Brads a rude bitch but Kelsey is a bridesmaid

Alexithymiaa: -Steph was sitting in bed with her notebook against her legs, writing away. She'd spent most of her day writing music and therefore had requested her guitarm keyboard, and the recording mic from upstairs which was now all around her so she could get some work done. // Brad pulled his car into the driveway of their house, kind of grumbling to himself about coming over tonight. They'd picked up a little stuffed dog holding a heart that he found in the supermarket for cheap and he reached into the backseat to hand it off to Kelsey. "I don't want to be here all night, okay?"-
Covet: Felix was in the kitchen rummaging around for snacks, because he's an endless pit, He'd gotten himself some of those Iced Oatmeal cookies and a glass of milk. // Kelsey took the plushie and looked over at Brad, "Alright, you can take off when ever you've had enough. I'll get a ride home." She told him with a smile as she went to get out of the car herself, holding on the plushie
Alexithymiaa: -She set her notebook down and leaned over to the keyboard, pushing her fingers into the keys to play a short melody. Changing the sound of the keys, she played it again, hitting record so it would store the music in the bank of the keyboard. She was building. // Climbing out of the car, Brad rolled his eyes, moving around to go to Kelsey's side. "I'm not just going to leave you here so I can leave." He retorted, walking with her up to the front door to ring the bell which of course sent the dogs into a barking frenzy.-
Covet: "Hey! Hush you two, I get it, people are here. It's fine." He said to the dogs, setting his things on the counter heading for the door to open it up. // Giving a shrug, Kelsey sighed. "What's with the attitude about all of this?" She asked. "I can hang out with my cousin with out you going everywhere with me. It's okay." She said softly.
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing the doorbell ring, she lifted her head from her music, hearing all the barking. "Arizona?" She raised her voice more in question to make sure he was getting the door. She sort of just assumed it was Cadence. // "I'm not giving you an attitude. I just said I don't want to stay here all night." He said defensively. When Felix opened the door, he forced a smile. "Hey. We're here to check in on Steph."-
Covet: "It's just Kelsey and Brad." He called out behind him to Steph, but the tone he put on Brad's name was noticeably different than the one he used for Kelsey. Because he still thought Brad was a shit for how he acted the last couple of times he came over. // Kelsey smiled at Felix and held out the Bear, "We come bearing gifts." She said completely intending to ignore Brad, staying as long as she wanted.
Alexithymiaa: "Really?" She asked, honestly surprised because of the fact that Brad had been such a shit to her recently. She leaned over, trying to look out the bedroom door because if she got up Felix was going to yell at her for leaving bed. // Brad stepped forward into the house, catching Felix's tone when he'd announced his name. "Yeah, we do." He glanced around the open area first, not seeing her. "Is she around?" He asked sort of in a hurry because the sooner they saw her the sooner they could leave.-
Covet: "She's in bed.. because she's on bedrest." Felix said flatly but loud to warn her, because duh. He was getting an attitude."Yes really!" He yelled back to Steph again, walking towards the bedroom. // Kelsey walked around them quickly and came into the room, holding out the stuffed dog before making her way over to the bed to give Steph a hug. "Hi! How are you feeling? We were so worried in New York."
Alexithymiaa: -She smiled to Kelsey when she walked into the bedroom, reaching out to hug her back before taking the stuffed dog. "Thanks. I'm doing alright, a lot better that's for sure." She said with a shrug. "I know. I can tell when Bryan is worried because he's less sarcastic." // "Right." Brad said with a nod, crossing his arms over his chest and following back in the direction of the bedroom. "Yeah, we were really worried."-
Covet: "Felix went back into the kitchen to grab his cookies and milk before coming back into the room making his way to the bed to sit down. "But he didn't spontaneously fly out here so that's good." // "That's not for a lack of wanting, CJ just kept him on that side of the country." She said with a laugh. "But he was really worried. Even before we found out you were in the hospital, because he hadn't heard from you over the break."
Alexithymiaa: "Baby steps." She said with a laugh, shaking her head. "I literally told him we were going to be in Tucson and that I was going to be busy. He has a listening problem." She rolled her eyes, setting the stuffed down down in her lap. // Brad moved to take a seat down on the stool at her vanity, leaning his arms on his thighs. "He's always had a listening problem. You shouldn't be surprised."-
Covet: Felix pointed at Brad because he had a mouthful of cookies. // Kelsey laughed, "He's kind of getting better, so long as CJ reminds him." She said sitting on the foot of the bed looking at all the equipment. "You look like you're still being rather productive, while being laid up."
Alexithymiaa: "So basically he needs someone to hold his hand." She corrected before picking up her notebook and flipping through some of the pages at all the songs she'd been working on. "Yeah. I haven't sold a song in a while and I needed to get started on new material for the Kittens anyway so..." She trailed off, giving a shrug. "Actually that Punk Goes Pop album is going to be coming out soon and you can hear us cover your song." // Brad blew out a deep breath, distracted with looking around the room. "Anything to sell to Anna? She just released my video from the last one you did."-
Covet: "At least he has someone to hold his hand, and makes him behave." Felix said crunching away, sharing his cookie with nugget who was staring up at him waiting for more from the floor near the bed. // "

Covet: // "Oh right! I can't wait to hear what you guys did with it. I'm sure it's amazing." Kelsey said clapping her hands. "Wow, look at you go, that's a good chunk of change if you can get those to sell." She smiled, "I'm going to be starting training for the tour this summer. Got a lot of dance routines and such to figure out before that's all ready to go."
Alexithymiaa: "Not yet. I'm hoping someone I can come up with she'll be interested in and it'll fund wedding plans a bit. The video you did came out great though." She nodded her head, sweeping her bangs out of her face. "Well it's really more for exposure. There's twelve bands featured and each band only gets a small percentage and then that's pretty much just put back into band stuff like equipment. It doesn't matter though, I'm stoked anyway." She looked down at Nugget, watching him crunch cookie. "Really? Well if you need any help, I'd love to help you figure out choreography and stuff." She paused, her eyes lifting to Felix. "When the doctor says I can..." // Brad chewed on the inside of his cheek, already kind of bored with this conversation, but also a little annoyed that Steph wasnt even going to make money off Kelsey's song, someone else was and she'd just signed over permission to use it.-
Covet: "Who's a pudgy cookie monster." He said reaching down to flop his ears about as he petted the top of his head, he looked over to Steph, as she mentioned helping out with choreography, he raised his eyebrows, until she corrected herself. // "Well that makes sense that it's only a small percentage, with that many bands involved. And exposure pays out tenfold later on the line, so that's fantastic. When it comes out I'll make sure to put up something giving my seal of approval to help with that exposure." Kelsey said, "Oh that would be great too, but of course once you're allowed."

Alexithymiaa: "That would be amazing. And we'll just hope they don't catch on that we're related." She grinned. "Babe please stop feeding him cookies and can you get the amazon box from the laundry room?" She asked, trying to send him a cheesy wide smile. // Brad shifted on his seat, checking the time on his phone before crossing his arms over his chest. "Yeah, exposure is great." He said unamused, looking at the dog because he was just more concerned with literally anything other than this conversation.-
Covet: "He's fine. It's oatmeal and icing." Felix said in protest, then got up, "Yeah sure, why do you need it?" He asked her as he went to go get it anyways. // Kelsey heard the tone in Brad's voice and shot him a stern look. "Well, even if they do, what's the big deal? You guys wanted to do the song, and it fit with the theme of the album like they asked, It will give me a little bit of a boost, and who knows, maybe some of my fans will like your version just as much if not more."
Alexithymiaa: "That doesn't mean either of you should continue to eat cookies." She told him, getting after him a little bit because of how much she thought he'd been snacking lately since all his vape shit smells sweet and hes A LIAR. She wasnt going to tell him why she requested the box because just stfu and do it. "I highly doubt your fans will be more into our cover. Your music is so pop and ours is really not. At least the cover isn't anyway. The song I was working on earlier has a lot more of a pop feel." // Brad caught Kelsey's look and looked away from her, trying not to cause an issue. "Do you need help?" He asked Felix on his way out, standing up and following him out of the room even though he kind of assumed he didnt need help, he just wanted away. He followed him in the direction of the laundry room, looking for the box to help even though it wasnt large and was pretty light.-
Covet: Felix heard Brad and raised an eyebrow as he turned around, "I mean.. probably not.. I might be down an arm, but this cast should be coming off soon." He said as he grabbed the box and carried it with no issues, just kind of breezing past Brad. // "I dunno, some of my fans are pretty diverse, Plus.. as creepy as it might be, If I like it.. they'll like it. Fans are kind of crazy that way." She said with a bit of a cringey look on her face.
Alexithymiaa: -She made a face, her lip curling. "Is that what success looks like? Blind adoration and following?" She shook her head, letting out a sigh. "Did we ever do that? I feel like we never did that." // "Oh yeah? That's good. Must be kind of hard to like.. do stuff with it on." He said, reaching hard for conversation as he followed him back.-
Covet: "Eh, it's more obnoxious than anything. The collarbone brace is more annoying than the cast. Everything is just itchy." He said coming back into the room, with the box, handing it over to Steph. "Did you ever do what?" // "Kind of, at least partially, but for every crazy fan there's at least two more that aren't like that." Kelsey said, then laughed. "I don't think I have to that extent, but I have a lot of respect for other artists because I look up to them."
Alexithymiaa: -She reached up to take the box from him, setting it down on the bed in front of her to pull the flaps open. "We were just talking about super fans who like something because their idol likes it or tells them to. I don't think I was ever like that. I admit to checking out new music and being introduced to new bands because they're touring with bands I liked or were friends, but I never liked them because of that. It just sort of gave them a window of opportunity onto my iPod." She smirked. // "I've never broken anything like that so I wouldn't know." Brad said, taking his seat again on the stool and checking the time on his phone again. "I think that's a thing more in mainstream media than the alternative scene. Are you tired? You look tired. I don't want to overstay our welcome here..."-
Covet: "AH, are you sure you're not an ATL super fan though? You stalked them for so long they've become used to you and invite you to things and come visit you on a fairly regular basis." He asked her as he leaned back on the bed, then looked at Brad, " I don't recomend it. Try to avoid it if you can." // Kelsey smiled, looking at her, curious about the box. " Yeah, well a lot of my fans, are under the age of eighteen. So.. their crazy is at it's peak." She said with a laugh, then cleared her throat at Brad's comment.
Alexithymiaa: "I'm always tired, it's fine." She waved Brad off, kind of ignoring him because that was rude. "I'm not a super fan. They were never even my favorite band and I definitely didn't stalk them. I met them through Aubrey and they became friends after that. Totally different. Actually that reminds me that I wanted to ask Alex for some help with my writing process..." She trailed off, making a mental note to call him tomorrow. Reaching inside the box, she pulled out a metal framed headband bedazzled with the word 'BRIDESMAID' over the top, holding it up to her chest in both hands. "I wanted to ask you... if you would be a bridesmaid in our wedding." // "I'll be sure to try." Brad said, clearing his throat when Steph asked Kelsey to be a bridesmaid. He couldn't help, but roll his eyes, looking away from them.-

Covet: "I dunno... that seems like a lot of rationalization. I remember you telling me they were one of your favorites and you were going to convert me into liking them too." Felix said with a scoff. // Kelsey smiled, then tilted her head when Steph reached into the box then pulled out a bridesmaid headband. "Oh my goodness, absolutely! Of course!" She said getting up to give Steph another hug and to get the headband from her.
Alexithymiaa: -She leaned in to hug Kelsey with a wide smile. "Good because it was more of a rhetorical question." She settled back and moved the box out of the way because she only needed one of the headbands she'd ordered while sitting in bed all the damn time. "One of my favorites yes, but never THE favorite. Anberlin has always been and always will be my favorite. They're just not together anymore so there's no new music or news to talk about. Although I did watch the livestream they did when Stephen and Christian did an acoustic set in Florida last month. It was awesome." She nodded with confidence. "Why are you complaining? You like them. Most of them." // Brad yawned and covered his mouth, standing up to his feet. "That's really nice, but it's late and we should probably go relieve Holly and make sure Connor is in bed."-
Covet: "Oh, well excuse me." Felix said all sarcastically with a laugh as she spoke about Anberlin. "They're alright." He said with a shrug. "They're no Marshmello but I can tollerate them." // Kelsey gave a glare at Brad, but did have to agree it was getting late, "I'll come over again soon and we can talk music stuff." She said giving Steph another hug, before looking at Brad, not showing how irritated she was with him, but when they got out to the car he was going to get an earful.
Alexithymiaa: "You do more than tolerate them, stop. And Jack loves you." She leaned in to give Kelsey a hug to say goodbye. "Alright, get home safe. Give Connor a hug for me." She waved to Brad and then picked up her notebook, looking around at all the shit all over the bed. "Can you help me back up all this stuff fo rbed?" She asked Felix, turning off the keyboard and whatnot. // Brad waved to the two of them before following Kelsey out, sliding his hands into his pockets. "I hope Holly isn't upset with how late we are." He said, adding insult to injury right fucking now.-
Covet: "Yeah, Sure thing. I'll just set it out of the way so that I won't have to move it too far tomorrow." He told her going about getting things set up for bed. // Kelsey crossed her arms and headed out the door, "I'm sure she's fine. This isnt' any later than normal."
Alexithymiaa: "Good idea. I think I'm really onto something with this one song and I don't want to lose this focus so I want to jump right back in tomorrow morning." She said as she helped hand him things to set in the corner before sliding back to settle under the blankets, getting comfortable. // "It's a little later..." He said under his breath as they headed out to the car, unlocking the doors. "I didn't think we were going to stay all night." He grumbled, climbing into the car kind of annoyed.-
Covet: Felix then got undressed and in bed with Steph so they could do the sleep things. // Kelsey rolled her eyes, "Well you thought wrong, didn't you." She said softly before climbing into the vehicle with him.
