- Alexithymiaa: -Steph stood in the laundry room desperately trying to finish her Sunday chores before her body gave up on her. She'd woken up feeling like garbage and had only progressively felt worse as the day went on. Leaning over the ironing board, she slid the hot iron over one of Felix's shirts, smoothing out the wrinkles while coughing in the opposite direction.-
- Covet: Felix was in the kitchen making himself a half sandwich to go with his juice. Walking into the laundry room he looked at Steph, while leaning against the door frame, "You know you don't have to iron my shirts, I really don't mind the wrinkles." He said stuffing the sandwich into his mouth.
- Alexithymiaa: "No, but I mind the wrinkles. That's why I don't ask you to do it, I just do it for you because it's not fair if I'm the one that wants it." She said, leaning her heaad into her arm to rub her already red nose.-
- Covet: "But.. they're my shirts... so you're just giving yourself extra work." He said then looked at her furrowing her brow, "You don't look so good, still what you were starting to feel from last week before the show?"
- Alexithymiaa: "They're your shirts that I don't like wrinkled." She stressed, leaning the iron up and then picking up his shirt to shake it out and examine it to make sure she'd done a thorough job. "Yeah, I guess. My throat hurts, my head hurts, and my nose is awful. Yay seasonal sickness." She said in monotone with a roll of her eyes. "Here, go hang this up."-
- Covet: Felix looked at the shirt, then took it from her. "Have you taken anything for it? To make it not so shitty?" He asked her then held onto it until he heard from her. "You sound like you need some tea with lemon and honey."
- Alexithymiaa: "I would love some tea with lemon and honey." She forced a smile and then pointed to the shirt in his hands. "...after you hang that up so it doesn't get wrinkled. And after I finish the laundry." She leaned down to pick up the next shirt from the basket, laying it out flat across the board.-
- Covet: "Fine.." He said with a groan as he walked off with his head back, on his way to the bedroom he intentionall squished it so it was wrinkled again, because it was his shirt and wrinkles meant it was soft and comfortable. When he came back he made sure to put the kettle on the stove and pulled out a couple of mugs, though he was gonna make himself some hotchocolate.
- Alexithymiaa: (SHE HAS AA HOT IRON IN HER HAND YOU DUMBASS.)
- Alexithymiaa: -Sliding the iron over her own shirt she'd laid out, she raised her nasally voice to call out to him. "I'm stopping by the shelter tomorrow after class to volunteer for a little while. Do you want to come and stop me from bringing anything home?"-
- Covet: "Sure, I can if you want me to." He said making his way back over to the door frame. "I could go play with some animals, but it's on you if Nugget gets upset because I smell like strange dog."
- Alexithymiaa: "I'm sure if you bribe him with a milkbone he'll get over it pretty fast. He usually does when I volunteer." Inspecting her shirt, she turned to grab a hanger, sliding it on and passing it to him to hang up. "You don't have to come if you don't want to though. I just try to spend some time there every month."-
- Covet: "Yeah this is true... he's pretty easy to win over like that." Felix said. He looked at her shirt and decided he wouldn't wrinkle hers, he knew when to not push too many buttons. He walked it into the bedroom to hang it up, then checked the water on his way back. It still wasn't boiling but it was making those rumbling noises. "I'll go, I don't mind." He smiled at her.
- Alexithymiaa: "And we're not going to end up bringing home another furry family member?" She confirmed because she didn't want another even though she definitely would when they got there.-
- Covet: "Not unless they have like.. a really cool exotic one. Then I can't make any promises." Felix said with a nod. He went into the kitchen again to get her tea bag out and the honey and lemon juice.
- Alexithymiaa: "Arizona." She said firmly, grabbing her dress from the basket to spread out. "No more. We don't have the room for anything else. Unless they have like... a baby serval. We would have room for a baby serval. The likelihood of that though is slim to none."-
- Covet: "But but... I was kind of thinking about a Sugar Glider pair" Felix said from the kitchen the water starting to boil a little bit but not quite there.
- Alexithymiaa: "The shelter doesn't usually get those kinds of exotics. It's animals they find around Portland and sugar gliders are not animals you just find roaming Portland. That's a special order kind of pet." She ran the iron over the dress, coughing into her hand. "And I'd be nervous the cats would eat them."-
- Covet: "Boo. I'd keep them safe and make the cats be good with them. It's all about acclimation." Felix said "Do you have any cold medecine around?"
- Alexithymiaa: "I don't usually keep cold medicine in the house. It's not something I like to take." She said as she shook out the dress and turned the iron off, letting it cool down as she stepped out of the laundry room. "I don't know... I think Harvey would eat them the first second he had the chance."-
- Covet: "Not even just... general relief stuff?" Felix asked because this was insane, "Nothing heavy like sudafed or nyquil, I'm just talking something for the nose and throat situation." He told her, then scoffed. "It's adorable that you have that much faith in how fast they are, and how fast he isn't."
- Alexithymiaa: "I've really never been keen on taking medicine that wasn't absolutely necessary..." She trailed off, turning to watch Harvey waddle his fat ass slowly by them and into the living room. She turned back to Felix, raising her brows. "You were saying?"-
- Covet: "How is it not absolutely necessary. You look and sound miserable, Red." He said then looked at Harvey, pointing down at him. " My point exactly. He'd give one look at them and be like. nope too fast for me. I'm going to go whine for scraps with the dogs instead."
- Alexithymiaa: "I'll get over it..." She mumbled, wiping her nose. "Hey be nice to him... he's just the cat version of a foodie." Folding her dress neatly into a little square, she set it down on the counter and walked over to scoop Harvey up, craddling him in her arms and stroking his head. "Besides, they have to sleep eventually. And he's nothing if not persistent."-
- Covet: " Why do you got to ruin everything Harvey." He said with a grumble going about making Steph's tea putting the bag in and pouring the water over it before adding the lemon juice, and handing her the honey so she could put however much she wanted in.
- Alexithymiaa: "Shhh don't listen to him. You were here first." She whispered to the cat in her arms before leaning down to set him on the floor. "Thanks." She started to doctor her tea with honey, only adding a little bit because she doesn't like anything too sweet. "But about a serval..."-
- Covet: "Wait. why do you get your pet but I can't get mine? Wouldn't a serval eat one of the other cats? Regardless if it is a bigger cat?" Felix said in protest.
- Alexithymiaa: "Because my pet will hold it's own against Harvey. And no, cats are pack animals. If anything they'll all just gang up on Penny and Nugget, but they alreaady do that so what's the harm in one more?" She asked with a smile, bringing the mug up to her lips to take a sip of the tea.-
- Covet: "You're going to put my poor boy at the mercy of a half wild animal?" Felix said with an even more dramatic tone to his voice. "It's one thing when it's just the assholes around here, but that's just cruel, he's just a baby." He said, when he really wasn't much of a baby anymore.
- Alexithymiaa: "Oh my god, you're the baby." She said with a roll of her eyes, taking another sip of her tea before setting it down on the counter and walking back into the laundry room to put the cooled iron away. "If you don't want one, we won't get one. It's just much more practical than sugar gliders."-
- Covet: "No it's practical because you say it's practical." Felix said then went about making his hot chocolate, and making non specific grumbling noises.
- Alexithymiaa: -She coughed into her hand and leaned around the doorway, raising her brows and glaring at him. "I'm sorry, what?"- ( Me: https://media.tenor.com/images/c9270a459f34b71442955cc9f664185c/tenor.gif )
- Covet: [ahahaha]
- Covet: "Nothing I'm mumbling to myself." He said in an abnoxious tone while reaching into the fridge for the whipped cream taking the lid off to spray some in his mouth before sticking his tongue out at Steph.
- Alexithymiaa: "Really, because I'm pretty sure I heard you sarcastically say that it's only practical because I said so. That must have been my ears playing tricks on me though, right? Because you wouldn't say that. Being sick has that effect." She was advising him to take it back TAKE IT BACK FELIX. Picking up the laundry basket of remaining clothes that needed to be folded, she walked back out into the kitchen. "Is there anything else you want washed for the week?"-
- Covet: "Yeah probably." He said with a mouth full of whipped cream still then shook his head. "No I'm good." He told her then sprayed a bunch more onto his hot chocolate before putting it away. "You about ready to go to bed?" He asked like he didn't have a full mug of hot chocolate right now. He wasn't sleeping for shit.
- Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, I just need to finish folding the rest of this." She set the basket down on the stool, reaching for her tea to take another few sips before grabbing the basket to hold at her hip. "Are you getting into bed with that?"-
- Covet: "No I'm going to drink it while you're folding. Duh." He said as he took it and licked at the whipped cream on the top. Then followed her along to the bedroom to bother her while she folded clothes.
