Character idea

[00:39] <Tangent> Shame Nadia probably makes her feel intense self-loathing just for being that much better. :D

[00:53] <Mechaguca> I mean, that's sort of a purer sentiment than Nadia's, admittedly. She's just kind of in it for the adventure with being a hero being the pretext.
[00:53] <Mechaguca> Although she's growing to the point where saving people does matter.
[00:54] <Tangent> Nah, it's an ego thing for this character more than the face value.
[00:55] <Tangent> After all, if she /matters/ by helping people, she gets to be self-righteous. Doing the right thing, being brave for being brave is hard, so find a cause to get worked up about. Throw yourself into it to play the hero, and presumably get praise- if only in your own mind.
