cipurr: uh, does charoite have any clue
  89. Pope Cipurr: otherwise i wouldn't remember
  90. Nomble: say we kearned of formalhaut's accomplishments in the past or something?
  91. Nomble: any objections?
  92. Erelye: [**Who's Formalhaut?**]
  93. Yung Venuz: ^
  94. Nomble: thatsthejoke.png
  95. Yung Venuz: itsalljustapng.joke
  96. Erelye: [**How do you respond?**]
  97. Pope Cipurr: formalhaut
  98. Pope Cipurr: uh, i don't recall fomalhaut so
  99. Pope Cipurr: does charoite <:msPaint:213597855041060864>
  100. Nomble: i like how nobody notice "kearned"
  101. Nomble: and fine
  102. say we learned of fomalhaut's accomplishments in the past or something?
  103. any objections?
  104. TwinBuilder: sure??
  105. Pope Cipurr: no clue
  106. Nomble: say it?
  107. Erelye: [**Charoite nods at your earlier suggestion of having her explain. "FOMALHAUT. She's a high-level Kristalli agent. She helps run some sort of hidden project in the bowels of ИММЕЦОН. I know two things about her personally. One, she's the only one of the R4 council with a metaphorical heart. Two, she's by far the weakest."**]
  108. Pope Cipurr: ...we're dead
  109. Yung Venuz: kekekek
  110. TwinBuilder: We are *SO* dead.
  111. Nomble: what if we teach everyone how to MUSIC?
  112. TwinBuilder: Finish the drone.
  113. Nomble: then are we dead?
  114. Erelye: [**You complete the Articersil Drone. Do you activate it?**]
  115. Nomble: sure
  116. Bomber57: >yes
  117. Erelye: [**You activate it. It slowly levitates into the air, cyanic mechanovitae flowing through its mechanical vascular system. A lens shifts into view, ringed by a singular magetear tube. You have shifted the form of the Polaroid successfully.**]
  118. Nomble: How many photos does it have left?
  119. TwinBuilder: "Infinite."
  120. Erelye: [**It's digital.**]
  121. TwinBuilder: ANNOYING PREMONITION BADGE DELUXE, BOYS
  122. Nomble: fine
  123. Nomble: you already have it
  124. Nomble: oh
  125. Erelye: [**Immediately, the thing emits two clicks, light flashing across the room twice.**]
  126. Nomble: you got the **deadly premonition designator**
  127. Erelye: [**ETA: five minutes. What do you do?**]
  128. Nomble: test out the drone on the void outside
  129. Erelye: [**Do you really want to have the drone take a picture of the UNENDING ETERNAL DARKNESS that is the background fabric of this INFINITE VOID DIMENSION?**]
  130. Nomble: erm
  131. TwinBuilder: yes.
  132. TwinBuilder: YES.
  133. Nomble: inb4 photochievement
  134. TwinBuilder: ((And then we fucking died.))
  135. Erelye: [**You do so. A screen on the side of the drone pops out, showing you the picture.**]
  136. Erelye: [**It shows the photo, with shittily-photoshopped maroon text over it. "A waste of data."**]
  137. Nomble: take another picture
  138. TwinBuilder: :whoa: what a top fucking kek
  139. Nomble: "spite malpike"
  140. TwinBuilder: who did that
  141. Erelye: [**Kindly do not block up the memo game chat like an imbecile.**]
  142. TwinBuilder: :/ fine
  143. Erelye: [**You take another picture, with the exact same result.**]
  144. TwinBuilder: switching off of computer for now
  145. TwinBuilder: I'll still be on mobile
  146. TwinBuilder: are we there yet?
  147. Erelye: [**You are now outside the CHI SECTOR.**]
  148. Erelye: [**You have yet to land, of course.**]
  149. TwinBuilder: land.
  150. Erelye: [**You touch down, opening the hatch of the ship. Outside are beautiful rolling green hills, trees, and a large river, all upon a central floating continent. There is a large and beautifully-crafted wooden structure of some sort in the center of the place, surrounded by gates.**]
  151. Erelye: [**Who do you desire to take with you?**]
  152. TwinBuilder: We're NOT going alone.
  153. TwinBuilder: I vote topaz.
  154. crystalcat: ^
  155. Erelye: [**You and Topaz step out into the world, Cyan and Charoite bading you farewell. Where will you go, what will you do, will you make something entirely new?**]
  156. TwinBuilder: Head for wooden structure.
  157. Nomble: are you trying to tell us we'll have to fuse to win
  158. TwinBuilder: ::)
  159. Nomble: ":::"
  160. Erelye: [**You do so. The place's gates are made of a combination of cherry wood, and a pale white wood you do not recognize. As you step closer to the building, you note the center of it is taken up by an absolutely *monolithic* tenebrite tower glowing with magetear cells in the walls. The structure proper beneath it seems cheery itself.**]
  161. Nomble: ask topaz if she knows who owns this
  162. Erelye: [**"...No? How would I know. I haven't been around for years. I didn't even know floating islands were a thing until we met."**]
  163. TwinBuilder: She doesn't know EVERYTHING
  164. TwinBuilder: ^
  165. Nomble: "i know that, just in case though"
  166. TwinBuilder: Look around for anything of note other than XVI.
  167. Erelye: [**The actual gates proper to the structures, of course.**]
  168. TwinBuilder: Within the gates
  169. Nomble: "what's behind the gate(s)"
  170. Erelye: [**You cannot see anything behind the gates, save for the large wooden structure and tower, given the height of the wooden and stone walls before them.**]
  171. TwinBuilder: Go through the gates then
  172. TwinBuilder: And then look
  173. TwinBuilder: ????
  174. Erelye: [**The gates are closed.**]
  175. Pope Cipurr: the robot's tagging along right
  176. Erelye: [**Lying beside a cherry tree by the doors of the gates themselves is an object of interest. The doors also host an inscription. Also, yes.**]
  177. Nomble: take a picture
  178. TwinBuilder: Pick up object and examine inscription.
  179. Erelye: [**You take a picture. You get nothing whatsoever from it. Such is the price of digitalization.**]
  180. Pope Cipurr: ha
  181. Erelye: [**The inscription reads "ЛВИ-Х-ЛВИ, чрд."**]
  182. Erelye: [**Wooden Culinth: A strange instrument composed primarily of cherry wood. It possesses a central soundhole, three strings, and five frets. The strings are made of some unknown autumnal-scented material you quite enjoy the feel of.**]
  183. Erelye: [ http://pastebin.com/ae9sbmgs ]
  184. Nomble: four of four, chrd
  185. Nomble: oh
  186. Pope Cipurr: oh yeah didn't vardiveig mention that...
  187. Nomble: MUSIC
  188. Pope Cipurr: we don't have any way to contact them do we
  189. Erelye: [**No. All she said was that you'd meet again (some sunny day) on Earth.**]
  190. Erelye: [**You don't know where, and you don't know when.**]
  191. Nomble: but we knew we'll meet again, some sunny day
  192. Erelye: [**What do you do?**]
  193. Nomble: i don't know how MUSIC works, so...
  194. Erelye: [**Luckily enough for you, this doesn't involve MUSIC. Just music.**]
  195. Erelye: [**Not everything is magic.**]
  196. Nomble: apparently it's a scale of some sort
  197. Nomble: or something
  198. Pope Cipurr: lvi-x-lvi?
  199. Nomble: four of four
  200. Pope Cipurr: ah
  201. Nomble: Oh, that's whatnotes it can play.
  202. Nomble: Look at the other gates.
  203. Erelye: [**There is one method of entrance. This one.**]
  204. Nomble: hmm
  205. Nomble: uhh
  206. Nomble: play we'll meet again
  207. Nomble: on the culinth
  208. Erelye: [**You don't think you know how.**]
  209. Nomble: Do I know the notes of the song?
  210. Erelye: [**No. You weren't one to watch Gravity Falls religiously, let alone prior to the mass-ritual cancerous throne-forming via the bodies of its fans, a few months ago. That was big news, you recall.**]
  211. Pope Cipurr: ha
  212. Nomble: is there any indication of what song to play?
  213. Erelye: [**No.**]
  214. Erelye: [**You don't think it's a song, really. Just a chord.**]
  215. Nomble: hmm
  216. Nomble: okay
  217. Nomble: so
  218. Nomble: on the note
  219. Nomble: play those notes at the bottom in order from top to bottom, with all three horizontally at once
  220. Erelye: [**Which notes?**]
  221. Nomble: http://pastebin.com/ae9sbmgs
  222. Nomble: at the bottom of it
  223. Erelye: [**You play the entirety of the *notes* possible of the culinth, in horizontal rows from top to bottom. Nothing happens whatsoever.**]
  224. Erelye: [**Remember. Four of four.**]
  225. Erelye: [**Or, four of four of four, even, if one so wished to call it as such.**]
  226. Erelye: [**Please enter command.**]
  227. Nomble: play E10 to E13
  228. Nomble: preferably all at once, though that's probably impossible
  229. Erelye: [**You do so. The first few seconds seem glowing and harmonic, while the last few lose the initial splendor.**]
  230. TwinBuilder: Apologies for abandoning this; was busy.
  231. TwinBuilder: I'm back now.
  232. Nomble: how many is a few
  233. Erelye: [**The first two notes.**]
  234. Nomble: play E10, E11, then E12 and B12 at the same time, then E13 and B13 at the same time.
  235. Erelye: [**You do so. Everything once more loses its beauty following your third note-playing.**]
  236. Pope Cipurr: hm
  237. Pope Cipurr: no clue
  238. Erelye: [**Four of four of four is your only clue.**]
  239. Nomble: what happens if we play E10 with D4 and E11 with D4?
  240. Erelye: [**E10 isn't a full D4 chord.**]
  241. Erelye: [**Nor is E10 and E11.**]
  242. Nomble: ...?
  243. Erelye: [**Please enter command.**]
  244. TwinBuilder: so the glory persisted up until E13+B13?
  245. Cyanogynist: Play D4 16 times.
  246. Nomble: E10, E11, then E12 with B12 and D4, E13 with B13 and D4
  247. Erelye: [**You don't know how to play a full D4 chord.**]
  248. Nomble: define full D4 chord
  249. Erelye: [**All of the correct strings pushed down in the proper frets, or even multiple places on the same string, with the culinth.**]
  250. Erelye: [**For the chord, that is. That's basic string instrument work, of course. Barring the multiple fingers per string.**]
  251. Nomble: oh right
  252. Nomble: can only use one hand
  253. Nomble: hmm
  254. Nomble: E10, E11, B12 B13
  255. Cyanogynist: PLAY D4 16 TIMES.
  256. FOUR OF FOUR OF FOUR.
  257. D4 4^4.
  258. Erelye: [**Which plan will you go with?**]
  259. Cyanogynist: nomble's plan
  260. Erelye: [**You play a D4 chord on the culinth, the thing ringing out harmoniously across the area. The doors of the gate creak backwards, unsealing. Topaz seems to have enjoyed your musical performance.**]
  261. Nomble: we did it reddit
  262. Nomble: go in
  263. Erelye: [**You enter.**]
  264. TwinBuilder: But was it a MUSICAL performance?
  265. *shot*
  266. TwinBuilder: Examine the new area.
  267. TwinBuilder: While I'm at it, I'm gonna work on *Chosen* (while also playing this, of course).
  268. Erelye: [**The area within is filled with small trees and limestone fountains of what are either tears, or saliva. You can never quite tell. The central tower-wooden building complex is the only structure within the walls.**]
  269. Nomble: "does it heal us"
  270. TwinBuilder: Examine for objects of interest.
  271. Cyanogynist: no, seriously
  272. does it heal us
  273. Erelye: [**Your gem isn't cracked, dunkasses.**]
  274. Nomble: are we going to get cracked
  275. Nomble: is this forshadowing
  276. TwinBuilder: If it was foreshadowing, he'd say [**Your gem isn't cracked yet, dunkasses.**]
  277. Erelye: [**There aren't any objects lying about. Just the doors to the wooden structure, and the XVI.**]
  278. Pope Cipurr: might as well bottle as much as possible
  279. TwinBuilder: ^
  280. Pope Cipurr: devestate the place not like anyone's home <:msPaint:213597855041060864>
  281. Erelye: [**You steal a personal pond of tears or saliva, and store it in a bubble, before warping it into the ship. You snort, thinking of the reactions of Charoite and Cyan when it arrives.**]
  282. Cyanogynist: stop breaking the fourth wall <:msPaint:213597855041060864>
  283. Pope Cipurr: "amazing"
  284. Erelye: [**"*You* are promptly grabbed by a maroon hand, and bashed over the fourth wall, cracking through it."**]
  285. Nomble: oh no ao invasion
  286. Erelye: [**This Oracle has no idea what you're talking about. Just silencing a cyan that is not Cyan.**]
  287. Pope Cipurr: take a pensive taste of the fountain
  288. Pope Cipurr: this is definitely a good idea
  289. Erelye: [**You take a taste of the fountain-water.**]
  290. Erelye: !coin
  291. Pope Cipurr: pffff
  292. Erelye: [**It tastes like saliva.**]
  293. Pope Cipurr: amazing
  294. TwinBuilder: ...take another taste
  295. Erelye: !coin
  296. Pope Cipurr: the mystery solved
  297. Erelye: [**You take another taste. It's saliva again.**]
  298. Pope Cipurr: don't stop tasting
  299. Erelye: !coin
  300. Erelye: [**This time, it's tears.**]
  301. Pope Cipurr: pff
  302. Pope Cipurr: beautiful
  303. Pope Cipurr: okay uh
  304. Pope Cipurr: let's check the door
  305. Erelye: [**The one to the tower, or the one to the wooden structure?**]
  306. Nomble: "the better one"
  307. Pope Cipurr: central tower?
  308. Pope Cipurr: aren't they the same
  309. Erelye: [**Perhaps.**]
  310. Erelye: [**You suppose you could just fly in through a window without Topaz if you wanted, though.**]
  311. Pope Cipurr: eh, might as well look
  312. Erelye: [**You fly upwards, peering into the windows of the tower. You see nothing but an impenetrable darkness.**]
  313. Erelye: [**Akin to the void of the skies above, actually.**]
  314. Erelye: [**What do you do next?**]
  315. Nomble: go in the tower
  316. Nomble: door
  317. Pope Cipurr: i meant look at the door :/
  318. Erelye: [**You look at the door, then. It's a pure black plate, with a small slot in the center.**]
  319. Nomble: do we know what might fit in it
  320. Nomble: inb4 a gem
  321. Erelye: [**You don't have anything that will fit perfectly.**]
  322. Nomble: hmm
  323. Nomble: to in wooden thing then
  324. Pope Cipurr: whatever, enter the lowest window?
  325. Nomble: no
  326. Nomble: topaz comes with
  327. Erelye: [**You enter the wooden structure. Immediately upon doing so, both Topaz and you alike note how open and airy the place is, with no roof whatsoever. The entry hall, of sorts, is a magnificent garden, lovingly tended to. There is a door on the other side of the place, following a path extending from a detailed and almost royal statue in the absolute center of the garden. As you step in, the void above shifts in shade and color, becoming an Earthen sky afflicted by sunset. The dying light of the sun reflects off of a shiny object in the statue's navel.**]
  328. TwinBuilder: wow.
  329. TwinBuilder: examine statue. can you tell who it depicts?
  330. Erelye: [**You examine the statue. It depicts a wild-haired pink-tinted gem holding a planet in their left hand, staring directly in the direction of the setting sun. You note the shining object is some artistic glass dyed pink cut into the shape of a diamond.**]
  331. Nomble: pink diamond?
  332. TwinBuilder: Pink Diamond.
  333. Nomble: does topaz know anything about pink diamond
  334. TwinBuilder: Go through the door on the other side of the room.
  335. TwinBuilder: Also, probably not. She served *Green* Diamond.
  336. Erelye: [**"Who?"**]
  337. TwinBuilder: Yeah, see?
  338. Nomble: but topaz was a general
  339. Nomble: i think
  340. TwinBuilder: Pink Diamond was dead by the time Topaz had served in the army.
  341. Nomble: ah
  342. TwinBuilder: And, presumably, written out of history.
  343. Erelye: [**"There's *never* been a Pink Diamond, I think? I don't really know."**]
  344. Erelye: [**Please enter command.**]
  345. Nomble: enter door
  346. Erelye: [**You enter the door, reaching a homely chamber of wood and warmth. Stone slabs hang on the walls, covered in murals.**]
  347. Erelye: [**Three figures are conversing by a handleless door.**]
  348. Nomble: listen to them sneakily
  349. TwinBuilder: three figures in the murals, or actual people?
  350. Erelye: [**Actual people.**]
  351. TwinBuilder: See if you can examine their appearances.
  352. Erelye: [**They are all extraordinarily tall, and possess massive curly pink hair.**]
  353. TwinBuilder: ...rose quartzes?
  354. TwinBuilder: Hear what they're saying.
  355. Pope Cipurr: oh yeah we heard mention of this area previously
  356. Pope Cipurr: recall what we heard <:msPaint:213597855041060864>
  357. Erelye: [**You get near them, and the two furthest from you look up, locking eyes with you. The first of the two grins, and they both quietly leave through the handleless door, leaving one Rose Quartz behind. She extends a hand to you. "Oh! Welcome. I didn't think we'd be having visitors. And a part-human, as well! This is exciting. How are you?"**]
  358. Nomble: "good"
  359. TwinBuilder: Uh. Good.
  360. TwinBuilder: How do they know we're part-human.
  361. Erelye: [**"I can see it in your eyes. And also by the fact that you, you know, kind of have human flesh with a gem grafted to it." The rose quartz chuckles. You... don't *think* you said anything?**]
  362. Pope Cipurr: skin tone
  363. Yung Venuz: ^
  364. Yung Venuz: a full lapis would have
  365. Yung Venuz: you know

  367. TwinBuilder: oh, duh.
  368. TwinBuilder: also, shit, they can see OOC text.
  369. TwinBuilder: be careful about what you say.
  370. Yung Venuz: oh ok
  371. Yung Venuz: WE ARE ALL FLYING CHE-
  372. Yung Venuz: *shot*
  373. TwinBuilder: <@!178964701072326657> ((what did you hear about this place?))
  374. Pope Cipurr: how should i know
  375. Pope Cipurr: i know we know something
  376. Pope Cipurr: but i don't remember what it is
  377. Pope Cipurr: so
  378. TwinBuilder: rip.
  379. Pope Cipurr: i think we really just knew of this place's existence
  380. TwinBuilder: I guess, talk to the quartzes? "So... What's this whole place for, exactly?"
  381. Erelye: [**"It's where we live. We, what's left of the followers of Pink Diamond." Topaz raises an eyebrow, likely still questioning the Diamond's existence.**]
  382. TwinBuilder: "Pink Diamond... How, exactly, did they die?" ((I honestly don't know. I presume Grey Diamond, but I'd like to hear conformation.))
  383. Erelye: [**"Hmm. I suppose I could tell you. Are either of you underage? This story gets a little... graphic."**]
  384. TwinBuilder: "...No."
  385. Erelye: [**"Wonderful! I had to ask first. In short, nearing the climax of the first civil war, her gem was simultaneously pulled out of her body and shattered by a misfire of stolen Carinian prototype sonic weapons, on the side of Blue and Green Diamond."**]
  386. Nomble: well
  387. Erelye: [**The rose quartz looks away. "It wasn't exactly pretty."**]
  388. TwinBuilder: ...That sounds disgusting.
  389. Erelye: [**"It would have been, had she not gotten White Diamond to finish her off before it got any more horrible."**]
  390. Nomble: "Define more horrible."
  391. Erelye: [**Her expression darkens. "We... we've got the shards downstairs."**]
  392. TwinBuilder: ((...Should we ask to see?))
  393. Nomble: ((should we ask what the tower's about))
  394. TwinBuilder: ((Most likely a place of rememberance for Pink Diamond, but sure, ask.))
  395. Nomble: What's with that tower outside?
  396. Erelye: [**The rose's expression grows only slightly less grim. "That's the *Astral Tower*.**]
  397. Erelye: [**"Sadly, we couldn't get a better chunk of land when the Break occurred... so here we are, living next to it."**]
  398. Nomble: ((does anyone know what that is))
  399. TwinBuilder: No.
  400. TwinBuilder: "The Break?"
  401. Pope Cipurr: sounds straightforward :/
  402. Nomble: i meant the tower, break's probably when this place became floating islands
  403. TwinBuilder: oh.
  404. TwinBuilder: shit.
  405. Erelye: [**Please enter command.**]
  406. Nomble: ""What's the Astral Tower? I haven't brushed up on my history. Or landmarks."
  407. Erelye: [**"It's a weapon. And a memorial of the millions the second civil war slaughtered. It's also what █████ ██ ███ ████, but that's neither here nor there."**]
  408. TwinBuilder: ...Alright then.
  409. Erelye: [**She peers into your eyes curiously. "You... you'll probably want to go in. You seem like that kind of person. By all means, go ahead. Ask me if you want the key. For now, you're free to look around here, and check out the murals."**]
  410. Nomble: Look around.
  411. Erelye: [**There are five major slabs with murals upon them on the walls. The rest are incoherent, or just drawings.**]
  412. Nomble: Look at the murals.
  413. Nomble: and slabs.
  414. Erelye: [**The slabs bearing the murals appear to have been excavated from somewhere. You'll have to examine them specifically to observe them.**]
  415. Nomble: Examine slab 1.

  418. Nomble: second?
  419. Erelye: [**The second depicts a green figure being pulled out of a hole in the wall in a cavern by two armored figures, the words "ХЫПХ НОРС-ВАРИТ. ПЕ ЯХ-ДРАХИС УЦОСЦО ГWЕ." above the image.**]

  429. TwinBuilder: it's VARIT, not VERIT.
  430. Nomble: worth false
  431. Nomble: doesn't make sense
  432. Erelye: [**You don't know all of the meanings of a particular word, of course.**]
  433. Nomble: worth nothing?
  434. Erelye: [**No.**]
  435. TwinBuilder: bluh, just expend a translation credit.
  436. Nomble: useless?
  437. Erelye: [**INPUT: ХЫПХ НОРС-ВАРИТ. ПЕ ЯХ-ДРАХИС УЦОСЦО ГWЕ.**]

  439. Erelye: [**Translation credit absorbed.**]
  440. Nomble: third slab
  441. Erelye: [**The third slab depicts a standard Great Diamond Authority symbol, though with the top white instead of gray, the left yellow instead of blue, and the right blue instead of green.**]
  442. Nomble: fourth?
  443. Erelye: [**The fourth displays a standard Great Diamond Authority symbol, though with the top white instead of gray.**]

  453. Nomble: should we ask for explinations from the roses?
  454. Erelye: [**The rose quartz calls over from where she's standing. "The first two and the second two are what we thought versus what actually happened! The last one makes no sense to me, though."**]
  455. Nomble: thanks
  456. Nomble: is this the fourth rose by chance
  457. Erelye: [**There is one rose quartz in the room. The other two left.**]

  463. Erelye: [**Now what?**]
  464. Nomble: Ask for the key.

  471. Erelye: [**Let alone how to use it.**]
  472. Nomble: put it in the slot
  473. Erelye: [**Very well. You do not examine the thing, and instead attempt to just stick it in the slot. The second you touch it with your bare hands, you feel a horrific boiling sensation as your flesh begins to blister.**]
  474. Nomble: uhh
  475. Nomble: examine it
  476. Nomble: it's a void shard isn't it
  477. Erelye: [**Smoldering Medallion: A brass medallion constructed with an inbuilt ИАМОНД capacitor in the center. Blisters organic flesh upon contact with it. 492. Nomble: Topaz: put it in
  493. Erelye: [**She sticks it in. The door opens. You can see the rose quartz attempting to restrain a laugh. "Bye, good luck!"**]
  494. TwinBuilder: ...
  495. TwinBuilder: I wonder if this is a trap?
  496. Nomble: uhh
  497. TwinBuilder: ***I WONDER???***

  501. TwinBuilder: Head through and examine the new area.

  503. Nomble: do the elevator
  504. Erelye: [**You ascend, Topaz beside you.**]
  505. Erelye: [**You reach the top of the tower, observing the lightless sky above, and the green hills, waters, and trees below.**]

  528. Erelye: [**What do you do?**]
  529. Nomble: anything else in the room?
  530. Erelye: [**There is nothing else atop the tower.**]
  531. Nomble: Go back.
  532. Erelye: [**I'm sorry, but do you think you are allowed to leave whilst the sky is rumbling?**]

  600. TwinBuilder: see how topaz is doing, while you're at it.
  601. Nomble: did topaz also see the sky explode
  602. Nomble: or was it always like that for her
  603. Erelye: [**She's in shock. As for your comment, the rose quartz responds with a "I would hope so."**]
  604. Erelye: [**You feel that elsewhere in reality, a phoenix and a demon gaze upon the sky, and rejoice, for all is easier, whilst a scorched queen of a dying empire grows yet more afraid, accelerating a Project.**]
