ZSR Marathon 2015

TL;DR I'm not sure I'm going to go through with the ZSR Marathon unless there's an large increase of interest.

Currently, there's about 12 people that have told me they would probably be able to make the ZSR Marathon in July. Several of them and many that aren't going said they will more likely attend SGDQ instead. This is opposed to the roughly 30 people that had said they'd be able to go to a ZSR event in July when I asked before. Because of that, I had found a hotel that will accommodate 25-40, and costs roughly $2000 for the entire event. So if the interest for this kind of event is this low, regardless the number of runners, we just won't be able to afford this kind of hotel unless people want to spend up to $200 for a 3-4 day event.

Unless there's a lot more attendees and runners that can go, I'll probably have to pull the plug next week. The hotel is waiting for me to sign a contract atm, because the rooms in the hotel are filling up. It's possible that the word just hasn't gotten around, but I'm doing everything in my ability. I messaged some people that said they might be interested but didn't submit, but only two people responded/submitted.

I'm not blaming anyone. I just feel that currently the community as a whole just doesn't want/need an event like this. We'll have to see for now. I'll let you guys know next week if there's a reversal.
