(Scene begins in the forest.)


マサキ
「あれで諦めるようなヤツじゃねえよな?」
Masaki: I’m guessing he’s not the kind of guy that’d just give up after all that?

ショウ
「ああ。黒騎士は必ずまた来る。
アイツは執念深い」
Show: Yes. The Black Knight will definitely come back. He’s as vindictive as they come.

チャム
「しつこいったら無いのよ、もう!」
Cham: I’ve never met someone more persistent!

マサキ
「さっき程度のダメージじゃ、
すぐにでも来そうだな…。
何か手を考えねえと…」
Masaki: With how little we actually damaged him, he’ll be back before long... We need to think up a way to deal with him...

ショウ
「そうだな…」
Show: You’re right...

マサキ
「参ったぜ、勝手の違う[オーラ・バトラー]じゃ
どうにも…」
Masaki: Ah, it’s no use; I’m just too out of my element with an [Aura Machine]...

クロ
「ニャに弱気にニャってんのよ、マサキ!」
Kuro: You’re just making excuses, Masaki!

マサキ
「ク、クロ…?」
Masaki: K-Kuro...?

クロ
「勝手が違っても、ビルバインは剣を使えるんでしょ!
ニャんのための神祇無窮流よ!」
Kuro: Even if it’s not what you’re used to, Billbine can still use a sword! This is what the School of Divine Infinitude is for, isn’t it!?

マサキ
「…そうか、そうだな」
Masaki: ...Yeah, you’re right.

ショウ
「じんぎむきゅうりゅう…?」
Show: School of Divine Infinitude...?

マサキ
「俺が習った、剣術の流派だ。
地上じゃなく、ラ・ギアスのな」
Masaki: It’s the style of swordsmanship I learned. On La Gias that is, not on Upper Earth.

ショウ
「その技をビルバインで使うのか?」
Show: And you’re going to use that style with Billbine?

チャム
「出来るの?」
Cham: Can you even do that?

マサキ
「やってみなきゃわかんねえ。
オーラ斬りってのが使えねえ以上、
それしか手が…」
Masaki: I won’t know until I try. And since I can’t use the Aura Slash, this is all I got...

シロ
「来たぜ!
多分、ズワァースとドラムロ!」
Shiro: Something’s coming! Probably the Zwarth and Drumlos!

マサキ
「よっしゃ、いくぜ!」
Masaki: Alright, it’s do or die!


第3話
『神祇無窮流の神髄』
Episode 3
The Essence of the School of Divine Infinitude


(Scene begins on the map screen of the forest. Masaki is in Billbine and Black Knight is in his Zwarth.)

黒騎士
「また貴様か…。
どういう事情かは知らんが、
ショウ・ザマは戦えぬという事か…?」
Black Knight: You again... I know not the reasons, but am I correct in believing that Show Zama cannot fight?

マサキ
「へっ、てめえの相手なら
俺一人で充分だっての!」
Masaki: Heh, let’s just say I’m good enough to take you on by myself!

黒騎士
「貴様などに用はない!
私が倒すべき相手はショウ・ザマのみ!
どこにいる、ショウ・ザマ!?臆したか!」
Black Knight: I have no interest in you! The only one I aim to defeat is Show Zama! Where are you, Show Zama!? Are you afraid!?

マサキ
「俺が相手じゃ、不満だってのかよ!」
Masaki: What, you don’t want to fight me!?

黑騎士
「ショウ・ザマが出て来ぬのであれば、
貴様を倒し、ビルバインをいただくまでだ!」
Black Knight: If Show Zama will not come out, then I will defeat you and claim the Billbine for myself!

マサキ
「舐めんじゃねえ!」
Masaki: You shouldn’t underestimate me!

黑騎士
「そうかな?」
Black Knight: Is that right?

(The Black Knight moves towards Masaki and uses Aura Slash on him. A battle animation begins.)

黑騎士
「この黒騎士の剣、受けきれるか!」
Black Knight: You now face the blade of the Black Knight!

黑騎士
「死ねぇぇっ!!」
Black Knight: PERISH!!

マサキ
「てめえ!借り物に傷付けるんじゃねえ!」
Masaki: You jerk! I’m only borrowing this, so don’t wreck it!

(The battle animation ends. Masaki is damaged.)

(Cham and the others are on a tile in the forest.)

チャム
「何やってんのマサキ!
反撃してよ、反撃!」
Cham: What are you doing, Masaki!? Hit him back, hit him back!

マサキ
「あのなあ!
こっちは不慣れな機体な上に不慣れな武器だ!
そう上手くいくかよ!」
Masaki: Give me a break! I’m in a mech I’m not used to, using weapons I’m not used to! Excuse me if I’m not good at it!

マサキ
「せめて、使い慣れた武器なら…」
Masaki: If I at least had a weapon I was familiar with, then...

クロ
「そうか!その手があったわ!」
Kuro: That’s it! That’ll work!

シロ
「その手?」
Shiro: What will?

クロ
「ディスカッターよ!
マサキにディスカッターを渡せば!」
Kuro: The Discutter! We need to get the Discutter to Masaki!

ショウ
「だが、どうやって?
マサキにここまで来てもらうのか?」
Show: But how? Should we try to get Masaki to come over here?

シロ
「ちゃんとした操縦は無理だけど、
オイラたちにもサイバスターは動かせる!」
Shiro: We can’t pilot it properly, but we should be able to move Cybuster ourselves!

クロ
「ディスカッターをニャげるくらいの
エネルギーはあるしね!」
Kuro: And we should have enough energy to at least toss him the Discutter!

ショウ
「わかった、頼んだぞ」
Show: I see, then we’re counting on you.

クロ
「任せて!
マサキ、聞こえる!?」
Kuro: Leave it to us! Masaki, can you hear us!?

マサキ
「なんだ、クロ!
こっちは手が離せねえんだ!」
Masaki: What is it, Kuro!? I’m kind of in the middle of something here!

シロ
「今からディスカッターをそっちにニャげる!
ちゃんと受け止めろよ!」
Shiro: We’re sending the Discutter to your right nyaow! Be very careful when you catch it!

マサキ
「なにっ!?なんだって!?」
Masaki: Wait, what!? You’re doing WHAT!?

クロ
「受け取ってーーーっ!!」
Kuro: Here it coooomes!!

(Kuro and Shiro throw the Discutter at Masaki.)

マサキ
「マジで投げてきやがった!
このっ!」
Masaki: Holy crap, they’re seriously throwing it! Those little--!

(Masaki catches the Discutter.)

マサキ
「おっしゃ!」
Masaki: Oh yeah!

クロ
「ニャイスキャッチ!」
Kuro: Nyice catch!

マサキ
「ちょいとサイズはでかいが…
この使い慣れたディスカッターなら!」
Masaki: It’s a little big... But it’s still the Discutter I know and love!

マサキ
「剣を己の一部と化し、意識を集中…
剣にプラーナを行き渡させろ…」
Masaki: Focus my thoughts... Let the sword become a part of my self... Let my Prana flow into the sword...

マサキ
「いくぜっ!」
Masaki: Let’s do this!

(Masaki attacks the Black Knight with Discutter Prana Slash. A battle animation begins.)

マサキ
「思い出せ…!」
Masaki: I have to remember...!

マサキ
「ゼオルートのおっさんの太刀筋を!」
Masaki: Old man Zeolute’s swordsmanship!

マサキ
「おおらああっ!」
Masaki: Ooryaa!

マサキ
「ディスカッター、乱舞の太刀!」
Masaki: Discutter, Dancing Sword!

マサキ
「じゃなかった、プラーナ斬り!!」
Masaki: No, this is the Prana Slash!!

マサキ
「これで!」
Masaki: And this!

マサキ
「とどめを刺せばっ!!」
Masaki: Is the final thrust!!

黒騎士
「何だと!?」
Black Knight: But how!?

(Battle animation ends. The Black Knight has taken significant damage.)

マサキ
「くっ、落とせなかったか!
いきなりだったからな…!」
Masaki: Tch, so that wasn’t enough to take him down! I guess it was pretty improvised...!

黑騎士
「おのれ、あのような大剣を…!」
Black Knight: Damn you, using such a massive sword...!

マサキ
「だが、ダメージは与えたぜ!
このまま押し切ってやる!」
Masaki: But it sure as hell did a number on him! Now I just need to tear right through him!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends when the Black Knight is at 30% HP.)

黑騎士
「くっ、付け焼き刃で
この私を倒せると思うな…!」
Black Knight: Ngh! Don’t think you can defeat me with such a hastily prepared sword!

(Drumlos appear.)

マサキ
「ちっ、まだいたのかよ!?」
Masaki: Tch, there’s still more of them!?

黑騎士
「これも策の内よ!
さあ、覚悟するがいい!」
Black Knight: I had planned for this! Now, I hope you are prepared!


(Scene ends.)

(Next scene picks up where it left off.)


黑騎士
「念には念を…。
ここでビルバインを取り逃がすわけには
いかんのでな」
Black Knight: I will take all the precautions I must... I will not allow Billbine to escape my grasp here.

マサキ
「ふん、数を出しゃいいってもんじゃねえ!
やってやるぜ!」
Masaki: Hmph, send out however many you like! I’ll take ‘em all down!

(Battle 2 begins.)

(Battle 2 ends when the Black Knight is defeated.)

黒騎士
「おのれ…!
あのようなどこの馬の骨とも知れぬ輩に!」
Black Knight: You accursed...! Damn this outsider who appeared from nowhere!

(The Black Knight and any surviving Drumlos leave the map.)

チャム
「やったー!逃げてった!」
Cham: Yaaay! He ran away!

マサキ
「へっ!見たか!」
Masaki: Heh! You see that!?

チャム
「やるじゃない、マサキ」
Cham: That was pretty good, Masaki.

マサキ
「当たり前だ!」
Masaki: Well of course it was!

チャム
「でも、ショウにはかなわないけどね」
Cham: But it doesn’t hold a candle to what Show can do.

マサキ
「へいへい」
Masaki: Hey, come on now.


(Scene changes back to the forest.)


ショウ
「助かったよ、マサキ。すごかったな」
Show: You saved us, Masaki. You were really amazing out there.

マサキ
「ビルバインがいい機体だったおかげでもある。
それに神祇無窮流の神髄にも気付かせてもらった」
Masaki: Well part of it was thanks to Billbine being such a good machine. It helped me to remember the essence of the School of Divine Infinitude.

チャム
「マサキにも聖戦士の素質があるのかもね」
Cham: Maybe Masaki has the potential to be an Aura Battler.

マサキ
「聖戦士?」
Masaki: An Aura Battler?

ショウ
「強いオーラ力を持ち、
オーラ・バトラーを自在に操る地上人の事さ」
Show: They’re [Upper Earthlings] that have strong [Aura Power] and can easily control Aura Machines.

マサキ
「エースみたいなものか?」
Masaki: So they’re kind of like aces?

ショウ
「ああ、そうだな」
Show: Yes, that’s right.

チャム
「ショウはフォイゾン王やシーラ様に
聖戦士って認められたのよ」
Cham: Show was recognized as an Aura Battler by King Foizon and Queen Ciela.

ショウ
「いや…俺はまだ、所詮は戦いの駒に過ぎない…。
もっと大局的にものを見なければ、
ドレイクには太刀打ちできない」
Show: No... In the end, I’m still no more than a chess piece in the battle... If you aren’t able to see the bigger picture, then you won’t be able to cross swords with Drake.

マサキ
「地上を征服しようとしている覇王ってヤツか。
だったら、心配はいらねえぜ。
なんせ、この俺とサイバスターが味方につくんだ」
Masaki: So that’s the ruler that wants to take over Upper Earth. Well, don’t worry. ‘Cuz now you got me and Cybuster as your allies.

ショウ
「マサキ…いいのか?
シュウの事は…」
Show: Masaki...are you sure? What about Shu...?

マサキ
「地上が混乱するってんなら、
シュウのヤツはきっとそれに乗じてくる」
Masaki: If there’s trouble brewing on Upper Earth, then I’m sure Shu’s gonna take advantage of it.

マサキ
「それに前にも言ったが、
地上を戦場にするのは許せねえからな!」
Masaki: And besides, it’s just like you said before. We can’t let Upper Earth become a battleground!

ショウ
「マサキ…恩に着る」
Show: Masaki... I’m in your debt.

チャム
「それじゃ、ショウのケガとサイバスターが
治り次第、ゼラーナを探しましょ!」
Cham: Well alright! Then let’s go find the Zelena as soon as Show’s injuries heal and Cybuster repairs itself!

マサキ
「おう!この戦いを止めねえとな!」
Masaki: Yeah! We’re gonna put a stop to this fight!

Upper Earthling

From:       Aura Battler Dunbine

A term used to refer to people from outside the different dimension Byston Well.
It is said that they have stronger Aura Power than any human born in Byston Well.


オーラ力

「オーラちから」と読む。
生体エネルギーによる力で、異世界バイストン・ウェルの維持に使われている他、オーラマシンを様動させるためにも使用されている。

Aura Power

From:       Aura Battler Dunbine

Read as “Aura Chikara” in romanji.
Energy from a living being, it is a power that is used to maintain Byston Well as well as control Aura Machines.


オーラバトラー

登場作品    聖戦士ダンバイン

オーラカを原動力に動く人型機械兵器の総称。
恐獣と呼ばれる巨大肉食獣の筋繊維や甲殻を使用して建造されており、虫に似た外見をしているものが多い。

Aura Battler

From:       Aura Battler Dunbine

A general term for humanoid mechanical weapons powered by Aura Power.
They are built using the muscle fibers and shells of giant carnivores, many of which have similar appearances to insects.
