  1. A sightless gaze passed from side to side as a traveller checked their surroundings. Arisu appeared to be more or less alone. Anyone who could hide from her specific method of perception was far too powerful to bother stalking her. She could see the bright trunks of trees, the hundreds of thousands of stars that were leaves, the individual bugs in the dirt below, but where there was no life there was only darkness.
  2.
  3. This darkness was what she sought out - a rocky patch of ground devoid of plant life a fair distance from the nearby tavern that could easily be assumed to be a frequent campsite or such. She idly sat down on the stone and immersed herself in the lack of chakra. Taking a deep breath in, before she mentally reached out and grabbed that void, beginning to twist and mold it using no insignificant amount of chakra. Externally she simply appeared to be meditating, though to her senses the work was clear. In the darkness something broke for an instant, and she exhaled a large plume of chakra-infused smoke which burned brilliantly against the darkness - Filling that momentary gap like a baloon full of chakra. Infront of her a swirling vortex appeared, grew larger still and proceeded to drag her through it.

  5. This was suffice to say, an impossible method of travel to anyone else she had ever heard of in her worldly travels. To her, it was a convenient way to get to her favorite teahouse after a lengthy travel. - She appeared meditating on a large rock in the middle of the pond out front and allowed the twisted darkness to spring back into shape. Her chakra vanishing into the void as normalcy reasserted itself on the world around her.
  6.
  7. She looked downwards at the outlines of the koi beneath the water and took a long drag from her ever-present pipe. Blowing a mundane plume skyward as she leaned her head back and enjoyed the peace as if she had been meditating at this spot for hours.
  8.
  9. Indeed it was only an hour later that she finally stood up and walked across the water to the cobbled path and up to the door, reaching a hand for the faintest of lights of what at one point had been alive and sliding it open, stepping into the room and making her way over to a cluster of brightly colored humanoid shapes, where she took a seat on a floor pillow and asked for the usual from the proprieter - His light was dim, he did not have the strength of youth anymore, but he definately knew how to make some damn good tea.
  10.
  11. She did not recognize the particular combinations of chakra near her, but she offered polite nods to the other patrons regardless. She heard a quiet clink infront of her and opened her mouth, allowing slivers of chakra-infused smoke to escape and disipate. Everywhere it touched she could see the outlines as if they were glowing in the dark, most importantly it revealed the shape of the cup infront of her, so she could grab it carefully and sip from it.
