You then take the time to climb atop the Dragon, and end up sitting on her neck, holding on to a spike, strangely enough, there seems to be a form of... false mental connection between yourself and the dragon. Not a true one that allows you to actually truly telepathically communicate to her, but instead a means of giving her orders of what she should do. This must be a result of her blessing applying even to her! Of course, her being who she is, those commands would likely be little more than suggestions to her, but there's very little reason she would refuse to follow them anyway.
