  5. Pretty good throwback album that gets increasingly more personal and real as it progresses until it hits it's peak on the last two tracks. Survivor's Guilt being a tribute to Capital STEEZ and his cousin, Junior B. Joey Bada$$ has never been my favourite rapper ever, but he has a charisma inherent to him that is still present and is kinda infectious. Outside of the guest features, JID is the only artist to deliver quality and captures the vibe of the album. But honestly, not a lot of these songs popped that much. They mostly stayed in that serviceable range for the most part with the only part that made this album unenjoyable was the Chris Brown feature. After the song with Chris Brown, the album takes a turn for the better and the remaining five songs are all great. The sensuous groove of Show Me, the honest reflection of trauma of Survivor's Guilt that got to me, and the attempt to put your best face back on afterwards on Written In The Stars. I just wish the album hit it's stride sooner.
