A Canterlot Wedding pt. 2

>It’s dark.... VERY dark.
>Are you dead?
>”Sorry about that, you’re just too close.” Twilight’s voice rings out.
>You stand on the... Stone? Yeah stone floor. “Where am I?” You shout to the darkness.
>”The caves beneath Canterlot. Where greedy unicorns would become lost trying to claim the gems that were inside.”
>You growl to yourself, but otherwise stay silent. Why would she do this?
>”Oh,” She says in a mocking tone. “Not even going to scream for help? It’s not like anyp0ny will be missing you... Not until it’s too late that is.” Her maniacal laughter fades into the dark and you’re left all alone.
>Your eyes adjust to the darkness slightly. Just enough for you to be able to move around without ramming into everything.
>Up ahead.... There’s a light.
>It’s dim and purple but damnit, it’s more than you’ve got now.
>Just around the corner and....
>”YOU!” You shout as you lunge for that traitorous purple p0ny.
>Why’d she come down here too? To torment you more? Doesn’t matter. She’ll pay!
>You easily take her to the ground, your blade up and ready to strike.
>She shrieks and begs you not to.
>”Give me one reason...” You snarl, ready for it.
>She looks at you with fear filled eyes. “Because I’m the REAL Twilight, you have to believe me...”
>Just as you’re about to finish this lying bitch, scaly arms wrap around you. “Easy buddy... She’s telling the truth.”
>”Spike?” You ask, he HAS gotten a lot bigger. Almost as big as you. “I thought you were... doing something dragon-y”
>He lets you go. Twilight answers for him. “We’re trapped here, imprisoned...”

>After a heartfelt apology, she tells you all about being replaced and changlings and feeding on love and all sorts of bad stuff.
>”I THINK I’ve found a way out, but... we need to fly...” She says, dropping her head.
>Spikes wings have grown, but he’s nowhere near flying capable.
>The mood quickly drops again and you all spend the day and most of the night finding another way out
>Twilight whispers dejectedly. “We need a miracle...”
>Despite the mood, you can’t help but chuckle. “We need The......”
>Wheezing sound.... That glorious wheezing sound.
>Twilight’s mouth drops as a blue box materializes before her.
>That glorious bastard sticks his head out, and looks rather confused at his surroundings. “Huh, interference through me off.... OH! Hello Anon, what are you doing down here?”
>You help Twilight up and start to tell him. “Doctor we...”
>”No time! I figured everything out, we need to stop this wedding, get in.” He shouts as you all pile into the TARDIS.
>Twilight and Spike stare wide eyed. “This is amazing magic,” Twilight says in awe.
>Fortunately, The Doctor’s too preoccupied to argue his science.
>”That infuriating shield’s still wreaking havoc with me, I don’t want to dematerialize.” He says as the ship lurches slightly.
>You grab a rail. “Then how are we going to get out of here?” You ask.
>He gives you the crazy eyes. “Straight UP!”
>Before you can question, he shouts “GERONIMO!”
>Judging by the racket, you believe him.

>The entire TARDIS shakes violently as you assume it pounds through hundreds, maybe thousands of tons of rock.
>With one last shudder and a rumble, it’s finally quiet.
>”We’re here, how do I look?” He asks, spinning a circle, but before you can answer he says. “Don’t answer that, I know I look fabulous.”
>He throws open the door.... You emerged RIGHT in the middle of the wedding... Literally.
>”I OBJECT!” He shouts. “I don’t even know if that’s where you’re at, I just wanted to say it.” He smirks and adjusts his tie as you follow him out.
>Luna steps forward from the ceremony. “DOCTOR! What is the meaning of this?!?”
>He points an accusing hoof. “Cadence.... IS EVIL!”
>You facepalm and lean in. “It’s not Cadence Doctor... It’s Twilight.”
>”TWILIGHT!? Are you sure?” He exclaims.
>You shake your head and step forward. “Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, I’m sorry for ruining your wedding, but THAT’S not the real Twilight Sparkle.
>”I AM,” The real Twilight calls as she steps out.
>The crowd murmurs as the fake Twilight stares and sneers.
>Applejack looks between the two. “Two of em? How’s that possible?”
>Twi explains all about the Changelings and how they consume love.
>That sets her off and she shows her TRUE form.

>She identifies herself as Queen of the Changelings.
>”What is this?” The Doctor asks. “Simple infiltration? Or full blown invasion?”
>She giggles darkly. “Conquest and consumption.”
>”Impossible!” Cadence shouts. “His protection spell will keep anything you have out.”
>More dark giggles... Like she’s just toying with us. “Oh I doubt that, isn’t that right my beloved ‘brother’?”
>Armors eyes glaze over as he nods.
>You raise your shield and blade.
>”Ah ah aaaah...” The queen warns, “You don’t want to go back to the caves now do you?” She turns to Armor as you lower your weapon. “Ever since I took Twilight’s place I’ve been feeding off his love for her.” She looks at Twilight who’s shaking in anger. “Your brother does love you greatly, nothing better then the unconditional love of a family.”
>She hovers in the air. “Before my army breaks through that barrier... I am very interested in your magical box Doctor-p0ny.” As you turn in horror, a blue bubble forms around the TARDIS.
>”SPIKE!” you shout as the purple dragon pokes his head out the door.... he found the cupcake room.
>The doctor pounds against the bubble, separated from his beloved box. “LOCK THE DOOR!”
>He does and you hear the queen behind you. “It matters not. Before I conquer this land... I think I’ll....”
>A purple beam impacts the ground and Luna comes forward. “Anon, my knight. You have protected me enough, it is time I returned the favor. Go and help my p0nies. I shall deal with her.”
>The Doctor turns to you. “Time to do what I do best.” You’re joined by your friends and Scootaloo as The Doctor shouts, “RUN.”

>You all head out the door.
>Above you can see small black dots swarm the shield.
>”What are we going to do?” Rainbow asks as you all just run in no particular direction.
>Sorry Doctor. “The Elements... It’s our only hope.”
>Twilight sighs. “We can’t, not without....”
>You glance to the desaturated Pinky. She grimly nods. “You’re just going to have to trust me right now Twi.” You say.
>As you go, you begin shouting orders to any guard you see. Ordering them to get civilians inside.
>You know you could be in for a fight anytime. That’s why your blade.... is.... fading?
>Oh no. Something must have happened to Luna. Don’t stop Anon, you need The Elements, it’s your only hope....
>There’s a deafening shatter and a rush of air as pressure equalizes.
>You instinctively throw yourself over Scootaloo as pieces of the once powerful shield falls around you.
>You make sure she’s ok and shout. “HERE THEY COME!”
>The fight to the vault Twilight leads is a run and bash affair.
>Those creatures just plummet from the sky.
>Before you know, Canterlot is swarmed.
>But you’re all close.... so close.

>You climb a flight of stairs and there stands a small army.
>”Looks like we’re gonna have to do this the hard way.” Rainbow says, pounding her hoofs together.
>Next to you, Applejack nods. “Right beside ya.” Like you’d need to ask.
>You, Dash, and AJ walk up. The first three creatures morph into exact mirrors of you all...
>Oh that’s right, Changelings.
>You smirk. “I think you’re under the impression I give a damn about myself,” You give your witty one liner before throwing a hard right and sending the faux you sprawling. Then you roar, “IN TO THEM!”
>The fight is pure chaos. You swing wildly at your friends.
>Twilight shoots a magic blast The Doctor takes interest in. He pulls out a weird green rod thing and studies her horn.
>You’re tackled by an orange pegasus... No, of all the forms.... why this?
>”DAD!” You hear Scootaloo scream in the distance. “HIT ME!”
>”I.... I can’t” You say as you struggle.
>”UGH! I’m running off with Snips and we’ll have lots of kids and never see us again because I hate you.... SO HIT ME!” At least she’s trying. The decision’s made for you when Twi blasts it off your chest.
>You get back up and swing and swing. Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow, Rarity again, Applejack, another Rainbow, Appl..... You pause and nod to her.
>She smirks. “How’d ya know it was me?”
>You give her a wink. “I know.”
>The Doctor holds up his green thing and a pulse sends all the surrounding things flying back.... You did it.
>The elements are just ahead.
>”Hope we don’t run into any more,” The Doctor says. “Burned out my Screwdriver.”
>Whatever that means.
>There it is.... Throw open the doors and.....
>Changelings... Changelings everywhere.

>As you all are brought back into the chamber, the Queen turns to Cadence. “You were saying?”
>She dismisses her followers, leaving Luna encased in some sort of cocoon thing.
>”It’s a shame,” The Queen says, staring at you. “Anon here knew something was amiss, too bad he trusted his friend and not you dear Cadence.”
>Yup, you screwed the pooch on this one.
>She turns and sings a little song to herself about how the day’s been perfect. Twilight goes to tiphoof to Cadence.
>You lean in and whisper, “If you have a plan, do it... I’ll distract her.”
>”HEY! Queen Cheeselegs!” You start, angling yourself away from Cadence. “You defeated my Princess and taken my home. Give me a reason I shouldn’t start throwing blows.”
>She laughs at you. “Poor tough knight. Are you always so violent?” She slowly walks towards you, “You must be so.... lonely. In a land that’s not truly yours.”
>Her form changes into something you haven’t seen in a long time.... A VERY long time...
>It’s not perfect, but she’s human.
>For the first time since... well, you can really remember. You feel fingers glide across your cheeks. “I can be WHOever, or WHATever you wish.”
>You close your eyes and enjoy the feeling while it lasts.
>”You can be anything I want?” You ask breathlessly.
>She whispers in your ear. “ANYthing.”
>You take a deep breathe.... The consequences....

>”I want you to be.... I want you to be dead.” Before she can react, you punch her in the stomach with your left and cheap shot her with a right.
>Well, she beat Luna, what’d YOU really expect to do.
>She’s instantly back in her p0ny horse form thing.
>Your legs fly out from under you and she pins you to the ground.
>You look over and see Armor attempting to cast his shield spell. The Doctor smiles at the two of them and mentions something about ‘sharing with him some of her love’
>The Queen sees them and leans in to you. “I can finish them soon enough, but first I want to finish you in a very visceral fashion.’
>Her horn hurts.... like, a lot!
>Doesn’t help she uses her magic to pierce your armor. Just below the sternum... Didn’t need a liver anyways.
>Look on the bright side, you can still be the hero.
>You throw your hands up and grab her horn.
>”You’re staying right here....” You grunt, keeping her firmly planted inside of you.
>Well, shouldn’t be long. You turn and see Scootaloo, shame she had to see this. Applejack has to keep her restrained.
>You give them both a smile before the world goes white and you pass out from the pain as you feel the Queen tear from your body.

>Oh yeah, this bed is soooooooo comfy.
>Hey, you don’t hurt at all.
>You give a stretch and hear that quirky accent. “Hello there.”
>You look over and see him, waiting bedside. “Hello Doctor... How long have I been out?”
>He counts on his hooves, maths in the air, squints in thought. Damn must have been a LONG time.
>”Two days,” He says.
>You look under your bandages. There’s almost no scar. “That’s impossible.”
>He smiles, “That Twilight’s a quick study. Gave her a book on human anatomy I had lying around as well as a medical journal and she worked her magical magic.”
>”So what happened?” You ask, unclear on any of the details.
>”Why the power of love.” he says. “Cadence and Armor reactivated the shield and sent the Changelings back to their own land.”
>You nod and it hits you. “We were invaded.... I guess this means we’re at war again.” Shit, you thought you were done with all that.
>”Not at all!” The Doctor proclaims. “I promised Luna I’d handle it. Besides, I needed to see some of my Graske friends anyways.”
>You’re interrupted by your favorite two mares.
>Applejack and Scootaloo enthusiastically, but gently hug you.... So does The Doctor, but you don’t mind.
>The wedding’s rescheduled and is as wonderful as you would have thought.
>Cadence even warms up to you.
>All that’s left is the wedding reception.

>It’s nice... Very nice.
>You all watch as the bride and groom, husband and wife have their first dance.
>You looks down at Applejack and she smiles up at you.
>”Kinda makes ya think about yer future don’t it?” She asks with a wink.
>You’re taken off guard, but Luna does even more.
>The Doctor and ‘Inky’ stand at her side. She leans over and says, “You know what this party could use? A little Pinkie Pie charm.” Then she motions to the DJ stand.
>Pinkie grins and in a blink of an eye, kicks the party into top gear.
>Twilight even sings.
>You share a dance with AJ and Scoots.
>All a very nice affair.
>As the night winds down, Cadence thanks you again for everything you’ve done.
>You bow. “Just doing my duty milady.”
>The Doctor runs panicked between the two of you wearing AJ’s hat and shouting. “PINKEY! GET TO THE TARDIS!”
>Applejack chases quickly behind him. “Gimme that back ya good fer nothin’ hat rustler!”
>Cadence chuckles about your strange friends.
>You smile. “One day I might marry that mare.”
>Cadence kisses your cheek. “And I look forward to attending your wedding when you do.”
