I wouldn't be so sure about that benign change in his behaviour, actually. Recently just assisted in killing + stripping + disposaling a player over a minor D&D related issue and then forgetting about him until this issue was brought up to him. However, he has shown regret over this and claims that he is actually improving. Banned from Captain, Head of Personnel, Head of Security, Chief Engineer, Research Director, Chief Medical Officer - As a Non-Antagonist CE, Misunderstood the AI and believed the CMO took his hardsuit boots. He stripped the CMO to look for them, and upon not finding them, imprisoning the CMO in order to establish where they were hidden. CMO had not a fucking clue where the boots are, but didn't play along to interrogation (said nothing other than (abbr.) 'I will only talk to security' ) and thus wasn't released.
