  1. Celeste Vermillion scampered off toward the Church, humming a song of prayer all the while. She was excited to spend her time cleaning such a sacred and important part of Arcadia. She hurried toward the double doors, gently creaking them open and inhaling the dust-filled Church with a smile. She looked around, debating on what she'd clean first. Her last time here, she had dusted, swept, wiped down, and mopped. But, this time? Who knew what she'd be doing!

  3. The little Priestess meanders toward one of the many Priests stationed here, "I'm here to clean, tell me, what do you reccommend I start with?" She'd ask. A few minutes later, she's guided toward the closet full of supplies. It seemed to be the same old. She sighed, grabbing at a feather duster and humming through the echoing Church as she dusted once more. A lonely time, but a time to herself that she very much needed.

  5. She began to sing as she reached over to place the bibles back into the shelves properly, picking up any pieces of trash that people might've left on the pews. Then, she sweeps, nearly dancing to her own melody. Soon, an elderly priest sombers in, "Miss, the piano could use a good scrubbing." And so, with what little time she had left, she scrubbed along the ivory keys.

  11. "Okay, so I was told to be here.. directly at.." A cart pulls up, donkey slowing to a halt. That cart held a large chest, and in this chest, the supposed jewels for the Pope. She offered a smile to the driver, "Are you Celeste Vermillion? This is for the Church." The man states, offering a scroll that she could sign off. She does so and opens the crate to look over the jewels for a mere few seconds.
  12.
  13. Then, she lifts the heavy chest with a grunt, grumbling and dragging herself toward the Church with heavy stomps. She had to stop every now and again, but all-in-all she seemed to work her way up toward the hill. Then, she set the crate down at the bottom. She wipes her brow and stares up at the blistering sky.
  14.
  15. With a heavy huff, she drags the chest with both hands, tugging it up the hill with a slow, painstaking step after step. She can't help but grumble to herself-- why leave such a task to her of all people? Maybe because she was a valued person to the Church? She didn't know. She groans. After a good twenty minutes, she's finally reached the Church. She opens the door, carrying the chest full of jewels and stares toward a Nun, "M-miss? These are for the Pope when he visits. Yes?" She nods and takes the chest up toward the jewel room.

  20. Last but not least, castle cleaning! Celeste didn't enjoy cleaning up after the King and his concubine, but nonetheless, she began work in the dining room. The castle was far too large and immaculate for such a small family-- there were houses as large as the royal bathroom, and that held at least five people! She shuddered at the thought, wiping across the large table whilst humming.

  22. Afterward, she began to dust the many chandeliers, wiping away dust on the china cabinets and vases. Then, she watered the plants, and finally began to sweep. Now, this was just the living room, but she chose to do one room at a time so as not to bother the King. She carefully swept up any debris before filling a bucket with water and soap, and utilizing a brush to scrub at the floors, making sure to scrub hard between the tiles.
  23.
  24. She had wished for a life with a man as handsome or strong as the king, but looking back to Karas and Haven, maybe it was best to walk the solo life. She thinks of such thoughts whilst finishing up the floor, scrubbing the tiles clean of grime and lifting up from her knees. She is tired, wiping at her brow and shuffling over to dump out the water and call it a day!
