- Privacy Policy for the "Red Spinner" extension
- Effective date: October 22, 2025
- This Privacy Policy explains how Red Spinner Extension ("us", "we", "our", "extension") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Chrome extension.
- By using this extension, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
- 1. What information do we collect and why?
- Our extension has two main modules with different principles of working with data:
- A) Interface enhancement module (Local processing):
- This module improves your experience of working with pages by adding visual elements and copying features.
- Data processed: The extension reads data from the page (e.g. player name, email, country, affiliate tags, payment IDs) to display it in a more convenient way (e.g. flag icons, copy buttons).
- Privacy: This information is processed exclusively locally in your browser. It is not stored, recorded or transmitted to any remote servers.
- B) Financial Status Synchronization Module (Data Collection):
- This module (which is enabled separately) allows team members to see payment statuses in real time. To provide this synchronization feature, we collect, store and transmit a limited set of data to a secure database (Google Firebase).
- We collect the following information:
- Anonymous user ID: We use Firebase anonymous authentication to create a unique ID (uid) for each extension user. This helps us identify who (anonymously within the team) has updated the status. We do not know your real name or personal information.
- Payment ID: We read the Payment ID from the page to use it as a unique key to record the status in the database.
- User action status: We record the status you selected from the drop-down menu (for example, "new", "in_progress", "checked").
- IP address (indirect collection): When you connect to Google Firebase services, your IP address may be automatically logged by the server. This is a standard practice for security and fraud prevention by Firebase.
- Timestamp: We store the time (serverTimestamp) when the status was updated.
- 2. How do we use your data?
- We use the collected data (described in paragraph 1.B) for one purpose only:
- To provide the main function of the extension: to synchronize payment statuses between all extension users on your team. This allows the team to collaborate effectively, seeing in real time what status a particular payment has.
- 3. Data storage and transfer (Third parties)
- We use Google Firebase (a service provided by Google) to operate the synchronization module. All the data listed in paragraph 1.B is stored in the Firestore database, which is hosted on Google servers.
- We do not sell or transfer your data to any third parties other than Google (to ensure the operation of Firebase).
- 4. What data do we NOT collect?
- We do not collect or share any personally identifiable information (PII), such as:
- Your real name or email (even if it is read locally by the UI module).
- Your passwords.
- Your browsing history.
- Any other information not directly related to the payment ID and its status.
- 5. Changes to this Privacy Policy
- We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
- 6. Contact Information.
