  1. ThoMario86 TH18 Sanae Normal 1cc
  2.
  3. Stage 1 - Pretty standard perfect clear. You seem to be relying heavily on Sanae's focused shot, which is fine (it's a good shot), but the lack of mobility caused you to miss a few enemies and items. Doesn't really matter much though.
  4.
  5. Mike - Standard perfect clear! Really not much to say about it, tbh. I'm eager to see what kind of shenanigans you're planning with it.
  6.
  7. Stage 2 - What was with that opening bomb? I'm guessing it was an accident from trying to use Megumu's card. Some of your movements seemed rather risky, which led to getting hit on the second half, though that was a nice deathbomb you fired there! Generally, for non-trivial sections, I'd suggest staying near the bottom of the screen, which is usually safer (but not the absolute bottom, since you want more freedom of movement). Midboss Takane was perfect cleared nicely.
  8.
  9. Takane - Wasn't expecting that early hit, but at least Eirin saved you there. I guess the side bullets can be hard to read if you're near the corners. First spell nicely captured, though it seems a little risky to rely entirely on full vertical movement. Second non turned out better than the first, carefully avoiding the bullet curves. For the second spell, I never actually thought of exploiting the small bullet clear on the Rice card to bypass waves like this, that was cool! Nice capture on her final spell, finding the safe areas even when they were getting narrow. Tewi is a good choice, helping deathbombs and providing better security for your funds.
  10.
  11. Stage 3 - Ah, there's Yukari, warping across to trivialize streaming sections, which Stage 3 has quite a bit of. That being said, I think you should still slow down during streaming sections when you're NOT next to an edge, since you might otherwise get trapped, which is what led you to dying before the midboss. Midboss Sannyo cleared with a nice deathbomb (thanks, Tewi!), followed by some rather impressive dodges for the rest of the stage.
  12.
  13. Sannyo - First non can get pretty intense, and was worth the panicbomb imo. Byakuren helped shorten the first spell for a capture. For the second non, I was worried that you'd get overwhelmed by bullets after the Rice bullet clear, but you managed to dodge them! The bomb at the end of the non was unnecessary, but I guess you didn't realize that the non was almost over, and Byakuren caused it to outright skip the second spell, so it paid off. Final non cleared with a nice deathbomb (though I assume you were well prepared to bomb once the bullets approached). Using Yukari for the final spell seemed incredibly risky (with all the pink bullets everywhere), but you made it through and then bombskipped the rest. Buying the extra life is always a safe choice if the other abilities on sale aren't good enough to reliably save a whole life.
  14.
  15. Stage 4 - It seems like your playstyle being a lot safer for this stage, which is good, and it allowed you to dodge almost everything. Great job! The midboss, in particular, had some really close shaves, and I felt like using Yukari was rather risky. You did die to the big fairy shortly after the midboss, which was quite understandable and is probably the hardest part of the stage.
  16.
  17. Misumaru - I find Misumaru's yin-yang orbs to be really annoying. All of her nons are bombskip material, which Byakuren helped with. However, I'm very impressed that you captured her second and third spells, that was quite amazing! It looks like you're good at finding small openings between slow overlapping bullets. Once again, another extra life purchased.
  18.
  19. Stage 5 - I think the opening streaming section could have easily been overcome with Yukari, so that bomb could've been saved, but at least you didn't die. You did use Yukari to avoid the purple streaming clumps later, at least. The radiating blue spirals are tougher when you're near the sides of the screen, so I can understand dying there. Yukari makes the homing yellow fireballs a joke, it seems.
  20.
  21. Midboss Tsukasa is worth the bombskip. Great micrododging after the midbos, and even the spirits from below were handled easily by Sanae's snakes. The overlapping stars can be hard to dodge when near the center, so the bomb is understandable, but remaining near the right side could have helped. I like how Byakuren obliterated them so thoroughly that there was a brief period of Sanae just sitting there with no enemies or bullets in sight.
  22.
  23. I'm not surprised that Yukari would fail on the bullet lines, and Eirin's save didn't last long until you actually died. This section gets a lot harder when you're near the bottom, and you actually want to stay higher up, near the center of the screen, so you have more freedom of movement to navigate through gaps, as well as the choice of backing down until better gaps arise. The last big fairy of the stage deserved Byakuren's punishment.
  24.
  25. Megumu - Looks like you tried to use Megumu's Rice ability against her, but it didn't work and you had to bomb soon after that anyway. That hit on the first spell seemed like you were really distracted, which Eirin cleared up. I'm actually surprised that Yukari worked out for the rest of the first spell. Second non was nicely cleared, but I was surprised that you lasted so long in the second spell despite having some really risky positions. I actually find her third non to be the easiest, but I guess it was still safer to bomb there once you were backed into the bottom. Byakuren helped with the third spell, but you still cleared one iteration nicely before capturing. Final spell bombskipped, though I should point out that Sanae bombskipping works better if you exploit the long bomb duration to shotgun the boss unfocused (which hits really hard, especially with Byakuren making it last for so long). Still, you were able to dodge the rest of the spell after the bomb, so there were no further losses. Interesting choice of buying Tsukasa's Ability, though I suppose the Rice Ability helps reduce the risks.
  26.
  27. Stage 6 - First few waves dodged well, and then a bomb when fairies came out from the bottom, which I understand can be troublesome. You handled the red bullets particularly well. Tsukasa, as usual, is always worth bombskipping. Aimed colored bullet clumps were macrododged, though I'm not sure if Yukari actually helped, and you eventually got trapped and had to bomb out. Random colored bullet clumps cleared to reach the final boss.
  28.
  29. Chimata - Bombed at first non right at the overlap, which makes sense. For her first spell, you want to stay low on the screen for as long as you can, quickly backing down after each wave. If you slowed down your ascent at the beginning, it might have saved you the second bomb. That being said, I'm glad you did fire the second bomb instead of banking on the spell ending before you were screwed.
  30.
  31. You survived for quite a while on the second non, and I'm surprised you didn't bomb earlier. The late bomb allowed Byakuren to help with the second spell, which you managed to survive really well on, but sadly ended up dying right near the end.
  32.
  33. Yukari on the third spell was a pleasant surprise, and I actually think you could've captured it if you also tried to dodge between bullet sets instead of focusing solely on Yukari. Yukari really does make this spell a lot easier, I think, redirecting bullet sets away to create large gaps. I also think you should've used the Rice Ability as soon as it was ready, because the low Power really hurt a lot and dragged out this spell for too long.
  34.
  35. Understandable bombskip on the next non, and then comes the survival. You were doing pretty well at first, and even succeeded at the first direction change. After that, your clockwise cycle wasn't fast enough and you got hit. It only got worse from there, but you were able to bomb, and then messed up on a direction change. Generally, you don't want to wait until the direction-changing part reaches you, but you should try to slip across ahead and then change your circular direction. Also, I personally feel that this spell is easier focused than unfocused, though I suppose the pressure on speed for focused might get intense.
  36.
  37. I was a little worried that you had no lives left at this point, but it looks like you learned your lesson about proactive bombing and made very good use of your four bombs + Tsukasa, and even had one remaining bomb to spare! Not much for me to say about the last two spells, tbh, except you did a good job of exploiting your last set of bombs without giving up.
  38.
  39. Overall - To be honest, your general dodging skills are actually quite impressive, allowing you to get through some relatively challenging sections. You also made good use of your bombs, firing them in moments of doubt and staying alive. You didn't rely on Eirin much, which is a good indicator of your own skill at bomb management.
  40.
  41. On the other hand, while your reactive dodging is great, I feel like you struggle quite a bit for sections that require planned movements to overcome. In particular, you seem to be bad at streaming, but at least Yukari helps with that to an extent, while you struggle with the trickier spells that require planned approaches instead of pure reactions. But at least you can proactively bomb for such sections, allowing you to get through the game and achieve your first 1cc. Congratulations!
