So firstly, I want to talk a bit about your terrain. I like the cliff, it looks really good and the floating island has good placement on the plot, normally they're a little bit unneeded, but I like it here. As well, your organics are pretty good, although I'd fix the roots on the trees at the bottom of the cliff - I think there's too many there and they're unneeded :p

The main issue on the plot is the structure. I'm really impressed you made a frame (the stone brick around the edge) because not many people do in the beginning. But you've made a little too much detail in the walls. What I would suggest, because I like the roof, if changing the frame to a dark log, and changing the clay to a lighter clay. I'd also move the roof down a couple blocks so the building wasn't quite so tall. Then add some subtle details, with trapdoors, fences, and some wooden stairs on the walls. I think this'll give a much nicer effect.

Then I'd add a quick bit of atmosphere on the plot. Maybe make some gravel/cobble paths in the ground, or make bridge from the cliff to the floating island. Just some little ideas!
