  1. With the achievement of 42 last night, I'm ready to move on from DKC2 any% for a while. It's a little bittersweet, as 42:59 hardly seems like a real 42 - and I know I could get much better than that given some of the mistakes in that run (but isn't that always the case?). Long term, I really would love to get a low 42 (sub-nocturne) or even a 41 - but really, I'm content for now. I don't want to grind for it.

  3. Next will be trying to apply all that work I put into any% into 102%. I improved a LOT of stages pretty significantly over the course of the last month or so, and I think that makes 1:32 a pretty attainable goal for 102%. At the very least, I need to get Dave back into 6th place...

  5. Then I'll be moving on to either DKC1 or 3, and then eventually the other. The goal here will be to work up to a sub-5 306% run, but I'll work up to that by first getting good any% times in those games - the goals being 38 and 55 respectively. I'll be tackling that practice by filling in the IL charts on the wiki leaderboard and trying to get reasonable movement through the stages. I know the levels well enough to not die, but not well enough to actually speed run them properly.

  7. After that, who knows! These goals will probably take me through July or so, and we'll definitely get a 306% race in there somehow. RPGLB, once again, was an awesome event to watch, and it makes me tempted to go harder on Diablo II to try and get that into the event next year - I don't know that they've had a D2 run yet. The 6-game NES Mega Man run is still something I'd like to do, so look for that later in the year. I'm also almost done with Zelda 1, and will be moving on to the Zelda 2 playthrough soon.
