Ushi: Shuba!

Ushi: Shubabababa! (SFX for ninja-like stealth running)

Guda: Whatcha doing?

Ushi: A, as expected of Master! To detect my presence so easily…
Ushi: As expected, as an Assassin I require more training!
Ushi: Training is in other words playing, yes, so why don’t we do a little game of hide and seek –
Ushi: - wait, no, no. I was about to forget the main issue at hand.

Guda: Main issue?

Ushi: Yes! Um, you see, it seems that this year as well, it’s Valentine’s Day –
Ushi: In other words, [A good day to directly express one’s daily gratitude in a gift] seems to have arrived.
Ushi: Especially recently, Master has been looking after me quite a bit.

Ushi: Then the [Scathach Challenge]…was quite risky when I failed, or should I say…
Ushi: It reminded me of my punishment in the mountains, and appeared in my dreams for a different kind of reason, but let’s leave it at that.
Ushi: ANYWAY!
Ushi: For the gift to the Master I have been so indebted to, I thought I should put in even more spirit than normal.
Ushi: This is no time to eating something that can’t be distinguished from a katana or a chocolate! (Note: Rider Ushi’s chocolate is a katana made of chocolate.)
Ushi: So I hoped you would receive this: a confection filled with chocolate!
*Hands you chocolate*
Ushi: With some teaching from Lady Raikou and others, I trained repeatedly until I completed this gift which was both delicious and fitting for myself!
Ushi: What do you think of this shape which is just overflowing with originality? I modelled it after the aralia plant, which resembles a Tengu’s fan –
Ushi: …huh? They already have something like this? Around the Aki area? (Aki: What they used to call Hiroshima prefecture. This kind of treat is a Hiroshima specialty.)
Ushi: …It can’t be…! (tearing up)
Ushi: I apologize…It seems this Ushiwakamaru was still lacking in training.
Ushi: Please forgive me, Master. Please give me some more time. I’ll try again, so please forget this ever happened…

Guda: *eats the treat* This is still really good, though!

Ushi: Ah, master! Eating it up just like that…is it really alright?

Guda: Of course it’s alright.

Ushi: You have the same fluffy feeling that I feel when I jump into Kumatarou’s fur…ehem. (Kumatarou is one of Ushi’s animal playmates on the mountain)
Ushi: So…it makes me want to play.
Ushi: I know it is shameful to say it aloud so much, but in front of Master I can’t control myself…
Ushi: So, um, now…um, Master. If you fill your belly with sweets, you’ll be all fueled up, right?
Ushi: Maybe…just maybe, but, do you feel like you might want to go play…?
