Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal: Explorers of Astral World


	Yuma and his friends and allies leave Earth behind, as they are heading to Astral World. This mysterious world, home to Yuma's close friend Astral, is under attack by a mysterious new evil force. Yuma and Astral previously saved the latter's homeworld from the Barian emperors, seven powerful duelists who were controlled by an evil entity named Don Thousand. Yuma and Astral defeated Don Thousand and the Barian emperors are now on Yuma's side as a new battle looms on the horizon.

	Everyone passes through the portal to Astral World to find Astral waiting for them at the other end. Without saying a word, Astral gives everyone back their "Number" Xyz monster cards. The first one hundred of these cards were created from Astral's shattered memory, while the "Number" cards from 101 to 107 were created by Don Thousand when he tricked the seven Barian emperors into serving him.

	"Are we ready for battle?", Astral asks. Everyone shouts "YES!". Astral points to a large, ominous dark cloud on the horizon, indicating that it is the threat to Astral World. Before anyone can make a move, lightning bolts begin shooting out of the dark cloud in rapid fire. Some of them wrap around Yuma's friends and pull them into the dark cloud one by one. Yuma starts towards the dark cloud, but another lighting bolt shoots out and hits Yuma directly. Yuma's catches one last glimpse of his friends being captured, and then he blanks out.

	Back on Earth, Yuma's parents Kazuma and Mira are off on another expedition. They are both adventurers who travel around the world exploring ruins and other ancient places. Presently, they are investigating a recently-discovered ancient ruin that was unearthed when the Barians attempted to merge Earth with their home world, Barian World. Kazuma thinks the ruin may have some connection to Barian World. Mira is checking the latest news on her computer tablet.

	"Several people saw a bright blue portal in the sky over Heartland City", Mira notifies her husband, "Sounds like a portal to Astral World".

	"Yuma probably went to visit Astral", Kazuma figures. Another man and woman arrive at the ruins. The Tsukumos recognize these new arrivals as Indiana Jones and Lara Croft. Both of them are famous explorers. Indiana and Lara waste no time in heading into the ruins. The Tsukumos rush in after them, wanting to be the first to discover anything interesting.

	Yuma comes to and finds himself back in Heartland City. He notices his friend Trey is next to him, looking as though he has just woke up as well. Astral is floating nearby. Yuma turns to face Trey and notices someone standing over them: a dark-haired girl in a pink shirt and orange shorts who appears to be just barely in her teens. She seems to be looking at the two boys interchangeably.

	"Are you two okay?", The girl asks. Yuma and Trey manage to stand up at the same time. The girl hugs Trey and kisses him on the cheek.

	"Glad to see you to, Dora". Trey responds. Yuma gives Trey a confused look.

	"Yuma, this is Dora Marquez", Trey introduces the girl, "She's an explorer like Dad and Kazuma, and she's sort-of my girlfriend".
